Great sandwiches, good neighborhood type place for groceries and ready made meals.UPDATE: We've been neighbors and supported this local business for a number of years. We understood any issues during the pandemic and have really tried to be forgiving. Bottom line, they're not attentive to customers orders and yet feel justified in charging the same price for less than what's represented on the menu. Examples- order called in. Go at time specified to pick up order. No line. But the hot sandwich we ordered is nowhere to be found and workers are chatting with others. We finally get the now not warm order home and it's not correct + things missing. Disappointed. New order of a Happy Hummus for someone on restricted diet. Asked for twice the hummus and said we'd pay extra. Get it home and there's literally less than one and a half tablespoons of hummus on the whole sandwich. Not okay. We'll be going to The SandWedge for our sandwiches from now on. Further away but dependable.

Fantastic deli with many wonderful options combinations and customizations. Staff was super friendly and the ingredients where A+ and preparation was A++. Definitely a must stop for lunch

Redding is so lucky to have this wonderful little market with its huge selection of fresh prepared food. Nice people work here and and the food is excellent! They also have convenient grab and go options. I wish I lived closer to it!

Cute place with it's own personality. Inside and outside tables. Even a counter where you can sit and order milkshakes. Coffee was delish and tasty breakfast wraps.

The new owners have done a terrific job with this little place. Both the quantity and quality of beverages and food has tremendously increased, as well as the customer experience. This is one of the go-to quick-bite places in Redding, frequented by locals and visitors alike. Not very well known is the fact that that they offer full dinners, cooked on-site daily. Breakfast sandwiches are always ready and delicious.

I love this place! The most delicious chicken cutlets and the best bread around. After getting used to New York delis this place is like an oasis. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious! Try the tacos and burritos too, everything is so good.

Great food! Good selection of sandwiches & meals. Fresh salads. Big selection of staples (milk, etc) for quick "on the way home" shopping. Also carries hand made items from local artisans - big selection of face masks in all sizes now.

I really wanted to give this place 5 Stars. All of the staff are very nice & helpful. But the food is a hit or miss. I had a bunch of different sandwiches, The Cubano, The santonogali, The Firehouse, & The Godfather. The santonogali was ok, Cubano was alright but the firehouse & godfather were not good at all. I also had ordered 4 beef empanadas and the insides were very cold on all 4 of them. The best thing this place has is their milkshakes. But I’m not a fan of the food. Just my honest review.

Pignones is like an oasis in the desert, from a food trade point of view. It is one of the few places we find food in the vast Redding region. On site it is possible to find some products and fishing articles or for your safety and for your home. The service is very good.

Great place to go if you want to grab a quick bite to eat. Food is on the pricy side but portions are large and all very good. Service is great too. Real great local place to go. Perfect spot to go before, during, or after any High School event.

CUSTOMERS SERVICEVery nice people but foodOrdered 2 bacon egg and cheese over the counter. Went to pay before getting them was asked if i called about ordering them. I said no i just ordered them over the counter. Saw that there were to sandwiches on the counter and they were their before i ordered. Saw the dude i ordered with and even cooking my food looking over at me while they were talking about the 2 pre-made sandwich Food was cold, food was very dry by the time me and my brother ate, it definitely not sure about coming back or suggesting cause thats shows bad customers service. I literally literally live mins down the street i rather go to the Sunoco gas and go to Mitchells the opposite way a few mins more.

Stopped in after a hike for some well deserved lunch. My girlfriend and I both ordered daily special sandwiches, the santangeli for myself and the 7-11 for her. The two of these had to have been the best sandwiches we've had from ANY deli in a long long time. BRAVO!

Is this place the GOAT sandwich shop or what? From the Twain to the General Putnam, Pignone’s is Yum Zone 5000. Delicious. And you can get deodorant there if you need some. Seriously though, the sandwiches are awesome.

Cool Little market with a deli inside making some seriously good food. Get the (pernil) roasted pork shoulder. It is succulent. Another hit was the cubano (cuban sandwich). My personal favorite from this place so far

Outrageous 18.00 sandwich,soda, small potato salad... not worth itThank you owner for the response 4 months later.Of course I saved my receipt, what a joke of a response.You should not have said anything.Now I know unless you live in Redding, you are worthless.I hope you tradesman as i am boycott this useless, ripoff of an establishment.I can't rate you any lower then one star unfortunately.
