They also fired me while I was on maternity leave after 10 years there so needless to say I’m a little salty. But that’s just how Walmart is. I like picking up my groceries so I don’t have to go inside but I try to avoid it if I can

I always have shopped here but, I was followed around by someone. I bought 3 things. He followed me through the store. Every aisle. I mentioned it to the cashier was told I'm sorry but it's his job. I'll spend more to go to Target to not feellikea criminal. It's not the first time that Putnam has been bad. Expired butter, I told them in December had an expiration of August. In February still on the shelve. Someone finally removed it. After I pulled it and told them again.

Putnam Walmart has got to be one of the most clean, well organized and has nicer employees than other cities or states I have shopped at as I have been to a lot.The greetings you get when you enter the store, the helpfulness of clerks when you need assistance. The variety of in-stock items available as well as how clean the store is and shelves organized and maintained throughout the day and night.All Walmart stores need to visit this one and see how it operates and clean up their own stores.

I was very impressed with their produce, I found it was very fresh and plenty of it. The rest of the store was well stocked an clean. I also found several of the workers to be very helpful and pleasant.

God forbid you go to the register to buy trading cards. The old lady who always seems to work on register 14 is the most miserable human being I have ever encountered in going to a Walmart. She should be fired the way she talks to customers. Lady you don't own walmart so stop trying. Never going there again rather drive 100 miles that step foot in there again.

This was one of the largest Walmarts I have been in. So very neat and clean. Many items to choose from. (Bigger selection is probably a better way of putting it)

If I didn't get asked about a receipt all the time it would maybe have gotten 3 stars. It's a normal walmart, nobody wants to help you and nobody seems to care about the customer.

Not providing bags but charging for them helps the planet, sure, let's keep falling for this lie. This Walmart is annoying in every way... Having an employee come up to us, while we are still scanning items and saying she doesn't see the item as scanned?! Well maybe if you wait for us to finish, you will see it. Ridiculous.

I have the benefit of being not only a customer, but a vendor that delivers to this location and the staff here are amazing. They do a fantastic job. The store is organized, clean, and they are nice people to deal with. Having a great attitude makes working or shopping here a great experience every time. Thank you, I enjoy shopping here and always look forward to coming here for deliveries because it's always so smooth.

⚠️ Public Service Announcement !On 09-19-23 I went to Walmart for a few things. You would think that shouldn't cause any issues, think again. I accidentally forgot one of my receipts at the register ( sorry Walmart I am disabled). Upon exiting I was stopped by the " greater" & it was implied I was I was stealing. I was not ! Instead of going to cashier to confirm my purchase, I was forced to do the "walk of shame" to customer service for a copy of the receipt. DON'T NOT FORGET YOUR RECEIPT ! Walmart do better!

This was my first time at this one. It’s pretty big. The food section is huge and have everything you’d want. The home goods section had a good amount of items. I didn’t really go into the electronics section this time but walking past it I thought it looked like the rest of them. I ended up looking for a lawn mower. At first I couldn’t find one. They had weed cutters and the normal tool department but I had to go outside into the garden center to find them. They had an electric 21 inch. It was the last one left and cost aboard 450 bucks. Not bad a price I think. I used it for the first time today and it was well worth the cost. The thing starts right up without issue and stays running. The battery lasted about an hour and I was cutting a lawn that hasn’t been cut in over a year. I was very impressed. I’m sorry I forget the name of it. It’s the blue on with white writing on it. It came with the bigger battery and a charged. I’d recommend it.

This was the 1st time that I was so disappointed in the garden center... At the register Paid for 9 bags of dirt... 4 were very heavy... Nobody showed up to help me load them in the truck... And then on top of it all the dirt I had paid for didn't exist... I had to go back into the store and go to a different department reimburse me .... That could take up to 10 days to put back on my card....This is the 2nd time this has happened... If the dirt doesn't exist outback... Then the person at the register should be notified...!!Management should be more aware...!!

The whole "green" thing this country is doing, is to make companies richer not because they care. Very irritating getting to the register and realize there are no bags. People from South America used to tell me "you guys are lucky, at least you have shopping bags in stores" well, not anymore, we are as bad as they are now.

I love Walmart, but can we please just get someone that knows how to work the paint department. It seems like a pretty specific job that you probably shouldn't send just any available employee to do. Cuz now I've been sitting here for 30 mins just waiting to get one gallon of interior, semi-gloss, bubble bath blue mixed...

Walmart... Come on... you always find what you need at Walmart....This one is kept clean and pretty well stocked. On my most recent visit, it reminded me of how much the people who work there make it what it is. The Putnam Walmart has some of the friendliest, most helpful people in any Walmart I have been in. From the greater, to the person in the pharmacy that helped me with an insurance issue, to a person stocking shelves who stopped to help me and took me to the places I might be able to find the item I was looking for. I just wish they could find more of these people so they could open more registers. I hate self check out. Hate, hate, hate it.

This Walmart Superstore, in Putnam, CT. Is the most cleanliness during the 2nd-3rd shift hrs!!!(3:00pm.- 11:15pm.!!!) Especially, the Bathrooms!!! This cleanliness makes such a more pleasant visit, Especially, as a Mom who needs to change her baby's Diaper!!! R.P.
