I'll give you guys 2 stars because you had all the items I needed. But to call cops because you suspect me of stealing lol. They called an unmarked to the store. Yeah guys I saw that he drove off after I left the store. Was it the hoody?

I like going to Stop and Shop but the Seymour location is a nightmare to enter and exit since the entrance is at a four way intersection on a very busy road. The self checkout is a nightmare since if you don't put your item in a very specific small spot after you scan it, the whole procedure comes to a halt and you need to find an attendant to fix the problem; this is a unique problem in my experience and one that needs to be fixed.

I've lived in Seymour for 38 years and shopped at Stop&Shop ever since they moved here. I love their selection of foods and their quality never disappoints me. They also have a good amount of housewares and cleaning products to choose from; for me, it's one stop shopping 👍

Can you please get a few more baskets and/or some of the smaller sized carts I see at other locations?And the self checkout area could really use a sign or something in addition to the floor marker to show there is only one line… it’s unclear, and people mistakingly cut the line all the time, the employees don’t say anything when it happens and it’s very irritating for the regular customers who know how it works.

I stopped in to pick up lunch while on my lunch break. My experience with one of the workers, Molly, at this location has been unpleasant from beginning to end. First she didn’t greet me at all. She treated me as if being in her line was a bother to her.I paid in cash for my items and when it was time to give me my change, she only gave me my receipt and accused me of lying about when I reminded her that she didn’t give me my change.Instead of apologizing for her mistake, the woman began to angrily throw my items in my bag. I would have stayed to talk to the manager personally but I decided to call the store since I’m on a timed lunch break. When speaking to the manager, she didn’t seemed to care at all about the horrible customer service I received today.Clearly this location doesn’t value their customers and I will not be returning.

The store could really use some updating and cleaning. Still a go-to if I'min a hurry but their competitors have much nicer stores and staff that are more courteous and seem to like what they do.

Weirdly stocked and understocked, disheveled. Just another reason to shop anywhere but Stop & Shop. Such a New England Disappointment. Self checkout is so annoying that if it had a face I would punch it.

I can't even tell you how many times I have purchased produce, from Seymour S&S, only to come home to realize it was rotten... arugula, cabbage, mango, basil, raspberries, peppers, etc... all on separate occasions and some multiple times. The produce (especially organic) is absolutely terrible despite being the most expensive of any other store we shop. We typically go out of our way 20-30 minutes for groceries, unfortunately this store is the most convenient when in a pinch. I can only hope this place goes out of business and a better option opens up in it's place or they have a serious up grade to their produce department. Totally unacceptable to charge top price for the lowest quality. I don't typically write reviews but enough is enough... I am tired of wasting my money here. Avoid if you can.

Convenient, but the shelves are terribly empty. I've been to all the other major chains of supermarkets in the area and Stop & Shop's shelves are the most empty. I understand the shipping and driver problems, but why is it that Stop & Shop has the worst inventory. It's not just this location either. Revised 2023: this was coming out of Covid, but I still notice items that are out of stock or not available.

The produce in this store is absolutely terrible. I cannot tell you how many times I have bought groceries here and ended up with rotten produce in my shopping bag. To top it off it’s one of the most expensive grocery stores I’ve experienced. The management should really be ashamed of themselves. Sad.

I think it is clean. The prices are decent if you know how to shop their sale items. I like the ability to scan items as I shop. This not only keeps me aware of what I am spending. It makes for a quick checkout.I find that the people are generally friendly, it is easy to find most items and the food is fresh.

Pretty good store. We stopped shopping there because it didn't have everything we needed, but overall not bad. The workers there are mostly nice, but there was one time I was waiting in line to pay pretty late, and the worker was taking forever to get someone to open the locked door cabinet in the front. I was still waiting and another worker came up behind me and was saying rude things about a kid in one of the lines calling him names and saying he looks like a toy to the cashier. I wanted to turn around and say something. Wasnt happy with that.

The store is showing it's age. Stock levels were poor. Wet floor absorbing snakes all up and down frozen aisle..I know we are going through some tough times with supply chain issues, but a multi billion dollar company should be run better than this....questionable quality and poor meats..only dept that stood out was bakery, and most of that was thawed from frozen...and then the cashier was in a " don't bother me" mood even when I wished her a nice day...terrible

Very convenient location. I made a stop early in the morning so the store was very quiet and, hence, a 4 star rating. If it was in full effect with cuatomera buzzing, I would be able to see how the store environment is at that time. The muffins in the bakery were ready for customer enjoyment and I grabbed a blueberry one to go. Very good. Tina was my cashier and was very pleasant. I would return to shop again at this S&S.

Typical Stop and Shop. The store is clean and organized. Employees are polite and helpful. Order ahead deli, scan it, and grocery pick up are all available at this store. The self checkout was recently updated and they always have plenty of registers with cashiers open. There's a gas station at this location, too. Parking lot is busy but you can find great parking spots. There's a Peoples bank inside and also have drive up ATM in parking lot.

The Stop & Shop in Seymour has been my "go-to" store for the past 14+ years and counting. I love the selection, especially the organic produce, and I've especially come to appreciate the dedicated employees that I get to say hello to weekly/monthly. In particular, there is one employee (Gina) that always takes the time to show me how I can save time and money. She introduced me to the "Scan It!" device, which I would have never tried on my own, and recently she showed me some new ways to find out about sales at the store. I am so grateful for employees like her that take the time to improve the customer experience!

I visited the store on 12-6-20. An employee was super kind and checked out my groceries (that I was carrying in my arms) at the help kiosk near the self checkout. The florist was also very helpful and matched the balloon colors to the ribbon without me asking (a cute touch) and has helped me in the past (when I didn’t know they offered services for free if you buy an arrangement from them). I left very happy to have had received the help I did today!

This review is in regards to Joann in the Florist Department. Joann did a beautiful job on the centerpieces for my daughters bridal shower. I provided the teapots and Joann did the arrangements. I could not have been happier with the way they came out. I got so many compliments on them and told everyone to go see Joann for their floral needs. The picture below is 9 days after the event and it is still beautiful.

I was getting out of my car in a handicapped parking spot. There was a person collecting carriages. I asked him to leave a carriage so it can help me walk. He said sorry and collected the carriage. As I hobbled across the parking lot. Another customer ran a carriage over to me . Why aren't the carriage collectors allowed to leave one for a handicapped customer. I found this to be very poor customer service. If the employee is not allowed to help us . Maybe move the carriage return next to handicapped parking

Stop. and Shop.in Seymour all the staff our great ! I waited in line for a good 15 minutes only 2 cashier's open ! Too many self check outs! I wish they would replace them with staff working behind the register ! I never used them ! I love being checked out by your Wonderful Cashier's !
