Just noticed the recently posted review of GA and I to was there on Sunday 10/19/20 and have been a long time customer of theirs and I have to say, I thought the selection was refreshing, lots of quality stuff good variety considering most of the world is shut down from collecting along with COVID restrictions, staff was awesome Liav was super engaging, Matt was great and knowledgable as well. Just to add some context I have a large 300+ gallon reef tank build into my foyer wall, I have seen and had every kind of fish and coral out there, I was walking around trying to decide how much I wanted to spend reminded my of my days as kid when I first got into this hobby. My expectations were exceeded!!!

I visited this shop on my own personal aquarium tour and was not very impressed. The display tanks looked okay, but a lot of fish appeared to be sickly and skinny. I thought with 4.6 stars I'd be impressed, but I feel like I get more assistance at my Petco in Jersey in Brick Township. I didn't really get the experience I was hoping for and should've skipped this shop and kept driving north. If an employee interacted with me maybe I'd feel differently. I cannot understand how someone even purchases a fish from this shop if employees aren't helping customers.

This store is one of the best fish stores I have ever been to. Lovely set up and great staff that work there. The quality of fish are excellent. I bought 6 discus fish and they are doing amazing. The cost was very affordable compared to other fish stores that I’ve been to that sell discus. Definitely would recommend.

These guys are the best...Used to have a very large reef take ( 300 gallons ) but recently got back into it with a small nano. I get the same high level of attention from the store staff even though I am a smaller customer now. Great rolling inventory and probably the most important reason I am giving them 5 stars..They are extremely knowledgeable, honest, and stand behind their product time and time again. Best in CT.

The displays are the best of any aquarium store I’ve been to. They have everything you need there and are extremely helpful. You’ll get full service help from beginning to end. The store is clean and smells nice. Even though it’s far from where we live, we prefer to go here.

Every time i visit this place, no matter what dumb questions i might have or when picking out fish or corals, they always have an answer for me and are always willing to help. Great group of people. It's very nice, reminds me of a place back up where I used to live. They have a nice selection, especially for a store that's fairly small, and the animals and plants look healthy. The employee that helped me out was nice.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!! Today I went to look at some fish and was very interested in the big Plecos the store was selling. The employee at the store told me that the Pleco I wanted was in a display tank. 1. why would you have a tank just for display and not to sell at a fish STORE? 2. Then I pushed the employee to try and convince him to sell the pleco to me. He said that he could possibly “try and get the pleco from behind the display rocks” and I said yes please. He then repeatedly said that he would be unwilling to move the rocks to get the pleco multiple times. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. This was my first and last time at Aquaria and I will never return to again. My loyalty lies with Fish Bowl Pets in Stamford and House of Fins.

Miss u guys! Such a great place. We used to have a big tank and would literally come like once a week to hang out and talk to everyone, they were so nice and polite, even when we cleaely weren't about to buy something again. Absolutely the best place around!!

Fantastic and reasonable Aquarium store for freshwater and marine reef tanks. They have an ongoing wide selection of fish, corals and goods as well as a full service that will cater to your specific needs. I have been to almost every aquarium store in Fairfield county and some may have great selection but unreasonable pricing or very sparse selection. Greenwich Aquaria has tge balance of great customer service, selection and pricing. Just go online for a little while to familiarize yourself with prices and you will be shocked at what some of these stores will get away because they locate themselves in very expensive areas to justify their target market and pricing. Not criticizing anyone's business strategy but Greenwich Aquaria serves to a more realistic and wider target market. Ask for Evan, he was consistently good about knowledge and service. No pressure, no judgement but plenty of attention to your questions :) If you are in the Fairfield county area, this would be my number 1 choice before others. My first stop is usually here now. They also have great sales events where they took off as much as 30% from my total!! Get on their email list. They only emailed me to announce sale but otherwise I got no spam.

This place is really falling apart. I love supporting small businesses, but greenwich aquaria has really taken a turn. The store really doesn’t have the same feel that it once had. I get that times are hard right now but it feels like the workers have really given up. It’s a shame to see this place going down hill.Edit: I tried to give these guys another chance last week, but am still disappointed by their lack of selection and professionalism.
