Best locally owned pet store around. Great selection of items for a variety of pets. Staff is knowledgeable and incredibly helpful, and if they don’t have something in stock they’re more than willing to place special orders.

I just recently purchased a betta fish with zero knowledge on how to care for it. I walked in the store and ask for some information and let the store extremely satisfied. Thanks to Brett Adam & Elise they were extremely friendly and were able to answer my questions. I would recommend to go check them out for anything you might need. I Love That Store!!!!!

My dog had a skunk encounter, & I did the peroxide/baking soda/ dish soap wash ASAP. Today being a holiday, nowhere could I find a place to bathe him, & complete the job. This place offers self wash, BUT NOT FOR SKUNK VICTIMS. They only tell you that after you've arrived with your dog. Skunk smell lasts quite a while, & "they could smell it", so we were turned away. How does that provide "personalized service" as they advertise ? Sorry, this is a deal breaker for us, if you can't get help when your dog needs it, why advertise of great service? Maybe they are willing to help your dog only after it's been groomed & sparkling clean. Pet people are aware that dogs & skunks cross paths on occasion. Not this place. Fair weather service only. Thanks for nothing.

This is my absolute favorite pet store. They have a great selection of cat and dog food and always have what I need. They’re super friendly and helpful, you can always find an associate and they also always ask if you need any help within 5 minutes of walking into the store. The store is clean and well organized. They usually have some good sales and send coupons in the mail. It’s the highlight of my dog Roxy’s day when we stop by!

After at least 6 years of buying all of animals food and other supplies at pet supplies plus I will never be returning. I rushed to the store after realizing I was out of my dog food to and I arrive 5 minutes before they close to have the girl lock the door “lip I’m sorry” and walk away. Lost a good customer not because of closing early but locking the door as you saw me coming. Never again will I come to pet supplies plus.

I actually like this pet store quite a bit, and all of the employees (save one) are wonderful. The manager absolutely ruins the experience for me. He cannot keep his hands to himself, seems to think if your dogs come in he has the right to interact with them as much as he wants, and does not respect being told they're in training/in a command. Very frustrating to have my own and my dogs personal space invaded over and over.

A convenient place in the Shelton area with a large selection. The staff are helpful. I recommend that you do not bring your pet with you into the store. I have met some whack-job mannerless Karens who insist that their big dogs should run right up in the face of my small dog.

Bad experience a few nights ago. I have no idea her name but she was blonde and kinda looked like a bulldog. She was rushing me out of the store, giving me attitude, basically pushing a panic attack on me. I get off late from work and I needed food for my dog and i didn’t have time to go the next day. She basically told me that wasn’t her issue and I should’ve been prepared. I ended up leaving, no dog food and a really bad taste in my mouth. Will not be returning and I can see on the reviews there’s plenty about this girls service and I will be calling corporate so they do something.

If you want things for a dog cat or fish it's great but I have a tortoise and seemed like not enough inventory for exotics and person I dealt with had no idea of what I needed and infact gave me incorrect information.

Always receive excellent customer service here! Every time I pass an employee, I am kindly greeted and asked if I need any sort of assistance or have any questions. I love their selection of dog food, treats, and supplements. Although prices seem expensive, they’re equally as expensive regardless of where you go.

Lots of options available for dog food, treats and toys. Reasonable prices and many sale items to choose from. I wish they offered grooming services. They do have a self service washing area for your dog. Helpful during the winter months when outside bathing is not possible.

Always a great trip to the pet store! Today the cashier welcomed us while ringing up two customers. Two employees and the manager checked to make sure I was finding everything I needed. We found everything! Then the cashier who greeted us surprised me with the 15% off coupon for my dog's food that's in the flyer that I didn't have. The small town feel is ALWAYS present!

This is a great pet store. They have a excellent selection of products and the staff is very friendly and helpful. My dog has been on Fromm food since he was a puppy. This store is one of the only ones around that carry it. I live 3 towns over and have no qualms about the drive.

Couldn’t recommend this enough! Ray helped me find a harness for an English bulldog that I’m dog sitting. He directed me to a JK9 harness that was perfect for his power and size.Ray is friendly, knowledgeable and attentive.Also, I became a member and was able to save $12 on the harness.Pet Supplies Plus has so many products for all kinds of pets. I also didn’t know they had hermit crabs, birds, fish, and hamsters! Good to know for the future if I want a small pet!Great prices, too!

DON’T ever special order pet food from this store. I have ordered a few times and every single time they tell me that my order “the slip” has been misplaced. Not once have I ever received an order. A bunch of incompetent people work there. Not sure how every single time that I try to order they could misplace the order slip. Maybe that is what they feed to their fish. Never have they tried to rectify this or retrain their staff on how to file orders. They have lost a customer that spends a lot of money yearly on pet food.
