We got our sweet boy from this breeder. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a golden retriever. We just had our vet visit yesterday and Toby has a perfect bill of health. The vet even said he doesn’t often say that about pure bred puppies. Toby is so wonderful, and we are so happy. The process was easy, great communication too from Dom too.

We just put down our beautiful boy Buddy , who was diagnosed with renal dysplasia at nine months old we got from this breeder. His chip number was 45 and he was born on July 1, 2020 and we picked him up August 28, 2020. His parents were Lily and Buddy. We didn’t read the reviews until after the fact, and by then we were already in love with this dog, and would never ever think of returning him, and we did the best to take care of him but I just wanted to let people know he sells terminally ill dogs. My heart is broken and I would hate to see any other family go through this ordeal. It cost us thousands of dollars to keep him alive and well and we would not have traded him in for anything because he was such a good boy, but it was a horrible experience. He was my first dog and I only got to be with him for three years because of this terrible disease. This person should be shut down. He has a puppy mill and doesn’t care about the dogs or his customers. Heartless and cruel to not be careful if you’re selling sick dogs. Would never ever recommend this breeder to anyone.

We had a great experience, Dom was very accommodating and we were able to come back multiple times to play with the pups. He made the entire process stress free, was very reasonable and we got the best dog. Our pup is a beautiful golden, he’s great with our young kids, easily trained and very healthy. We are so glad we found crane hollow & highly recommend them!

Dom is A fur baby expert!! His focus is on quality puppies that go to good homes. He is a caring man, that is protective of his litters and the parents. Sometimes people come second, because of his love for the puppies he is responsible for and the commitment he has to the pups. Don't take him the wrong way he has a heart of gold.

Buyer Beware. We put a deposit on a puppy in September and were assured that we would have first choice of a female for Daisy’s litter. Made the trip from NY to visit the pups on November 20 and were told that we would be contacted when it was time to pick up the puppy. No date was provided, just told that we would be contacted.Never heard anything from Dom until I contacted him yesterday, “must have been a misunderstanding” but we could have the last female left or get a refund for the deposit. I elected to get the refund which was promised within 30 minutes. Still waiting. To say that this is a poorly run business is an understatement. The breeder was dismissive when we visited and did not give us the time of day. The negative reviews on this site are spot on. Very disappointing to say the least.

While we got a great dog from this breeder I would never recommend them. Our puppy was sick when we got him home and had several infections from unsanitary conditions. The pack of breeding dogs were all outside in the freezing cold and there were many, many litters. This is basically a puppy mill. Please do not support.

This breeder needs to be shut down. Do not support this puppy mill. No doubt dogs are beautiful English Creams, however, they have mental disorders that are genetic. I purchased a puppy from them three and half (3.5) years ago for $2500.00. My dog was born on February 28, 2018. She has extreme anxiety, skittish, and aggressively attacks other dogs, sometimes humans. She has hurt other dogs and people. And as she ages she gets worse. I have spent thousands of dollars on obedience classes, behavioral specialist, vets and mental disorder medications. Unfortunately, my dog's condition is genetic and the only help is to keep her away from dogs and people that trigger her. This means no walks, going over to friends houses, or people coming to my house. That is not a life. Its very sad. This breeder is all about the money not the temperament of the breed. TRUST ME. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BREEDER. I have a serious issue on my hands with my dog. My quality of life has been destroyed along with my dogs life.

So far, so great. Our new friend is a lovely sweet dog. Smart and so far healthy. He has a great apatite and seemed to be fully healthy at 6 months old. I was never going to buy at a store, but it was impossible to find what I needed at a rescue. We are grateful with Crane Hollow Goldens.

It's a shame they produce such beautiful dogs, to be such rude people. I had some of my clients recently interested in moving forward with visiting places to see dogs, temperaments, etc. They were interested in purchasing a dog, but wanted to meet mom and dad first, or at least explore the bloodline and have a conversation with the breeder.I called to set up a meet and greet and was quickly told "um no, this is not a petting zoo."Bad, bad, bad business. I would have sent plenty of people there, but never EVER again. & I will certainly make sure to steer people clear of this place. Sucks to suck.

CAUTION: WARNING: AVOID: PLEASE READ.They sell and broker the sale of unhealthy puppy’s. We found out our poor pup has renal dysplasia 8 months in. When I called regarding the “health guarantee” that they will promise you, they fought and argued with me and ultimately said the dog is not from them. I have paper work, text messages and even called the vet that put in the microchip before we got her and it traces right back to them.There is a good reason you cannot comment, review, or post on their Facebook page. Note that any reputable Breader allows that. They are trying to hide people from exposing them. I did research after this experience, which I wish I did beforehand, and it is VERY clear that this is not a reputable Breader and that they should be shut down. I don’t care how bad you want a puppy AVOID this Breader.If you’ve had a similar experience please share and report them.

If I could give this place no stars I would. I called Crane Hollow Golden Retrievers seeking an adult dog for my boss and his wife. At fist the owner Dominique said he did not have an adult but right after he offered me a dog named Tara. I made an appointment to meet Tara who Dominique claimed to be two years old and very skiddish. He promised nothing bad had happened to her but he did tell me she was not house broken. He also claimed through conversation and on their website she had just given birth to a litter on Oct 29th. The next week we drove to Meet Tara. She was very afraid. He had to practically drag her up the hill and upon meeting us she was cowering. She would not come and was not responsive to being petted. She was absolutely stunning. We asked Dominique what he wanted for her and he claimed he wanted $2500 !!!! We knew the price was high but did not know he was completely ripping us off! We gave him a check and he promised that he would send the papers in the mail. It is now three weeks later and I have no papers. He claimed he put the papers in the mail and they were probably "lost". The dog totally freaked out. She had never seen the inside of a home. Had no clue what a dog treat was and cowares everyone someone walks in the room. If you get to close she paces and looks for the nearest exit. She shows no emotion what so ever. I'm not sure what happened to this dog but we have spoken to Dominique on several occasions and told him we believe she was being neglected. He has denied any such treatment. We also told him we believed he over charged us and he offered for us to bring Tara back and swap her for a puppy. He gave us a piece of paper with her birth date on it and it said Aug of 2016 making her 18 months old. He bread this dog and she was less than two years old then took her away from her puppies at around 3 weeks and sold her to us for $2500!!!!I am beside myself! I do not recommend Crane Hollow to any one !! We will be taking the proper steps in making sure this guy is not running a puppy mill in his barn in the back of his house. He totally took advantage of us and I do not believe that this guy should even own dogs if this is what he is producing.

We bought a retired breeding female from this place a few years ago. She's a beautiful, sweet dog and we love her, however, she is skittish and anxious to the extreme. It's pretty obvious that she was kept in less than ideal conditions in the past. These Google reviews, the better business bureau website, and recent news reports seem to confirm that.

Went to view his puppies (clean area in garage) as he had three litters available. When I asked to meet mom and dad, he called a bunch of dogs over and introduced them to us. There were four females running loose on their land and they seemed happy enough. My horror came when he walked us to the barn/garage area to meet the dad. We walked around the corner right into an open area with about 20 absolutely filthy crates full of adult dogs. I almost burst into tears right then, but held it together - there was another guy and girl there and they were taking one of the males out of his crate as he was to be taken to the vet ( his story). The dog was very hyper and I'm assuming it was because he had been freed from his crate. However, when the guy yelled at him to settle down, the dog immediately hit the ground and cowered away from the guy. I have never seen a puppy mill, but I believe that is exactly what this guy runs. PLEASE reconsider if you want a Golden puppy...the only way to stop these abusive breeders is to not buy from them!

Sells puppies with Giardia and doesn't take responsibility. Tells complaint boards he sells all puppies with health certificates which is a lie. Imports puppies illegally and is operating as a pet shop without a license. He needs to be shut down as it's obvious money is more important than the health of the puppies and dogs. If you bought a puppy between January and March/April and has tested positive for Giardia and/or he was selling the puppy for another breeder, the State ACO would like to hear from you.
