New to town, tried to get meds delivered. Started @ 2 pm telephoned every 2 hours..finally got thru at 8:50 pm. Was then told they don't deliver after 9pm, I ended up taking an Uber to 8 my scrips because I needed to take 2 of them that night. Worst customer service and even worse Pharmacy techs! Yuck! 🤢

Rude staff with horrible attitudes. Tone of voice, eye rolls you name it. Takes forever for them to pick up the phone if they even do. Countless Medication excuses as to delays or why they can't and won't fill valid prescriptions! It's beyond annoying. It's dirty and run down. The list goes on an on! I would give them zero stars if I could! 100% such a horrible establishment! Sick people deserve to be treated with dignity and compassion not be subjected to this abuse!!! 100 %

Reviews should be on a -5 to +5 scale. Walgreens would be at a -5 for me.Had already had a bad experience and was looking for a new pharmacy. Thought Id give them another chance, that was a mistake. They now have had a prescription I've been waiting for going on 3 weeks. I called and said you've had this for 3 weeks and I've been out of it that long and you just never filled it? She told me it must have been forgotten. This is for a muscle relaxer, imagine if it were someone's heart medication.The staff just stand behind the counter joking around with each other and making the customers wait until they finish their story to their co-workers.Bad, Bad, Bad. Avoid!

The pharmacy staff are always so kind and understanding. They work hard and put upwith so many rude customers professionally. People don't seem to understand that these are human beings trying to take care of medications and make sure everything is right. While doing that they are handling so many other tasks. Just watch them and you will see.

I forgot a few travel items that make life just a little bit better. Deodorant, face wash, face lotion, etc. Walgreens had it all and didn't break the bank. I got the travel size version and I'll probably toss them before I leave. Clean store and friendly staff.

One of the worst pharmacies I had to deal with. On hold 35 min just to be hung up on and be out back in line. If it takes 30 min to handle 3 calls you need better technicians or more pharmacists. Do a return call back if you can't handle volume calls. I use to work in pharmacies bigger than Walgreens and never handled customers how this store does. Very unprofessional. Managers are no help at all.

Walgreens Washington Street is my GO-TO store.Friendly staff, lots of new faces which is GOOD 👍. One of the Managers could use a few courses on how they could benefit from being kind to their staff. I have seen these interactions, I can see the fear or embarrassment in the employees face. We all have issues that we struggle with. One of a Mgrs primary (many) goals is to treat others as they want to be treated. Great for moral, ee's will respect that and work harder! A little kindness goes a long way. I have been told and have said "Check it at the door"One more thing, please don't make the cashier's responsible for answering the phone. If they are assisting a customer in front of them, they should be told to let it ring ! We can see you and are interacting with you, the caller cannot!Someone else can be of assistance or they will call back ! Drives me crazy! Simple logic. This occurs at many stores not specifically here!Love ❤️ my Cashier's @ Washington Street Walgreens !

First was told the reason my prescription still wasn’t ready days after the doctor put it in is because only one company makes the medication and it’s hard to obtain. It said in process on the website every time I checked, then one day it was just gone. I called and waited over 30 minutes to speak to the pharmacist. Turns out the medication needed a prior authorization and they never reached out to the physician. After that they finally got the authorization and I received an email stating the prescription was ready for pickup. I arrived and they told me there was nothing in their system. The prescription was not ready and I needed to wait for them to fill it. When I asked why they sent an email saying it was ready for pickup if it was not, the pharmacist said “we don’t send those out, it’s an automated system.” Okay, then why did your automated system send that if it wasn’t true? “Don’t know, you’re just going to have to wait becaus it’s not ready.”

This is perhaps the worst and most poorly run drug store on planet Earth. My insurance company has insisted several times that I switch from my wonderful locally owned small drug store to this hulking sloth of corporate inefficiency. NO WAY! Resist at all cost. I have never seen people take a half hour to do things that should take seconds. I will never return and you shouldn't either.

This is absolutely the worst run Walgreens in the country. First off the pharmacy is insanely slow. The average time per person in the drive through a well over 10 minutes and sometimes over 20. They lose medication, are rude and talk down to people.

I normally have no issue shopping here until today. I went in and got my stuff and went to checkout. While the girl was ringing me out, she looked at one of my items and asked me why I would pay so much for it. I didn't know what to say other than I need it and that brand is expensive. She proceeded to ask multiple times why I would spend so much. Walgreens, please have your staff not do that as it makes things uncomfortable. Unless they are offering a better price, please don't make your customers feel like this.

I am prescribed the same medication every single month, on the same day of the month. Dr called in my medication on Tuesday to be picked up on Friday.When calling to see why I hadn't received a text message saying that my meds were ready, I was informed that they were on back order and that they didn't even think that they would be in the over the whole next week.A phone call during the day when I could have called my doctor, and had them sent somewhere else would have been a lot more convenient, something called customer service. So that will make 3 days without my medication and I am not supposed to miss one dose, and no it can't be transferred. End rant

The store itself is fine, the pharmacy is the problem. The pharmacy was never very good, just convenient for me, but lately they have been getting progressively worse. In the last few months they have stopped updating prescriptions statuses with anything meaningful. For 2 months straight they have not had enough of a medication I have filled there almost every month for the last 2 or 3 years and I've had to wait on a delivery. This month they randomly decided one of my prescriptions (with 4 refills left) was unfillable and I had to have my doctor's office fix the issue. Lastly, if you ever have to call the pharmacy, expect to wait on hold for at least 15 minutes before talking to anyone. I would highly recommend filling your prescriptions elsewhere.

Di and the team at the pharmacy were so awesome and helpful with getting me the prescription I needed while visiting town. They were very helpful in getting the emergency refill override from my insurance, finding the lowest possible price, and making sure I had the medicine before it became an emergency room visit. All-star team. Thank you, Di and team!

This is the worst pharmacy out of all the Walgreens I've ever been to. Don't waste your time trying to fill your prescriptions here. I recommend going across the street to CVS instead. My wife had a prescription for nausea medication when she was pregnant that they would not fill because they said they could not read the script. Which was totally legible by the way. Anyway, they said they would have to call the Dr and would contact us within the hour. Three hours later they still hadn't contacted us and I went there and they told me they didn't get a chance to call the Dr yet. So I took the script back and went across the street to CVS. Ten minutes later I walked out with my wife's medicine. This pharmacy is ridiculous and incompetent.

Waited 25 mins behind ONE CAR, no apology, was told be with u in a min. I was not nice or happy. Instead of apologizing sincerely n diffusing the situation I was told they weren’t gonna help me if I was disrespectful. Absolutely ridiculous. If someone needs that much time, they should be asked to go in. It’s not right at all. I just had a regular prescription, that took one minute to pick up. They should have apologized profusely, n said they understand, that shouldn’t happen, whatever they need to say. Instead of ma’am, ma’am, I’m not gonna help u if ur disrespectful,, seriously

The pharmacy is terrible. They are rude and don’t know what they are doing. I switched from cvs to walgreens 5 weeks ago because I switched doctors and every single time my doctor sent in my prescriptions there’s been an issue. My doctor sends a link to my phone showing that he sent them to Walgreens but the pharmacist at Walgreens says they never received it. I’ve been waiting over an hour today just to get my medicine. Last week it was 5 hours. I recommend going elsewhere if you can. Save yourself the hassle and frustration. They deserve 0 stars. Never had an issue with CVS!!!

Every single time I fill for my elderly stroke patient, this Walgreens messes up something. They either forget to fax one of her prescriptions, fill the wrong medications, fill medications we don't even need, and have even been confused about generic versus brand name, thinking they didn't fill something they did because they didn't know the generic name. This makes care-giving a nightmare. I've had prescriptions waiting for a week with Walgreens excuses of "we're waiting for doctor's approval" but when I call the doctors office they tell me Walgreens never sent it over and over and over again.My patient is high risk for stroke or heart attack by missing her meds at all, has over 20 of them per month, and this is what this Walgreens will put you through to keep someone alive. Pathetic.

WORST customer service ever!!!! Employees were extremely rude and demeaning! Lisa is the worst one there. She snatched what I had out of my hands before I could even finish what I was doing. She had a snotty attitude while dealing with me. She should be fired for how awful she is. No matter how happy you are with her she’s just rude! Don’t go here. They aren’t worth your time.

Waited an hour on hold listening to that idiotic music, only to get hung up on. Whenever I call, minimal hold time is 30 minutes. Staff is rude, I think they are overworked, and in general the pharmacy is short-handed. Still because of hold time and staff rudeness, can only give it 1 star.

Walgreens used to be great! I’ve been with them for 12 years but I’m switching pharmacies because every week I have an issue getting my meds...today I’ve been waiting for them to just fill my script for about 10 hours now twice I’ve called and been told it would be ready in an hour that was 8 hours ago...this medicine needs to be take. On time and I get sick without it. I’ve had it next prescription i will go to cvs. So sad. What happened Walgreens?

This pharmacy stinks. 8-10 people working and they still made us wait nearly an hour for our appointment. Then the girl giving the shot clearly had no idea how to deal with a child. Don't advertise as taking children if that's not the case. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Pharmacy Busy all the time, Whether it’s inside or ( supposedly drive thru) is suppose to be quicker, says who? The Pharmacy is making the whole store miserable, Pharmacist aren’t available, Staff back there are immature And never know anything, Breanna is probably the only one who actually takes her time to explain, But She is only one person, So heads up, Go to Stop & Shop, Not 24 hours But, Your treated more like a guest and not a order number, So sad!

Very rude lady. I called the pharmacy back to confirm authorization while my boyfriend was there to pick up my script after I missed the call and the pharmacist was VERY RUDE. She sounded very annoyed and responded “fine” and hung up. Cannot believe the rudeness!

I only patronize this location out of desperation, as it is the closest to me. I have not yet had a good experience. The staff is rude, the pharmacy is understaffed and ridiculously slow. Currently waiting after dropping a Rx for post surgical pain and antibiotic medication 3.5 hours ago.The worst Walgreens Period.The girl at the drive thru was nice

Absolutely terrible. Had surgery on my hand 1 day ago. Dr puts in a script for pain pills. Go to get it filled after surgery. Lady tells me it’s gonna be fifteen mins, 45 mins later a guy says are you waiting on something. Tells me it’s not in and comes in tomorrow on a truck at 12 in the afternoon. Says call at 1 to check. Call today and finally get a hold of someone then they hang up on me. I physically go to Walgreens and tell them I just had surgery and what’s the deal. They take my number and tell them to call me when it’s in. Walgreens calls me 15 mins later and no one answers. I just assume it’s in. Go there and of course not in. Ten minutes later down the road they call and tell me it won’t be in and need to get another script and call my doc. It’s New Year’s Eve. Thanks for absolutely nothing. Garbage mouth breathers
