I've been a invisible fence customer of Ridgefield Pet for 25 years and 4 dogs. Never let me down....had an issue with collar yesterday...stopped by and 5 minutes later Will had me out the door with issue fixed.

I tried to buy from them 2-3x. Staff is so so unfriendly. Two young girls who worked there basically wouldn’t stop their conversation to help me.Place by birds is not clean.Prices high IMO.Petco a much friendlier productive experience. I just saw this response from owner and I appreciate his/her words.Owner contacted me to make things right. I respect that so I added a star.

If I could give them more than 5 stars i would. These guys are always friendly and helpful, and the store has good quality stuff.We bought a Pet Stop electric pet fence from Ridgefield Pet maybe 10 years ago and it has worked flawlessly for the most part. The line has been broken one or two times and they have helped us get it fixed up ASAP. This past week a thunderstorm fried the electronics. But, because I was using the lightening surge protector (which did cost extra) they replaced my unit no questions asked. That is spectacular.I might add that I have to drive 25+ minutes to get there but its worth the drive.

Ridgefield Pet is a great place to get many quality pet items - they have a knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff. Ron , the owner, is always available to answer questions and make good suggestions -including on pet services available in the area. I have been going here since the early nineties and have always felt this is a pet store run in the way a store should be run

At first great.....now they suck. They don't respond to phone calls for service and when you're dealing with a broken electric fence, it's important that someone responds so your pet doesn't run off the property. Found another dealer who responded right away and came out for same day service. Maybe if Ridgefield Pet had stuck with animals and stopped expanding into landscaping and generators, they wouldn't have lost a long time customer!
