Walmart doesn't water their plants and then when a paying customer is willing to buy a DYING plant they REFUSE to discount it!!! The plant was $4.97i was willing to pay $2 but was told they don't discount plants!! They discount everything thing else in the building but won't allow a discount so a plant lover can TRY to save it. Why sell plants if you're not going to water them?!!

Don’t go here at night, I went here on 11/19 at 6 and whatever manager that works there is an ahole. I asked him about a price because what was on the shelf wasn’t the same thing online. So I walked around trying to find a different associate so what does he do, he follows me around telling every employee not to honor the price online. When the guy scanned the product on his phone it wasn’t even the same thing I was showing him. Don’t go here they don’t honor their own companies price posted online like they are supposed to. Never had a problem price matching at any Walmart besides this one.

There's two exits/entrances as well as two sets of cashiers for this Walmart . Be careful of where you meet up with your group. It's quite confusing. The staff is not helpful at all, they couldn't even scan a coupon right. Prices also seems higher than other Walmarts. Do yourself a favor and go to a supercenter instead.

This store needs an upgrade! It also needs a new purchasing agent. Always runs out of supplies. Photo store ran out and I did not get my cards on time! They run out of bags constantly and their refrigeration area is down multiple times a year. I'd say atleast 6 times a year or more! some of the managers also need attitude checks. Instead of telling customers deal with it, and I don't know if you can get your money back (even though its stores error), they need to hire better! improve quality of store and plan ahead to ensure stocked appropriately!

By far the best Walmart I have ever set foot in this Walmart has products and local round styles I've never seen anywhere and any Walmart in Connecticut.+ Cute checkout attendent+ Cozy shopping environment+ SUPER LOW PRICEaEverything is always on sale all the time at Walmart and Warwick p Rhode Island be there be square the only thing I don't have is my favorite Asian Tokyo massage parlor located on the corner built into the bathroom in the back corner of the East parking lot but hey we can't have it all can we?

We shop on Monday mornings because of our work hours. At 7:00 your staff would be blocking some of the rows. But now you open at 8:00 so I guess that gives you workers the right to be rude and there are more of them. Finding what you want is hard and just recently 1 staff member said hello. The management is the worst. Unfortunately your the only department store around. Don't ask if you don't plan on fixing it

I am trying to buy Cologne and have asked 4 different associates for help. At the end of waiting for 20 mins. only 1 associate followed through to have it called out on the PA for a jewelry associate required. After 10 more mins. I asked 1 more associate who finally went to go get the key to help. After a 30 min. wait I was finally help. Your Old Saybrook store really needs help in customer service. This is horrible.

Love the selection of plants for gardens. Walmart, has a contract with Bonnie Farms. Bonnie Farms produces seedlings for garden like veggies and some flowers. This Walmart lets said plants sit out, on hot asphalt parking lot without regular watering. Most die off and are sent back to producer. Costing the store and producer. Not impressed. Bonnie Farms will be informed.

The space at this Walmart is very deceiving!. From the parking lot, there is a small entrance in the corner smushed between other stores. you could literally miss it. but go in and it expands 100x. good merch and friendly staff.

Though there are people who do not like huge retailers like Walmart, I am not one of them. Though I do support small business. Walmart's prices for similarproducts sold In other retail stores are less expensive, providing value for most people. They sell a wide variety of products which I find convenient. I find that the employees are generally friendly.The environment is clean and their return policy is very reasonable. So my experience with Walmart is generally excellent.

All self checkouts. When I asked if I get a discount for checking myself out I was told I can give you a job. Also could not buy more then 2 give cards on a transaction at Christmas time. Also two rude employees Jeff a "manager" and Heather a cashier. Also had LP watching over me like I was a thief. But yet last week had thousands of dollars of Legos walk out back door. But I am a criminal for not wanting to check myself out and buy more the 2 gift cards at Christmas!!!

Old Saybrook Walmart. With OS having such a large older population, it is bordering on cruel to not have a single cashier checkout available for your customers. Utterly painful to watch our elders struggling w self checkout & zero assistance for them.

I drove out here to Old Saybrook from the Norwich/Groton area - everything there is always out-of-stock for the Better Homes & Gardens products. In particular, I went to three different Wal-Marts to find the "cream" colored, 13" Fabric Storage Bins and the Norwich, Groton, & Waterford Wal-Marts didn't have any (see below picture). It took me having to drive out to this cute Wal-Mart in Old Saybrook to find what I need. The store is clean and the employees were nice to me. There's this hard working gentleman pushing carts, but I don't know his name; I noticed he was very hard working - give him a raise guys! Anyway, thanks for the great experience there; I like that cute plaza ~ it has an 70s/80s Iconic Nostalgia to it and it's quite refreshing 😁👍.
