We were in Old Greenwich and made a stop at Kings for some essential groceries and we were pleasantly surprised by the selection of groceries, the cleanliness of the small market, and the incredibly fresh produce! For a small market you don't always expect the best fresh vegetables but Kings was by far better than the local large chain markets in our area. If you are in the area I would absolutely recommend a quick stop here for your grocer needs!

The anatomy of a rip off… I’m retired after spending 30 years in the food industry. Acme owns both kings and Balducci’s…Acmes Business model, which is perfectly fine. Is we sell products that are close to expiration or product grown with the cheapest fertilizer, etc… Nothing illegal in that,. They sell product cheaper than most because it’s at the very bottom of government acceptable level… Now Kings and Balducci’s were high-end gourmet style establishments… You paid more, sometimes a lot more but you got the very best of product…. Now you’ll see the Acme truck delivering to both establishments. It’s the very same product sold at Acme., but marked up sometimes 40% or more at these two stores. I’ve lived in town for decades years ago, these were truly gourmet stores, not anymore. It’s the exact same “stuff” That Acme sells 7/10 of a mile away but 40% more lol

Kings is a local gemstone with great fresh produce amazing floral choices and a fair variety of groceries.The staff is very friendly and helpful. If for some reason you can't, they will pack your order and take it to your car.This week they introduced online ordering with curbside pickup - DriveUp & Go as well as home delivery.

A great local grocery store that carries just about everything you need. Hours are working family friendly (open late into the evening), and selection is very impressive and high quality. Prices can be a bit higher than the local Shoprite, but convenience and quality does have high value!

Their fruits are freshest in town. Their buffalo chicken wings are one of the staple for summer bbq in my house. Deli staffs are always accommodating when something is sold out.

Use it or lose it! This is a quality grocer. Love the produce and breads especially. Awesome deli section. Tremendous choice for a relatively small storeReminds me of the grocer in the small town I grew up in. Would like to see the management personalize the experience more.

No possible social distancing! Employees jamming the aisles, the sign says should be only 30% capacity, place was packed with like 130% capacity. Customers with loaded carts lined up down the aisles waiting to check out. In order to get in line you have to go all the way around to the back of the store and then judge which aisles are right for one way and stand there with all other customers waiting while other customers shopping squeezing by you. And the arrow tape on the floor has been removed so no one knows what to do. Funny, they kept announcing through the load speaker about social distancing and staying 6' from each other, what a joke. This store is a complete disaster and terribly risky, if I didn't have COVID before, I probably have it now. Not shopping there anymore!

Higher prices but convenient location as the only grocery store in Old Greenwich. I wish their store baked bread items were better. We were also disappointed with the lack of knowledge at the seafood counter.

Clean & neatly merchandised store with a nice produce section. Prices are higher than the chains but this place is convient and no fighting with crowds. You get treated as a customer here.
