Amazing!! We just moved to the area and had scheduled one last appointment with the groomer from our old town. Long story short, it got cancelled at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances. The team at The Grateful Dog was able to take our 3 year old golden, Nash before the end of the month and we were so grateful (pun intended!). My husband dropped him off and said their facility was so clean. They even let him walk Nash to the crate because he was scared (he's a big baby!) They did a wonderful job and called us right away to pick him up! We've definitely found our new groomer!

Robin and Otto are the best people. They take excellent care of my older lab kaely and also my puppy Raven!! They are awesome! My dogs come out happy and looking great after being groomed. This is by far the best groomer I've ever had!! Thank you Robin and Otto!!

Robin and crew are amazing! My "Fred" is a chorkie and like most small dogs has an attitude and he loves going to The Grateful Dog!! Everyone's there is always professional, friendly and knowledgeable. It's obvious they all really love what they do. Pricing is reasonable. The shop is clean and smells great. Fred always comes out happy and looking handsome.

I had both my German Shepherd and Golden Retriever groomed here and they did an amazing job! I am super picky about how my golden is groomed but they were fabulous with her. My Shepherd usually only listens to commands from me (it is the way she is trained) but they were outstanding with her and you can tell they are dog people because she listened to them right away. I was really surprised. I would recommend them to anyone!

My dog loves coming to The Grateful Dog as much as I love seeing him properly groomed and looking fantastic. The dogs haircut is always proper and he smells terrific every time I pick him up. The Grateful Dog are very good good at providing the correct grooming for the dog. The price is right and the dog always leaves with a well matching necktie for the season or holiday. He even receives a couple bones on the way out and a Christmas present during the Holiday season. Continue to be pleased and always satisfied with the beautiful looking dog that gets groomed. The Grateful Dog, Robin and crew are friendly and take great care of the dog. Well worth the choice for a groomer if you just got a dog or are looking for a groomer.

Our mobile groomer is no longer in business and we needed to find someone to groom our two quirky dogs. My wife was really nervous about how the dogs would do with someone new.We needn’t have worried. These folks were great with our dogs and we don’t think they’ve ever looked so good! They’re usually cut too short and we joke that they look embarrassed. This was the first time they looked good the day of a grooming. We will be back.

Very friendly and helpful people. They had no problem taking my dramatic rescue furbaby and took great care with him. He actually enjoyed the bath! A little pricey for a basic bath and dry but worth it for the peace of mind and clean dog.

Took my blue healer mix in he was a wreck hair in knots, and hair balled up every where. So glad we found The Grateful Dog Salon. I was worried when I brought him in that I would be reprimanded By the staff because of the messy state he was in. I was pretty embarrassed but the owner and staff reassured me that they would take good care of him and that they had seen worse. So I left him in there care and went about my other errands I needed to take care of. When I returned I couldn’t believe that he was the same dog that I left with them. They did such an amazing and incredible job I may enter him in the Westminster dog show next year!! The owner and staff impressed me by the care that they gave to my dog that I would and will definitely recommend this groomer to every dog owner I know. They are professional, caring, and have great attitudes and take there job very seriously but with a smile on there face the whole time.

Our cocker spaniel Barney has skin issues and the groomer made sure to take her time and give him the proper care as to not irriate the issues further. We are very happy with the cut and knowing how difficult his skin can be to handle we appreciate their understanding and patience. Highly recommend!

I can't praise Robin and Otto enough for their professionalism and the excellent treatment, bathing, and grooming of my three Old English Sheepdogs. Having owned this breed for years I know only too well how long it takes to bath, dry, and brush them out. It took me years to find a groomer that knows how to groom an OES and doesn't immediately suggest shaving all their hair off because she comes across mats. Both Robin and Otto are always friendly and a pleasure to deal with and I only wish I had found them sooner.

My wife Lynn and I have been bringing our yellow lab Kayla for the last nine months having her nails trimmed by Otto. We would recommend it them to anybody we are very pleased with their professionalism and great care.

In response to Kathi Crowes review below, what she has left out of the review is she dropped off TWO large dogs that required ALOT of work. Our policy is 4 hrs of grooming time PER dog , she dropped off two. It takes us a total of three hours to wash and dry each dog and that doesnt include brushing the coat out before giving them a haircut. The dogs were never left " wet" in a crate as we hand dry all the dogs. Her dogs hated coming to us because neither of them are trained and spend the whole 5 hours barking and disrupting the staff and other dogs. The youngest on the two bit both my bather and groomer on numerous occasions. Again, we have a 4 hr per dog policy posted on our website , on the door coming into the shop and numerous places inside the shop. We offered her an Express fee because she felt her dogs should be put before anyone else's and she declined.We dont pick which dogs we want to do, we groom them in the order they come in. I would pay any groomer who says that can do these two huge hairy, misbehaved dogs in less then 5 hours total . Instead of understanding how difficult her two dogs are to groom she immediately comes here to bash us. As you can see , all of our other reviews are 5 stars. According to our policy her dogs were done 3 hours before scheduled time . When I called her husband to let him know " they're on the table and just finishing them up" (3 hrs before scheduled release time) he misunderstood and told Kathi we were just starting them. I called 15 minutes later to say they were done. Because Kathi or her husband couldn't comprehend what I said in the first place or bother to ask again, they assumed we had their HUGE HAIRY DIRTY OVERGROWN dogs in crates for 5 hours and that we managed to bath, dry and give the dogs haircuts in 20 min and not that we had been working on them for the past 5 hours. When they came to pick up the dogs , Kathi decided to verbally abuse my groomer in the parking lot . Her husband completely embarrassed couldn't even make eye contact with us. I then went outside to try and speak to her and she continuted to scream in our parking lot like a wild women. Theres always two sides of a story. We try our best to accommodate every client and work very hard to make everyone happy. Theres just some people you cant make happy. I feel sorry for any groomer who has to deal with this women and her dogs.

Terrible. They make appointments and don’t groom the dogs for hours while your pet waits in the crate. Sometimes they bathe all the dogs early in the day and then decide the order in which they will groom. My dogs sat in the crate wet for 5 hours before being groomed. They hated going there and would cry every time . I finally realized their horrible process and regret that I ever put my dogs through that.
