The wait is unacceptable. They can’t even get my prescriptions filled. I haven’t had one of my meds filled since Dec. 2023. You’d think they would fill it them in the order they received the requests but they don’t; they only submit it for people who have the time to call multiple times a day. We’re all just another number and there’s no real human concern for their customers.

Let me start by saying I don't blame the workers in pharmacy. But CVS is absolutely awful. Beyond awful. They refuse to pick up the phone now for anything, so I can't even get my prescriptions moved, my Dr has to call in new orders to a new pharmacy. I can't wait 7 days for a prescription to be filled. The lines to actually speak to a human being are insanely long and then they randomly close. It's unacceptable that a business continues to be run like this.

Excellent staff doing their best for the company and customers! The current staff needs at least $10/hr pay increases to incentivize increasing hours. In addition, there is a need for corporate lien changes to increase workflow efficiency at pickup and drive-through. Plus there are needs to decrease Readyfill demands which turn into return to stock demands which is overwhelming the staff. Thank you to all the amazing understanding customers!!

The people working in the pharmacy dept deserve our patience. What corp does to them as well as the customers is appalling. They are so short staffed that again the pharmacy didn't open. Now tomorrow these unfortunate people will be doing two days plus work. I really hope cvs appreciates the amazing people thy have at this location and gives the a huge holiday bonus. The deserve it since cutting costs has made the communities lives difficult.

I actually do have a question for the pharmacist - "What is wrong with this business"? I encourage everyone to call 1-800-SHOP-CVS and complain about their horrendous service.I have been on hold for 2 hours with the Pharmacy to ask them to fill my medication that I am completely out of. This should have been filled 2 days ago, but they told me that the Pharmacy is "a week behind" on prescriptions. What a joke.

Jennifer is a great asset to the staff. Friendly and helpful.I wish you would cut the hedges back that are on Davis St. they block “line of sight “ as you try to come out into traffic.

I would prefer to give them 1 star if possible. I have never had such poor customer service. I called last week to see if my prescription was filled and I was on hold so long that I drove from Middlebury to Oakville and waited in the drive thru line for 10 minutes while my call was on hold, just to find out they did not have my prescription. I just called today to check on my prescription and decided to hang up after being on hold for over 15 minutes.I'm not sure if this is a corporate issue or and on-site management issue but I'm pulling my scripts and moving them to Bunker Hill Pharmacy. The poor customer service is probably a result of corporate greed not wanting to staff-up appropriately and not the fault of the onsite staff who are asked to do the work of several people.

It's December people are sick your pharmacy drive thru needs to be open. Hire more staff or give your techs some overtime. Pay people better and you'd have more employees

Pharmacy is rough.My prescription was not coming in on their order. Was told to wait 2 days.I drove there after the 2 days and was told its not in call back in a few hours.But I cant call back because of the awful automated messages. It keeps telling me to download an app. Then why tell me to call back? Because they actually don't care to help me. Just to push me away and not deal. Thanks.

Customer service sucks after I was told we have the meds it will be ready in 30mins to come back I sat and waited with my sick babies in the car in the cold to save me from bundling them up and bringing them back out drove to the window an hr later to be told sorry I thought we have it it’s out of stock check back tomorrow after 4pm mam my son is sick he needs them maybe u should of said so before hand so I can arrange for his dr to send it there well if u like u can go to the other branch on Main Street I think they have it in stock like seriously u think not even sure every time u come there for over the counter meds is a silly excuse so pissed 😤😤

Barbara is so rude. I feel like she hates her life and takes it out on customers. I cannot believe she is still here. I hate giving bad reviews but she is so miserable to deal with. I usually only come here when I have to. She makes the experience horrible.

Nice enough people, but they never seem to be able to move the pharmacy drive through along. I’ve been sitting here for literally 20 minutes. I’d go in, but I have sleeping children in the car. If there is an insurance issue/refill issue individuals should be told to pull around and come inside instead of holding up the whole drive through.

The Dr called in the prescription to this location, her choice not mine. I went the next day to pick it up. Someone named Jonathan was having difficulty even finding where he had put it. I expected it to be filled since it had been 24 hours. Then he mentioned he didn't have something. In my experience, when a pharmacy doesn't have something, they order it and receive it rather quickly. He said to come back in 10 min. When I went back he said he called the Dr who ok'd the substitute, said he spoke to the nurse. I mentioned there is no nurse at this office, he insisted he spoke to the nurse. Well, when I got to the office the Dr was upset that this was NOT what was ordered and I needed to take it back, stunned because "they order this there all the time." Well this interfered with the evening and following day plan of administering meds. When I looked at the prescription to call the pharmacy, I noticed a completely different Dr's name, address and Phone# on it. No wonder Jonathan talked to a nurse, it was the WRONG place! When I explained, he argued he was right. no apology, no offer to get it corrected. I suggest you stay far away from here if you want your prescription filled correctly.

We were actually kind of forced into going to the Pharmacy when our insurance changed and we really had no other option. The 4 times we've been, there was always some kind of dumb mis-understanding, mix-up or just general mind numbingly ridiculous interaction with someone. Birthday mix-ups, wrong names, prescription not ready...you name it, they covered it.Beyond the Pharmacy itself, the rest of the place is equally miles under par. Non-sensical aisle layouts, long lines with just one cashier and an overall SUPER sketchy clientele. We've since decided to drive the extra few miles to avoid this place and that was a smart decision.

This pharmacy is the worst I’ve been to. I went without 2 important medications for WEEKS because in their system they had my name spelled wrong. My doctor couldn’t figure it out, and the pharmacy kept blaming it on my doctor’s office, which put me in a difficult position to continually get on their case for something that wasn’t even their fault! You’d think a light bulb would go off when the 2 prescriptions that I’ve been searching for have been sitting there in their bin for weeks with a name that looks and WHOLE LOT LIKE MINE...? Nope, apparently not. Due to this ridiculously idiotic mistake, I went through severe mithdrawal symptoms from having to go without my antidepressant. Symptoms including dizziness, nausea, vomiting, weakness, panic episodes, etc. And I had to start my birth control cycle all over again because I was without it long enough for it to leave my system entirely. Not to get too personal, but without my birth control I have severe back pains and clotting. So basically, I was going through withdrawal symptoms and the worst menstrual cycle I’ve had in years ALL because my name was misspelled. Hire competent workers, please....

Drive thru is the absolute worst you will ever experience. Plan on sitting in line for min 45 min- 1 hour, just being car # 2 terrible….one lane has been out of service for a year.

Worst pharmacy ever. Incomparable people tell you to come back in an hour. You come back 2 hours later and they still don’t have it ready. The prescription is for a person who had a full mouth extraction and is in severe pain. To make him wait is an injustice. Much better to use local pharmacies. Sad!

This has to be the worst CVS I have dealt with and unfortunately I've been to many for medications. It starts with the ridiculous driveway/parking,etc. The pharm techs are ok I guess, some not too educated about how things work. Didn't follow directions and complicated matters for me in one case. They don't send fill texts promptly if at all. Just overall not helpful or friendly. This is with the exception of one pharmacist who came from Meriden Rd. He is exceptional!!! They have a lack of so many products in store that I can find in other CVS stores. No major prob w the front counter.id say steer away if u can.

I had an appointment set up for covid testing but II had a terrible experience I was testing my 5 years old but the person at the drive through window was very rude and rushed the instructions . Even so was my first time she gave me the kit for do it your self and rushed the instructions had no sympathy I'm dealing with a toodler and that I was testing in a parking lot . Very poor set up do not recommend this place at all specially if you are Hispanic .

A solid store and pharmacy. The staff in both main areas (store and pharmacy) are professional and nice in my experience. No it's not a 24 hour pharm like the one on W Main in Waterbury, and the store itself may be a bit smaller , but not by much if it is. Went to get a script xmas eve and was filled in 20 mins.

I cannot believe how disgusting the bathroom was in this Oakville, CT store! OMG! I don’t usually use public restrooms but I had no choice as I am a laryngectomee. ( breath thriugh a hole in my neck), and rather than have a coughing spell in the aisle because of the dusty shelves, I went to use restroom. Well let me tell you it was FILTHY! The toilet, floor, sink and even walks! I went in coughed, tried to wash hands with NO SOAP THERE, and came out and did not even finish my shopping! If I get sick now I will be seeing an attorney! Never again! CVS MERIDEN RD WATERBURY IS THE BEST ONE!

Recently ordered reprints of photos from my home computer for my daughter to pick up. They arrived at the store on Nov 8th but she went there twice and they could not find them. I called the store gave them the order number and they finally found them. When she picked them up they looked like they had been dragged thru the mud and half of the pictures were ruined!

Went to pick up a prescription that was called in 4 hours prior. I was told by very rude staff it was not ready and they are a whole day behind! Really! It would be one thing to wait... but to wait and be treated with disrespect is another story.
