I receive texts from this CVS stating prescriptions are ready only to show up to be told they are out of stock. It generally takes 2-3 trips and 2 phone calls to get 1 prescription. But what really bothers me is the complete lack of customer service. The women that work the window are rude and blame it on the automated system. Are they going to blame it on the automated system when my husband doesn’t have his life dependent insulin or other medications? Take some responsibility! Absolutely unacceptable.

Every interaction with the pharmacy has been a nightmare. They do not communicate or return calls regarding issues with prescriptions. It took several months for them to straighten out a medication that I needed, and it was not due to my doctors office... CVS just kept dropping the ball. My insurance only allows me to go to a CVS so I was unable to move the prescription. The staff is incredibly rude and 1 of the pharmacists loves to be condescending to some people. She has not been to me, however every time I visit she is to other customers. I understand that staffing shortages along with horrible customers has taken a toll on them, however I still expect at the very least professionalism. I do not consistently want to hear inappropriate conversations about their personal lives while waiting in line. General conversation is fine... I mean we all need to stay sane in these trying times. I just don't need to know who hooked up with whom, and where, especially in front of my kids. I will say that the other pharmacist has been lovely and she clearly isn't part of the problem.

Worst customer service experience ever!! Pharmacist was rude and not helpful. I simply needed droppers for my sons liquid medication and this was a HUGE inconvenience to her. If you’re looking for a new pharmacy; I would NOT recommend the Putnam, CT location.
