I just came from this store, and left my items because I pay for care pass every month and they deducted my payment, but the store associate who said he saw that I had a reward, but wasn't able to scan it so he couldn't use it. He called Patty the manger who came over and saw the reward as well, but said it wasn't working..so you as a manager couldn't manually put that in Patty? You could and I know you could because the last time this happened a manager manually put it in. I can now see why you have a 2 star rating. Horrible customer service, I'm rating you here, I've reported you to corporate, and I'll also be filing a fraud charge with my bank because you took my $5 yet you refused to allow me to use the reward that came withThe monthly service charge.

Cashier with short black hair was rude. I had little issue with checking out with uber order and she told meYou should have made sure u were before u checked out.I can't believe she said that to me .No matter what customer says or is wrong ...cashier or customer service should never say things like that .

My only complaint is that they close the pharmacy every day for lunch. Never seen that before. You guys need to stagger your lunch breaks so you can be available to customers. Pharmacy manager should do the job you've been hired for. Stop being selfish so you can have lunch at the same time.

The pharmacy here may have some flaws but I’ll be switching all my meds permanently. The pharmacists are incredible.I stopped using CVS for 6+ years, but I recently had to switch back. Twice now they’ve called to ask about potential interactions and allergies. One med has a side effect of thinning blood, which isnt great if you have clotting issues. And when I had antibiotics, they called to confirm I’d used it before (I’m allergic to a similar antibiotic).Walgreens filled both meds in the past year, and didn't identify or mention some rather serious potential complications. I’ve called both pharmacies to ask questions: Walgreens pharmacists are dismissive, the CVS pharmacist on the other hand spent 15 mins on the phone answering my long list of questions.

I have had terrible experiences with the pharmacist at this location. First she did not want to give two of my prescriptions bc she said they could not be taken together. They were prescribed by my doctor and I knew the specific instructions on taking them. She had no right to try to deny my prescriptions. The next time there was a hold up with my prescription and my insurance. The prescription was needed so I said I would pay out of pocket. She said I wasn’t allowed to! I called CVS corporate and that is not their policy! I should have been able to pay for my prescription in cash no questions asked. I will not be returning to this CVS for a prescription ever again!

Charged $13 for the average 3 subject college ruled notebook. What a joke, this shouldn't be allowed. Nothing special / no hard cover etc. So sad where our world is going these days.

Slowest cashiers I’ve seen in a very long time. Worse part wasn’t the wait but the attitude of the cashiers this is normal. It took 20 minutes to pay $0.41 for a photo I had printed there.while waiting, I also noticed several people go to the self checkout lane. Almost half of those people needed attention from the cashier because of something going on with their transaction. Each time the cashier would have to leave the counter to come and help the person at the self checkout lane. So much for “self check out.”

Really the worst experience of any pharmacy I've gone to. I took my husband there to get a vaccine. They told me that the insurance doesn't cover it and tried to charge $211. When I said that I believe that it should be covered they told me to call my insurance. Online my provider indicates that it is in fact 100% covered. I called the insurance and they told me it is 100% covered and that the person entered the claim incorrectly (added an administration fee). I called the pharmacy back and the person, who I believe may have been the same person, said that there was no way to enter the claim. She told me that she couldn't do anything unless I rescheduled the appointment. I work all day so have to schedule after 6 and I was concerned that once we got there they would again reject the claim. She would not call the insurance company directly which is what the agent mentioned that they should do in order to figure out how to enter the claim. I re-scheduled the appointment and CVS immediately canceled the appointment. They didn't call me or give me any indication as to why the appointment was rejected other than a text "due to unforeseen circumstances". Needless to say we won't go back to that CVS again.

I'd give them no stars if I could. The only reason I ever go to this pharmacy is because my insurance forces me to. The pharmacist is rude and condescending. They will tell you a prescription will be filled and they have your information, but when you drive there it isn't ready or there is some kind of problem. If you ask for a pharmacist, they will tell you they are one, but then the next time they said you must not have talked to a pharmacist. Either they are lying or don't want to own up to their mistakes. I wish I could go back to Walgreens. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else!

I have never had multiple terrible experiences at a CVS than I have at this particular location. There are locations in major cities such as Bridgeport and New Haven that blow this place out of the water. Here are some of my issues; the management is clearly not running the store in a positive and productive manner; is most likely rude to their employees which is why people will always see a fresh face working within the store; the pharmacy techs are not on time in the morning. Everyone do yourself a favor and utilize the Walgreens across the street if you need a properly run storefront and pharmacy to go to.

Debbie in the pharmacy is absolutely rude. She told me, “The quicker I get off the phone, I could have it done for you. We are extremely busy.” That is no way to speak to anyone. I can see why this CVS only has 2.2 stars.

whoever the “pharmacist” is here needs better training. I called to see if they had the medicine needed to fill my prescription before getting all the way there. she immediately starts saying “I’m gonna tell you right now if it’s XYZ then it’s out” didnt ask me any of my information nothing. Just KEPT interrupting me. once I asked if she was going to keep doing this she said “say whatever it is you have to say” then proceeds to get loud and interrupts me still so I hung up in her face. if the PHARMACIST is like this I can only imagine the pharmacy techs. never coming here.

The pharmacist on call told me my 5 year old's prescription was not covered and we would need to pay $2,000 out of pocket or they would not order her medicine... even though she had been on the same medication a month prior with no issue through a different pharmacy and the same insurance. When I explained this, he was quite condescending on the phone commenting that, "the other pharmacy probably didn't have some magical insurance wand that they could wave over the prescription."We had it transferred to another pharmacy with zero issue and a $5 out of pocket payment.

I come to this CVS to have my prescriptions filled. Every time I have come here, there is a wait for prescriptions to be filled. I don’t mind waiting, but when I have a ballpark time your medication will be filled, I expect that to happen. Today, they said my sons prescription would be ready at 11 am. I came in at 4:30 & have been waiting over 15 minutes for the prescription when the woman at the cash register told me it would only be a 5 minute wait. Every other person that has come to the pick up counter has been told they have at least a 15+ minute wait. It’s ridiculous. This pharmacy sucks. I’m going to switch all prescriptions to the Walgreens down the street. They would never have customers waiting this long. Smh.

The pharmacist and staff on duty were rude and unhelpful. If you don’t mind making multiple trips because they sent the wrong robo call message for pickup. After leaving he sent out the correct message. Lack of integrity in admitting a mistake. Training is needed.

The horrid woman at the pharmacy asked my wife what she was using a prescription for while she was a the counter filling a doctor prescription. This same rude and unintelligent pharmacist will hand out oxytocin to every slack jawed yokel, no problem. Put pills in the a bottle and keep your opinions to yourself.

Jan. 6, 2022 lady at pick up window very snotty and rude with senior citizen. Approximately 6:30 pm. They returned my prescription to stock when i had to following day to pick up per their automated call. They punished me by having me wait 2 mire weeks to replenish my prescription. Fire lady at pick up!

Pharmacist named Cushca is very difficult to interact with. It is not my first time she is hanging up on me. Very rude. Very unprofessional and I cannot just handle it any longer. Will contact manager it her direct boss because she really crossed the line today. I called from providers office with script.

I have only had good experiences with the pharmacy and great interactions with the pharmacists that I’ve dealt with. The only thing that’s not favorable about this location is that sometimes there are long lines because they’re always busy.

Pharmacy staff rude and indifferent. Suggest using cvs in Ansonia they are focused, helpful, and nice. The Seymour pharmacy consultation lady is flat out rude. Pulling my prescriptions for me and my family

Last time I tried to call, the gentleman said he was too busy to call my insurance. He told me "your insurance isnt going to cover that'' and he was wrong. I wish I got his name. He told me he would call me back but never bothered. Please get a new staff (maybe one smiling female in the drive through)

This pharmacy never has its act together. There’s always an issue no matter what. And the store hours say 8:00 they don’t show up until ten after or later. If I could give zero stars I would.

Pharmacy and staff are unhelpful. They always say they are to busy to help. You wait on the phone for a minimum of 10 minutes. Please check your meds to make sure they did not short you.
