My experience was wonderful ! My girlfriend & I just visited the Oxford Ct store & immediately was greeted at the door! The store was being stocked so they were busy working the register & unpacking the items yet 1 of the workers Mo was very helpful, courteous &was very very helpful & polite! This Dollar General was very well stocked and looked very well taken care of. The cashier was super nice and helpful when I had questions about using the app for coupons, she was very patient with me since it was the first time I had used the app and had trouble loading my digital coupons. The cell coverage is spotty so she suggested I use the store guest WiFi, which solved my issues! If you haven't checked out the Dollar General app you should, they have really great digital coupon deals that make the cost of what you are buying even more affordable. (I got a large bottle of the new Snuggle fabric softener for just $1 by loading a digital coupon and shopping the weekly sale. The bottle said it does something like 56 loads of laundry!)

Despite some push back from the community this has been a great addition to the town for me. I go at least once a week to grab milk, diapers or some rock salt. I like that it is a small store and I am in and out quick. Staff is always friendly , prices are fantastic and there are always coupons. Only reason not 5 stars is because one item I always need is cream and for some reason this store never has any in stock.

I love all The Dollar General stores. I found a lot of great food items that I went there for. This one was low on alot of things probably because of its popularity and location. I enjoyed the shopping experience and bought some nice garden things. Can't wait to visit again.

Usually I’ll go here for a few quick things because it’s convenient but i feel like walking through an entire Walmart super store and self check out would be faster than walking through the Oxford Dollar General. I usually grab 2-3 items and it usually takes me about 20 min to get out of there because there’s only 1 or 2 people working and no one is ever at the register. Half the time I have to yell across the store “can someone check me out? Helllooooo?” and that’s when someone comes running out of the break room saying “sorry sorry sorry”. Tell that worker to put his weed pen down and work. I almost don’t wanna walk into that establishment ever and don’t get me started on the looks of the store. Bins everywhere, boxes everywhere, U boats blocking 8 of 10 isles. I recommend AVOIDING Oxford Dollar General.

Love this store. It's awesome having a Dollar General in Oxford! The help is very friendly and courteous. They are always willing to help. Esp the manager Jay. My mom goes her almost every day!

They have a good stock of things found everything I needed. The salesman where very helpful and helped me carry things to my car and putting them in my car. I am disabled and they went out of there way to help me. I really appreciated them.

The staff is exceptional. The manager Jay is very professional and the store is easy to shop with items clearly priced and a very good selection. Manufacturer coupons excepted and DG app gives you more savings.

The store is very neat and tidy, well organized and the staff we interacted with was friendly. The 3 stars reflects my disappointment with the lack of items at the $1 price point. Maybe that is indicative of this particular chain, but needing to check pricetags on everything (items that could have been only a dollar at a different franchise were $1.50-3) became tedious. If you're looking for bargains, this could still fit the bill for you.

They should get their prices set to the amount of the items. Never fails when I buy something A few of the items always ring more than the price shown. Sometimes I catch it and other times I don't. It's convient for me to go there but getting overpriced is not right. I am pressed for time and space so I really cannot say everything I want. Most of the men are okay to deal with. As far as the females most are very snobby. I am living on my income month by month. I try to save money by going there and get very upset and frustrated.

Great store but the employees need to realize that its a small store and we could hear everything they were talking about. It was not work appropriate and the language they used was uncalled for.

It had most of what I needed. Except cheap bath bombs. 3 for $1 is great! I like to use them in the kids bath.Needed a rug doctor too.

What a hot mess w/ all the U boats all out in the tiny aisles. 2 people can't even get down in the way UR store in oxford CT has it set up. I can't shop in chaos for stuff. 😣

This place is WAY overpriced for a dollar store. Their prices are no lower that regular grocery stores or dept stores. They do have a lot to choose from and carry name brands but their prices will make me stay away.

Convenient location on state route 67 (Oxford road) this is the main east/west route through town. Newer store with tons of items at great prices and it's on a road with lots of other shopping choices.

Everytime I go there I'm surprised at the variety of things they carry. Good place to buy household items like detergent and paper goods.

Visited this store on April 17 and was not impressed. The store had unopened shipments on each end-cap, was rather filthy, and smelled like cigarette smoke.
