Since moving into this area late April, I’ve been hard pressed to find any decent take out. Today I stumbled upon this gem. I ordered two entrees, Cajun shrimp and Pasta, and Chicken, Broccoli Alfredo….OUT OF THIS WORLD AMAZING!!! Nice big jumbo shrimp, not the tiny little shrimp that you normally get, and so flavorf. The Alfredo, was almost as good as homemade, and the broccoli could not have been cooked more perfectly, I wish I could give th10 stars. After almost loosing hope that I would ever find decent take out, I have found me new go to spot. Kudos to you Oakdale Pizza!!!

Love this gem of a place! The owner is so humble and always very nice. Try the fish and seafood stew in house so good 😊 and the fried mushrooms 🍄 a lot of places don’t offer them 🤤Kid-friendliness: Staff always polite and accommodating!

The menu never changes. They won't accommodate you if you even wanted to change the littlest thing. Prices keep going up but the quality does not. Pizza is okay but not good the next day. The fried mushrooms are pre-frozen- awful. When we complained - the waitress said that the owners were out of town and we would have to take it up with them when they came back. We still had to pay for the terrible mushrooms even though we did not eat them. I also don't appreciate the waitress being caddy and talking horribly about the customers. Who are locals. She is not.

I went to Dr. Peter when I was a kid when he first started when he sought up on the hill and then that was the time when they lost the place though but then they went down the street so now they’re doing better but they’re still keeping the business alive but we still I still like the pizza my mom my dad likes a pizza my brother he likes to pizza everybody else in the family loves pizza so we just wait we just want to say to them. Thank you for making the place 100 years more. Keep doing what you’re doing and everything else so you guys take care and God bless

Great food for great prices! The workers there are super friendly and the boss was very nice as well. Highly recommend trying them out if you are in the area.

The food was delicious and I would highly recommend the Taco Pizza. It literally tasted like a taco loaded with meat, sour cream, lettuce and tomato!The service wasn't what I am used to when it comes to a family style restaurant...the employees seemed unhappy and it reflected back at the customers. Normally, I would chaulk it up to a bad day. However, I have only been to this restaurant 5 times and each of those times, I have received that same service.In short, the food is delicious but the service needs to be more smiles instead of frowns.

Perfect pizza! We ordered Hawaiian and White pizza and the crust is soft on top and crunchy in the bottom. Not greasy, not salty. Just delicious! Wonderful and accommodating staff. You can dine in. Face mask required except when eating and social distancing is observed. I highly recommend this place.

Great pizza, always tasty sauce a delicious crust. Mozzarella sticks and wings are also good. Check regularly on specials, they are always great. The phone may be busy, bot it's worth the redial.

Stopped in while in the area on a friend's recommendation. The food was excellent as was the service. The ingredients were fresh. The only disappointment was the chicken fingers which were pressed chicken. The potato pizza was very good and they use great bacon. We'll be back the next time we're in town.

Had a lovely and delicious. mixed greens salad with a generous portion of grilled chicken. I asked that it not be marinated but plain and I was cheerfully answered "yes" and it was perfect!!! My assistant says the pizza is "Delish!"Thank you, Oakdale Pizza for being in our neighborhood and for offering consistent, delicious food!!!

A staple in the Montville community. Family owned and operated since the 40s. The food is great, huge portions. Staff is friendly and always welcoming! The restaurant is clean and well maintained. I have been coming here for decades. If you're in the area it's worth the visit, you will be satisfied. Oakdale Pizza also has been a supporter of the community sponsoring youth soccer, little league, and the Mystic Schooners baseball team.

Have been a customer for 30 plus years. The y have a great menu with salads, pasta, pizza, grinders, etc. They also have beer. This is family run and has a nice atmosphere. My favorite is a Chicken Ranch Pizza (chicken, ranch dressing, bacon, Red onion).

Ordered a large pizza during this virus situation. Very friendly and understanding staff. I waited in my car across from the side door. She waved me in when my pizza was done (1 customer inside at a time). Excellent pizza. Highly recommend.

I loved my eggplant parmesan grinder! The size was just right. I enjoyed a Homer Mountain Strawberry soda which really hit the spot. Morgana was an excellent and attentive server while not being overly present. I will be back!

I feel lucky to have such good pizza in my neighborhood. As well as great salads, burgers and pasta entrees. There's more, but I haven't gotten to the whole menu yet.

My son and I were in town for a baseball tournament and ate lunch here. Everyone was friendly and food was good. Definitely recommend.

My son called and order 2 Hawaiian pizza, one extra pepperoni, one cheese, so much money for nothing, $75.00, well... flavor it’s ok, bottom of the pizza seems undercooked, the Hawaiian pizza had not enough ham, just some pineapple (keep in mind, cans of pineapple are cheap) but yeah, just few pieces of pineapple, the sauce wasn’t cover with cheese like it’s supposed be, only cheese in the middle of the pizza, I have pictures, extra pepperoni pizza..... we couldn’t find the extra pepperoni, we actually thought that they went diet style on the pepperoni, nor the extra cheese, cheese on top of the pepperoni.... really??? And with this one we have the same problem, not enough cheese, sauce was uncovered, cheese pizzas seems just whatever I do not recommend this place to get your food from, to much money for what you get for it

Favorite place. Annie's grilled chicken salad is perfectly delicious. Love the taco pizza and tuna grinders. Best of all are all the people who work there and of course Annie and Simone 😀

The food is delicious, and I have no complaints about that at all, but yet again our order was messed up tonight! That’s like 33% of the time messed up! I don’t want to order, go home, return, wait and go home again because someone messed up a simple order!
