By far, this is the best groomer I have come across! April is absolutely amazing!! She is very patients, thorough, and has a tremendous knowledge regarding pet care and grooming. I was very impressed not only by the customer service provided but also by the shop. Everything looks very chic, clean, and organized. The environment was very welcoming, and Buddy seemed to feel right at home. I fell in love with his haircut, and we will most definitely be returning regularly.

My dog Tito absolutely loves April! She’s passionate about what she does and you can tell she’s an animal lover by the way she treats your dog as her own. SoNo Dog Grooming isn’t like other salons that rush through services just to fill time slots and make money. April’s first priority is to make sure your pet is comfortable with her so they trust her and let her work her magic. Tito is a 95 lb Rhodesian Ridgeback who doesn’t like getting his nails cut – the first few times I brought him to April, I offered to hold him on the table while she grinded his nails down. Just recently I came back into the shop after his bath, expecting to do the same, and she had already trimmed them herself without any help (which if you know Tito, this is a big deal). He was calm and relaxed and let her do his nails without a fight. April takes pride in her work and always makes sure Tito leaves looking/smelling better than he did when he got there (sometimes with a fashionable accessory as well – see photo with bow tie). Would absolutely recommend her services to someone needing a new groomer in the area!

April is THE BEST! We call her the dog whisperer -she is so good with our two pups. We’ve got an older (and very stubborn) Jack Russell Terrier and a younger (very skittish) Chiweenie. Both love April and always look and smell amazing when they come back. The best part is, April only takes one family at a time, and the dogs never have to wait in a crate. Highly recommend!!!

I always had an issue taking my baby Zeeke to the groomers - he was always shaking and never wanted to be left at the groomers - I kept on looking and changing groomers to find one that Zeeke could be relaxed at and did a good job - finally a friend of mine found Sono Dog Grooming and finally I found a place that Zeeke loves - April is amazing with him - He doesn't shake when I walk in the door to drop him off, he loves being there and being with April. Thank you April for giving my baby a place to feel safe and comfortable and you always do an amazing job on him!!!

I have 4 dogs with 4 different personalities and temperaments and April has a special way of making all four of them calm and happy while they are there. I have recommended her to so many people and they are all regular customers there as well and all have had great experiences. I will never let anyone else groom my dog. April always does the best work!! Their haircuts are the so nice and they smell amazing!!! I could go on forever but when you go in - it’s a good feeling that you had to just experience to know what I am talking about.

April is just simply amazing! Second time going to sono dog grooming with our dog Riley and we are so happy with how she looks! It’s so hard to find a good dog groomer who takes their time and is thorough. April always asks how we want the cut to be, her suggestions or concerns and always does the best job. She truly cares about your dog and wants them to have a calm grooming experience and she has definitely succeeded with our dog. We won’t go to any other groomer! Highly recommend!

I took my new little puppy to SoNo Dog Grooming last week and I have to say it was the BEST decision ever! April the owner new exactly what to do as I was unsure because he is so little and young but April took care of everything! She was very sweet, accommodating and my puppy loved her! April is the best!! Brought our little puppy in for her first grooming. Sophie is usually rather shy and felt at ease at SoNo Dog Grooming. Not only was she a happy little pup when we picked her back up, she also looked absolutely gorgeous. April took more than 1.5 hours just for our little dog, making it a real wellness treat for little Sophie :)

My dog loves this place. April is an amazing dog groomer but more importantly, she provides such a personal touch and friendly interaction with my pup. They just go crazy about seeing each other every time. 🙂 She is very patient with my dog, doesn’t seem to rush the process and always ensures that the fur cut is satisfactory. She treats my dog with love as her own pet, and i am sure dogs sense that love and energy. Highly recommended.

She takes such great care of them, is gentle (I have a senior girl with health issues) and professional. They come home looking and smelling wonderful. My wife and I give Sono Dog Grooming our very highest recommendation. April began by meeting with us on June 10 to explain what she was going to do and to answer our questions. Meanwhile she was getting to know our American Eskimo and building trust with her. (She had never been groomed before.) When we picked our little Mia up that afternoon, not only did she look beautiful, but she was happy and comfortable, and she was clearly smitten with April! It was a wonderful experience, and April is a kind, understanding, and talented groomer.

April is amazing and wonderful with my 12 year old Pug Eda. My dog gets very nervous when getting her nails done and April was very patient with her and made her so comfortable to get them done. She only does one dog at a time so your dog won't have to wait in a cage. It is like your dogs own personal spa day. I recommend SONO dog grooming to all my friends and family members. You wont be disappointed.

April is AWESOME! My dog Pepper just loves her! He gets excited to go to the groomer which has never happened before. She is kind and gentle and he loves the one on one attention she gives him during his services! Pepper is her first High Roller which is the grooming program she has so that he can get monthly baths and unlimited nail clipping and teeth brushing! He looks amazing all the time and I get tons of compliments on how good he smells and how soft his coat is! I am so happy I found April! Pepper is a happy doggy! :D

He's not used to going to the groomer but she was patient with him and took as much time as needed which we really appreciate. I brought my pomeranian in for grooming last week. April was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. When I picked my dog up, she was happy, looked beautiful and smelled great! My nine year old Yorkie has had great experiences here. I groomed him myself for eight years, as he was terrified of groomers and clipppers. I decided to give this place a try and I am glad I did! April is patient with my anxious dog, and he has improved immensely over his visits there. Soon he will be dragging me there on walks! My Dog ( Tater) was was completely bed ridden for 4 months after a surgery and once he gained some strength I needed a groomer that could come to the house and be patient, gentle,kind,loving , since he was not able to stand much and had to be handled gently. ( at that time April was doing in-house service)When I say I got so such more with April, I'm not exaggerating!!!!She spent 6 hours at our house grooming my dog..giving him all the breaks he needed,accommodated his every need , working around him as he couldn't stand for long, be on the floor with him.....I was left with so much gratitude. She even came the next day for an hour to just finish as after 6 hours of grooming Tater was very exhausted. She insisted that she will not like to charge for it as she just want Tater to look his best :)I was beyond words at how kind she is.I bet she was in back pain for days after that grooming;)Its been 2 years now of April and Tater's friendship:) She is absolutely the best and you will walk out with a smile of joy.She will discuss your grooming needs in detail before even beginning, will suggest if certain haircut will look better on your dog,she has a clean and well organized facility in Sono Downtown now and uses organic products.I will highly recommend her. You will be sold for life!We can't be more happy that we have a groomer for tater that is his friend AND THEY HAVE FUN TOGETHER WHEN HE GOES FOR GROOMING! :))))

My shih tzu Louie absolutely loves being groomed by April! He loves her so much! She does an amazing job. Not only is she an incredible groomer, but she gives so much love to the dogs.
