Went to Putnam for lunch this afternoon, love coming into the town of Putnam. Have been wanting to try Nikki's for a while now, ended up getting a couple burgers which were delicious, a large fry and a shake. The town has so much to explore and some very beautiful architecture. If you have the day to explore definitely want to make your way into Putnam. 👍

Great place to get some steamed bun hit dogs. Been around forever, so you know they have to be doing something right. We stood around for a little while before we got someone to take our order, but once she came, she was super nice. Have really good hot dogs and a good selection to choose from. It is located in an easy in and out spot in Putnam with lots of other walkable places a bout. Good summer, place to grab some ice cream as well. Think I prefer Famous Frank's a little more due to their butter grilled buns, but you can't go wrong at Nikkis.

Nikki's is pretty great in a good location with an old school vibe. Love that they have vegan dogs. That's what got me in there. My only complaint is the cilantro. It didn't mention it on the menu for the item I chose, must have been a slaw ingredient. I hate cilantro.

A local staple with not only classic food done well but delightful and fun specials throughout the week keep you coming back. A large menu offers food for everyone, every the pickiest of eaters. Highly recommend the tacos and of course the coney dog. Grab food to go or stay and enjoy downtown Putnam.

Since bought out the food quality seems to have gone down significantly. The burger was thin and over cooked, mozzarella sticks were oily and had no flavor. Seems they went a cheaper route. Not to mention while sitting down to enjoy our food that took 30 minutes to come out the employees were ragging on peoples tips for “only leaving a couple dollars”.

Whenever I get a day off from The Sunshine Shop with the kids and I have to figure out what to do for lunch, Nikki's is always a great option. Delicious food at good prices, a fun atmosphere for the kids. They love the train, and of course the hot dogs 🌞 Thanks Nikki's for being a great local business, we'll keep coming back and telling others about you 🌞

A bit pricey for a snack sized dog but tasty. Real issue is waiting 35 minutes for two dogs. Not like the place was super busy.

Great place for the family to eat. Hot dogs, hamburgers, fries, and even some of the more old school menu items. There is a train for the kids to watch, and cartoons always running. Quiet little corner of Putnam, within walking distance of many of the shops. No longer Cash only !They take credit cardI have been eating there since before my dad passed away, and bring my kids there often.Ate there again today, the food is still amazing, as expected. The renovation and new menu looks fantastic.

Great variety of food choices, so delicious. Friendly staff, it is usually pretty busy for take out and dine-in. Awesome atmosphere, there is a small eletric railroad cart system that runs through the whole restraunt and even has some diner style stool seats for if you choose to dine-in! Overall great experience and I would definetly reccomend for anybody who enjoys a good food/hotdogs backed by a great dinerish experience and anyone who has not tried or been here before!Kid-friendliness: Friendly staff, great kid meal options and a awesome small eletric railroad cart system that is going through the whole restraunt while you eat and dine or even just to watch the small eletric train while you order and wait patiently for take-out.

I love eating at this place when I lived in Putnam but now I live too far away. I loved the coney island hotdog and the hosmer mountain sodas. I would order 4 hotdogs, lol not to eat all at once, and a couple soda every week in the warm months.

Having been going to Nikki's for over 30 years. Great Coney Islands. Good basic food, clean. Always stop in when I am in town. When my son was little, he loved the moving train set overhead- still does.

NO FLAVOR AT ALL !!i was so disappointed when I ordered the ooey gooey hotdog and all it came with is a sad piece of cheese. Spent 35 dollars on 5 hotdogs is crazy I understand the prices are up but that’s breaking the bank for a disappointing meal. If you guys need tips on better dogs let’s get in contact.

We walked in 3 minutes before they closed. They were kind, courteous, and didn't try to rush us along. They invited us to eat in but there were plenty of tables outside. We got our meal to go. Our Coney Island Dogs were delicious. The fries were great as well. This small town business is worth your time. Definitely coming back.

Definitely nothing spectacular. Visited today from MA (where Hot Dog Annie’s is the ultimate Go-To) and was disappointed. To start, there is only 3 parking spots. Yes, THREE. They are obviously taken so you risk being towed if you park in the adjoining lot or on the street, where it says “No Parking Allowed.”Entered the business and ordered my food- 3 dogs and a small fry about $10. I would say this is reasonable.Got my order number. However, the cashier gave the same order number to the guy behind me.Waited about 20 minutes and my order number was called out. The guy that got the same number left with my food. Told the staff, and had to wait another 10 or so minutes.Got to my car and left so I wouldn’t get towed. Went down the road to find that my fries were still frozen raw. I was off-put as the guy making the dogs didn’t have a mask on. So all my items were a bit weary for me.Decided to throw out the food and go someplace else. It’s worth the extra 15 minute drive to Hot Dog Annie’s.

We went to get Coney dogs for a quick lunch. Ordered 3 dogs, small fry and split one soda. Bill was $17.42. Gave the clerk a twenty and put the $2.58 change in the tip jar. $17 seemed high but we haven't been there in a long time and prices everywhere have been going up like crazy. Food is good but $17 + is too high for 3 dogs, 1 small fry and one soda.

Average dogs and tiny outdated place. Not worth the money for dogs much better restaurants within walking district. Old restaurant to afraid to come into the new world.Vegetarian options: Poorly made tastes like dog food. Need to look into some recipes.Parking: Relatively no parking

Always excellent food here. Been coming here since I was in school well over 15 years. Great service and always clean. I love the train that moves around the ceiling of the sitting area of the restaurant.Parking: Parking can sometimes be tough, but in lovely area so walking isn't bad, see local stores.

Just stumbled upon this little eatery I was hanging out with my daughter for the morning, wanted to grab a quick bite for my trip back. I ordered the Gyro omg so good, fast friendly service, with a great selection of options, prices are very reasonable. They even have cutest old fashioned train that runs across the walls. I will definitely be stopping back here .

I moved to the area 20 years ago and have only been lucky enough to eat here and for this place to be open ONCE. The limited hours and days open severely alters any plan to eat there. I don’t understand how they are still open. I’d go back if they were open later into the evening. I’m sure they won’t cuz the Vape store next door has people double parking in front. They could make some money if they were open more often. Dogs were good though.
