Making an online appointment for a vaccine is not enough. I was told today that after making the appointment you have to also call to make sure they order the vaccine. There’s no way of knowing this other than by showing up for your appointment only to learn they don’t have the vaccine. After showing up for three separate appointments only to be told they don’t have the vaccine, today was the first time I was told to call to order the vaccine. Giving two stars instead of one because the person was very helpful and this is a Walgreens’ issue, not their employees. They need a better system.

Consistently rude staff, never ask if you need bags or help you bag they just stand there and stare at you they rush you along in your transactions and they never want to help you when you ask where anything else. Don’t come to this location go down the hill to CVS where at least you can check yourself out since the staff here don’t want to be bothered to do their jobs

I actually normally go to the near by close by CVS but. I wanted to try something new. Well stocked store, I came here for hand lotion. I was directed by a nice register clerk to the isle didn’t catch her name seemed nice enough . I was not far from the pharmacy and I met the pharmacist who goes by Brian and had a nice chat. He encouraged me to buy the Jergens with enriching shea butter. He said it gives you anti aging. The purchase was well worth it my hands feel smoother. I may start coming here instead of CVS and thank you Brian for spending the time with me

The store is small but well stocked and convenient for you as it’s accessible from the 95 and the Route 1 that is a plusThe minus is the pharmacy department that is understaffed and that is the what you’re truly there for. If that steps up so will the rating.

This pharmacy does not keep regular hours. For anyone with an actual job in the real world to pick up a prescription, he’d have to take a day off. Even then, they might randomly be closed when they say they’d be open. They also will not deliver when you put down and pay for delivery. The staff is not at all educated on the function of the website. The training is bad and the staff are nice, only victims of corporate greed. They try hard, but with crumby training and faulty systems, they are doomed to failure before they even start to try.

Pharmacy is normally excellent, BUT the front of store is terrible ! Forget trying to reach them on the phone .... near impossible ! ! just got my RSV shot here. All the pharmacy folks were helpful. However, they were out of stock last week when we arrived for my wife's shot! How about a call or email telling us to reschedule ?? 50 minutes wait for a scheduled shot this week.

I cannot say enough good things about the pharmacy staff at Riverside, from the pharmacist down to the technicians/aides in the amount of space google gives. They are all very courteous friendly and accommodating just to begin with. And their text updates are spot on. I have never come across anyone here who was having a bad day who inadvertently took it out on me. Most importantly I feel I’m in good hands with them, especially the pharmacist, in the sense they won’t let a prescription to be filled if there’s a conflict with another. Lastly I’m never waiting very long in line. Before I get a chance to read an email or whatever they have my prescription in hand. I couldn’t be happier with this staff! CVS are a dime a dozen in my area, but I’ve had so many problems with them in past.

Terrible experiences at this location. Inability to process insurance correctly resulting in overcharged co-pays, inability to communicate effectively, inaccurate text notifications regarding medications to pick-up, understaffed pharmacy counter, staff turnover, etc. A few months ago, a prescription was inaccurately filled - luckily, I caught it before taking the wrong dosage. The only reason I have to use this store is because my insurance company says it’s Express Scripts or Walgreens and Express Scripts is worse! If you transact here, exercise extreme caution and check everything 3x to make sure things are accurate.Update on 12/7: 1) Auto-refills haven’t been refilled. 2) The store was going to charge me $400+ for a medication I usually pay $10 (and when I pointed this out, I got an “ooops” from the store. Not the first time this has “conveniently” happened! So beware, this store seeks to price gouge to inflate its profits. 3) Website incorrectly reflected prescription status on insulin so now I have to wait for a new prescription (and am eating meals without my insulin). Abysmal service continues. SOS!!!!!

Pharmacy is terrible. First, they make you yell out your name to them across the register, then you must yell out your Date of Birth in front of all the customers. They even ask you to yell out the medication you’re looking for. I mean YELL, not quietly lean in and speak like in a library. I’m pretty sure this violates HIPAA rules. They often misplace prescriptions because they haven’t figured out to put them in one place. And more than a few times, I’ve received a notice that a prescription is ready to be picked up, only to arrive there and it’s not. Several times they didn’t even have the medication in the pharmacy after being told it’s ready for pick up. Currently on 4th day of waiting for mine to be filled. Completely unacceptable to me.Finally, while waiting for a prescription to be filled (that was supposed to be ready), while seated, they will take others in line BEFORE calling you back to the counter AFTER you can clearly see that the prescription is ready, forcing you to wait much longer than you should, as they let people ahead of you.Everything you could possibly want in a pharmacy is lacking here, and no one seems to care enough to fix it.

They don't honor their Covid 19 vaccination appointments here. Both times I got my vaccine, I had to wait half an hour beyond my scheduled appointment times before they called me in despite me showing up early. On both occasions, there weren't a lot of people waiting either, the people who are supposed to be administering shots are just messing around in the back while everyone is waiting. This location is horrible anyway. Every time it rains, the area of the parking lot which is right in front of the entrance floods.

This has got to be the absolute highest level of incompetence i have ever seen. 8 visits to pick up 2 prescriptions, and they're still not ready, not because of any insurance issue, just straight up incompetence. Definitely switching back to my old pharmacy, driving an hour there will still be worth it!

Poor service. Only reason I come to this pharmacy is for the photo service and after this experience I’m surely never returning. I ordered 4 x 4 prints on a Friday afternoon. The order said it would be ready by 5:25 p.m. I didn’t receive a notice saying it was ready until the next day. Not a problem. I didn’t need it urgently, so I thought nothing of it. I roam the store looking for someone to help me, no one to be found. And this occurs every single time. I finally find someone who says he could help me. Jerry. He then gets my prints and says he can’t check me out at that register because it hasn’t been used today. Laziness. I have worked retail before and I know the only reason he did not want to check me out is so he wouldn’t have to count one extra register. Now I have to wait five minutes on line after having to roam the store and find someone to help me. I get home and open my prints. I then discover that my 4 x 4 prints are printed on a 4 x 6 paper. So now it’s a huge inconvenience because not only wasn’t it ready when I thought it would be, now I have to spend even more time cutting these prints myself because the service I paid for was not done properly. Huge disappointment.

My insurance advisor recommended a RX plan with Walgreen's. What a mistake. Nine out of ten times, there is a problem with filling my prescription. There can be five people behind the pharmacy counter and they will still make you wait. They do not communicate problems and are not nearly as proactive as CVS. Can't wait to switch plans.

The Walgreens Store in Riverside, CT is a nightmare; the Pharmacy once again is disorganized and unprofessional. 90 day refills are not filled and God help a customer if you question a pharmacy team member as to "why." Shame on Walgreens for not maintaining a professional level of customer service and permitting inadequate store and pharmacy management. Walgreen's customers in Riverside, CT deserve to be treated with respect and the urgent problems must be addressed by Walgreen's Corporate immediately - or the the store should be closed!

I cannot recommend this pharmacy to anyone. For some reasons my faxes seem to always encounter problem. I wish that they can also make a follow-up call to make sure the prescriptions are being processed correctly.

This pharmacy is a joke. Don't go there. My Doctor called in a prescription and it took 3 weeks to fill. I went back to pick it up 3 times because they kept saying it would be in the next day, and then when I went back they said it didn't come in. This happened 3 times! Then I asked them to call me when it came in so I didn't have to waste my time going there. Of course they never called, and when I called to find out where it was they said it came in 5 days ago. Pathetic. They also screwed up running it through my insurance. Stick with CVS, never again Walgreens!

I had to go to this pharmacy because my previous pharmacy was closed due to some reason. The pharmacist (Ajmal) working was so welcoming. He gave me my medicine within 15 minutes. this was my first experience and im really happy that i went there. As Ajmal treated me so nicely and professionally, im permanently switching my pharmacy to this branch of walgreens. Keep up the good work Ajmal. I hope to see you again whenever i come.

Many year's ago, this Walgreen's Pharmacy location use to be great but over the past few year's it has been on the decline! No empathy from the Pharmacist named Brian and he's way to slow to be working at such a high traffic pharmacy! I hate going there and I've already moved my meds somewhere else!

I finally had to leave this pharmacy after getting somebody's prescription instead of my own filling my prescription with the wrong amount of pills and then blaming it on me, The from then on I always check my pill amount in a 90 day supply they only supplied me 30 you have to wait forever in they are rude. Calling corporate has not helped. This is a company that just does not care and I know from being in line that I am not the only one that this is happened to please be ware

The pharmacy dept is horrible. They put you on hold for 30 mins at a time. Then hang up on you. Only once you get the manager involved is there anything resolved. Also the lines are ridiculous at the pharmacy and there is no communication amongst staff members.

Corporate should hired more people just to pleased the obnoxious customers, Everytime I walk in there everyone is very friendly the store is clean and they are helpfulSadly people only review when they don't get their way. Called about a refill rejection (confusion with 30 day supply have 60 tablets), the man on the phone was not very friendly and ended up hanging up on me . . . I felt like a huge burden when I just needed my prescription . . .

Very bad service. I waited 45 min for someone to answer the phone to see if my medicine was ordered.I don't think anyone checks their messages. I finally had to complain to the. manager to get my medicine.
