Nice place to take out fruits to groceries to poultries to daily household things. Quality is better than Walmart but comes with a greater price too. There’s a cake shop inside where you can have cakes for any celebration and have it decorated with wishes..

This shop is just beside the walmart. It was not so crowdy comparatively. Fruits and vegetables were so fresh.. I found that items were cheap also..

Expensive. Have had to cut back on my visits to this store, as I can't justify the cost and travel. There are a couple of spaces for discount bakery goods, and clearance items, when you can find them. Nearly a one stop shopping experience. Rotisserie chicken now comes in bags and are A LOT smaller, half the size and twice the price, NOT an economical choice anymore. This time I was looking for pre made "grinders". They only had halfs, and they were almost the same price as a whole. The particular dog food I buy is $2 more than at WM. I really can't justify shopping here anymore

At the deli counter around 9pm last night. Two workers a guy and gal behind the counter. As I was looking over the selections the guy puts his hand over his face with his glove on. Talk about unsanitary in a Covaid environment to boot. He needs to be retrained or find another job that doesn't encompass any direct exposure to food. The whole ordeal is disgusting and unacceptable!

Booooo👎👎I am big! BIG on Customer Service! Don’t expect a smile or warm welcome. If you want that you will have to go the Big Y in Rocky Hill. I have been going to this store on and off for a while and it does not look like it will ever change. 😞The parking area is very dangerous when walking. 🚶‍♀️ Please look both ways before crossing.

Strange layout compared to the one I'm used to in East Hampton. The milk & bread are all the way on the far side past the cleaning supplies and personal care. And the Powerade ISN'T in the juice/SPORT DRINK aisle.... It's with the bottled water in a whole other aisle! Last i checked, Powerade was a SPORTS drink.... I think all the stores should have the same layout so people don't get lost going to an unfamiliar S & S....

The manager was extremely helpful. I forgot to put in my phone number for my savings and he facilitated a fast, efficient reimbursement. Because I completed the survey in the store as requested, I was also given a $5 gift card. This was a pleasant surprise.

This was my go to store for years but after my last purchase I won’t be back. They need to hire new people. From expired chicken, to open packages, and employees truly not caring about the safe consumption of the food they’re handling for customers. Avoid this location at all costs.

Excellent pharmacy!! I'm having my prescriptions changed over to them from CVS. Very professional, good customer service, and I can get my prescriptions in a timely fashion. Plus their phone system is better.

Cluttered isles with carts and boxes , poor selection of meats, not enough cashier's and huge lines. Will not be returning to this outdated understaffed store. Management needs to do better in supporting their employees.

I just wish something would be done with keeping the grocery carts and buggies on the property. Keep the community clean. These are pictures of the carts littering walk way. The Hamden Stop & Shop has the sensor system.

Very good store. Excellent pharmacy and staff. Food prices reflect the Biden administration. Mega inflated but S+S. are not to blame, it's the Deamoncrats running the show.Again today 9/11 the head pharmacist Dave went way out of his way trying to find me the proper dosage of the medicine that I take. He's a good man, hard worker, pleasant attitude. 👍

I was in bottle room and something happen to machine I ask the lady if she could help me or get someone for me she tell me no I don’t work for that department and just sat there the whole time I was in there Jen is her name very rude and not helpful at all

I like coming to this stop and shop. But every time I go I always notice an associate looking at me really closely. To the point she even goes outside until I go in my car. I think her name is Diana agoli. I got her name from an other associate because I was so uncomfortable this time. Please train your worker's to make customers feel comfortable when they come in.

I have shopped here for 12 years, I can say the quality of the foods has gone down. Products aren't stocked and I don't trust and often see that getting fresh meat and produce is not available often. I will not be shopping here anymore 😔

Not great. Store not being cleaned. Short staffed. Automatic checkout is not processing coupons correctly. (they said it was a system problem). The automatic weighing system shuts down when you put a paper bag on it. Produce has gone rotten after two days at home. Store just puts prepackaged meat on shelf. Not the best quality.

Good selection of different products, but produce often goes bad quickly for whatever reason. They are absolutely taking advantage of the pricing trend at the moment, but that's not the staff's fault. Customer service is often hit-or-miss.

I love Stop & Shop, nothing compares to them, great food, great bargains, great meat, I love them, my stores to do all my groceries, unfortunately they do not operate in Winter Park, FL, where I spend half of the year, i missed so much when I am over there, I do not know what to do without Stop & Shop, I worked for them when I was 15, now on my 50's nothing has beat them. Love you guys!

Stop & Shop continues to be the price leader and I don't mean with low prices.They are not bashful when it comes to how much to charge. I give the store good marks for cleanliness and covid 19 social distancing. Their self checkout is a big improvement. Available stock seems to be a problem still with most stores. I am puzzled why the shelves are not well stocked. Stop & Shop is still only when I have to, kind of like going to the dentist.

I JUST CAN'T SHOP HERE ANYMORE.Even though I live super close I absolutely will not shop here. I will go to newington, Cromwell locations or Big Y. The other nearby stores are nicer but the reason I will not shop here anymore is because couple of the employees who work here.Especially one girl who works self and regular checkout. Super rude and condescending. Bakery ppl are great. Really great. But a couple others in checkout are awful. Really awful.I won't be back.
