Four days before Halloween so I expected it to be busy. They had 3 employees working the registers and when I got in line there were about 8-10 people ahead of me. Unfortunately an older gentleman behind me kept making snide remarks about the line and whatnot but honestly you shouldn’t go to a party store days before a holiday and expect it to be business as usual. I give the employees a lot of credit because they were very calm and collected, and maintained their calm even when a little girl threw up onto the floor near the cash register. I honestly was just really impressed at all of the employees’ responses to the entire situation. They helped the mom clean up and tried to reassure her that it was just an accident. Overall the store was very clean and tidy. Some sections were obviously picked through but everything was still pretty organized and the line moved rather quickly even with the little incident. I would go back to this store for future party needs.

Have only placed balloon orders for this location. Everything I purchased was accurate and ready based on the time needed. The only critique is that both times the balloons did not seem fully inflated at pick up. They seem to under inflate the balloons.

The manger sucks he's rude n does not care his workers took the recipt and would not take them back he's rude and and no one should have to go thru this

The manager was too snarky. Customers don't need antagonistic sarcasm. And everything in there feel like it belongs in a dollar store. One item we asked about was visibly damaged, but it was the only one. I asked if there was a discount and the manager said no because it gave the item character, then he turned away. Seriously bad service.

The party city is just like any other. Everything aisle was full of something new which enticed you to continue through the store. I brought a list with me of things to buy for Halloween and they had everything. But in the end I left with nothing sue to how highly priced everything was. I found the stuff I was looking for in other stores for so much cheaper.

A lot of stuff for parties. Some is duplicate over and over with different colors, but if you want purple, gold or mauve... They've got it! Helpful staff when I went in and asked for things. Instead of directing me to a spot in an aisle, she dropped what she was doing to walk me over to the thing I was looking for. Very helpful.

Party City had a great selection of basic party supplies. If you want something a little more specific you really should look online. If you want your standard party themes or if you want bulk plain colored party supplies this is a great place to come. I found that there bulk favor toys were a bit mundane and really cheap so I would strongly suggest getting those types of things online but 4 things to pick up in a crunch this is a great place.

Staff was rude. I guess they think it’s okay to rudely throw receipts at customers if their line is long. Not to mention we had to take two trips back to the store because the balloons deflated by the time we got home. At the end of the day we still did not have properly inflated balloons. Next time I’ll take the longer drive to a different establishment to avoid this mess of a store.

Unfortunately there was an electronic communication error when I got there to pick up my curbside balloon order. I checked in by clicking the text link and waited for 10 minutes before I called. The pleasant lady apologized and all was forgiven as those things can happen. However, when I got home and opened the party city bag that held together my ballon order, I found one of the balloons was already half deflated. I live in East Hartford and drove all the way to Simsbury for these specific balloons and I am not pleased. Obviously, it was not blown up correctly as the other balloons were perfectly fine. Purely lack of standards.

I went to this store when they first opened one morning. The guy working was very pleasant so early in the morning but the store didn’t have what I needed. I was sure if any place had it they would.

Nice festive store, full of alot of party needs. If you are not sure what to do for a party just walk through the isles and you will have tones of ideas.
