The food part is good as a market but I went in to get chicken cutlet sandwich and meatball sandwich and they were actually processed meat, shipped to them and all they had to do was assemble them. I like a grinder where they make it their chicken cutlets and meatballs in store. That’s how you get fresh and authentic food

I love this store, in spite of higher prices. Full service Deli, Seafood, and Meat counters always have professional, highly experienced help. I have to practice self control or I could go on a serious shopping extravaganza, everything looks so good.

Theor meat department rocks. Great steaks and their homemade sausage is fantastic. Try the chicken florentine garlic and cheese sausage it's amazing.

I love the food and I come here all the time, but just about 5 mins ago a girl sitting upfront with brown hair and eyes that look like there about to pop out of the socket is “monitoring” suppose to be doing her job/ if a customer asks for help she gives assistance. She racially profiled me, spoke so disgustingly down on me and treated me nasty. She obviously is very insecure and feels the need to compare herself , even to other races and ethnicity’s ….. very odd. I went back to front where she fled over to and I said to her don’t ever speak to me like that again , idk who you think you are or why your hostile towards someone you don’t know but if it’s because I wear a hijab and my culture, she shouldn’t work in a place like that. I simply needed help scanning a soup…… ugly human. Inside and out. Shame…..

I love Westside, this is my new go to! The deli and meat market are always on point in quality and cleanliness. The produce is fresh and has a good variety. Sometimes it feels like the prices are high but they have such good sales. I’ve actually been spending less on groceries by coming here than the other typical grocery stores. Really great stuff!!

How does it make you feel when you find out you're getting ripped off? This "Unadvertised Special" at West Side Market is exactly $2.83 more than the local Walmart store's Everyday Pricing! What a scam!This really is a pretty cool store. Their Meat, Deli and Seafood departments, all located at the far back of the store are really well above average. And all the employees at the back of the store have great personalities and seem to care about their jobs. Then, there's the front end, which leaves very much more to be desired. Problem is, like most ripoff strategies, you have to expose yourself to all the deception they can create in order to access what West Side Market does best. So go to their Meat, Deli and Seafood departments - just do so with blinders on.

This has become one of my favorite places to shop and I am right between three other major grocery markets they have a great fresh meat selection one of the best that I've seen their butchers are awesome in always very helpful they have a wonderful hot bar with food their chicken wings are hands-down some of the best that I've had even at restaurants locally we do our recycling there it's small but it has a pretty good selection there are few things I have to go to other stores for but not many they have Boar's Head meat which is what my family eats and a lot of their Cheese's which is a huge Plus 4 us the prices are pretty reasonable we're always in and out even when it busy you move pretty quick getting through the register line I only had one experience that was kind of off-putting with a very young kid working there and it definitely was not enough to deter me from going to that store because everyone else makes up for it I think this is a great little market

If you want Quality Meats / Bell & Evans Chicken, Pork, Italian Sausage, HUGE hand made burgers, etc...you can't go wrong. They also have some of the best Chicken salad, Potato Salad and my favorite the TUNA MAC Salad. The fresh bread is super soft and perfect for sandwiches or grinders. When we want to treat ourselves, we come here. The store selection is OK..but when you go there, you'll realize that the main draw is the deli and meat counters. It is definitely my go to when I want to make a great meal or BBQ.

Salad bar is Gr8. 2 or more soups. Deli has many choices if U don't feel like cookn. Point it out, pay 4 it, heat when ur ready 2 eat. Worth the trip.

This used to be my favorite grocery store, but not any longer. I should have known when the self checks appeared that things were going to get worse, and my trip here yesterday confirmed my fears. One of the selling points of West Side was their butcher shop, always staffed by friendly, knowledgeable people. Not this time. My husband asked for a couple of things, only to be pointed at the case of prewrapped meats. The staffers were busy discussing which of them would be working on Fathers' Day, and none of them were people we recognized from previous visits. The meat that they did package...six chicken thighs...turned out to be five chicken thighs. Makes it hard to ration them for three diners. We stood in line for quite a while to check out, since there were only two registers open and the rest were the dreaded self checks. It used to be worth paying their high prices because of their excellent quality and service. Without the quality and service the reason to shop here is gone.

They have the most delicious Hamburg, and it is the only place where I will buy my hamburger. The other thing they make really well are the Ciabatta Breads, but recently they changed the packaging for the ciabatta bread, so instead of being crunchy, it's soft, so I stopped buying them. Why did they change something when it was fine to begin with? I did notice that they also introduced a different type of ciabatta bread that is in the original packaging that all the other ciabatta breads used to be in. What's up with that?

I live this store. I wish they had one near me. The meat department is like they used to be. You walk up and can see that the meat was just cut that day, then you let the butcher know which steak you like and he wraps it up for you. All the produce looks fresh and the sales are amazing. Way better then these big grocery stores that rob you with their prices..

I LOVE this place., Found it when Stop and Shop was on Strike.. you don't have to worry about checking dates on meats, worry about someone putting meat back that was left in an isle, it's all fresh, you order it, you tell them how much to put., The guys there are so nice and patient. I no longer buy meat anywhere else, why take a chance. Get it here, fresh and get as much as you want in each package. Makes life so easy

We're checking out new grocery store for the family. We like the size of the store. Deli service was speedy but prices are higher than expected. Seafood was reasonable. Smaller selection. There is a meat counter for no apparent reason. Why is there a meat counter? Asked for a meat loaf mix which was prepackaged.... And they wrapped it in paper. Why? We saw our brand of chicken stock for 3.99 which is 1 more than we paid before. Lol So we'll consider this store.
