I never leave reviews but this pumpkin cupcake was DELICIOUS! Literally perfectly baked, very moist, yummy frosting combo. I called while eating it to tell them how good it was. Highly recommend! As you can see I couldn’t even manage to not eat it before taking a picture.

Some boutique business owners think their way of doing things are the best. Even when given constructive criticism, they don't budge... not even... we will look into it... and never do...you don't have to but acknowledging that possibly the input provided was worthy of investigation is probably the right thing..not self righteous talking over the person calling in and basically not listening or even pretending to listen. Some of your clients may not be complaining but would if they thought they could. Offering money back is nice...good job there. Everything else I ever purchased there was very good. I expect that 1 dessert type item at restaurant prices would be delicious...not dry, tasteless, and nothing like the name it was sold as...call it a dry bread roll with a sprinkling of cinnamon and icing to make it edible ... your comment that 1 other person complained that it wasn't like "Cinnabon" just shows your sense of superiority. I never expected it to be like that product, I expected it to be better.

Jean is the sweetest women - she baked our cookies for my daughters wedding and cooked our awesome brunch food for day after wedding !! The cookies were delicious and we had her green beans , mash potato’s and stuffed chicken. We also got her cheese biscuits ! Highly recommend her for baked goods or anything else she makes. Thank You Jean so glad we found you!

This is the sweetest family bakery you will ever come by. We had breakfast there and got some sweets to go. The family was very kind and friendly and even gave us a sample of one of there cakes. We had breakfast sandwiches and sweets including a Reesie‘s explosion cake which was the bomb. I Highly recommend this place to anyone.

These are the best carrot cake cupcakes with a swirl of cream cheese frosting on top. The cake is soft and moist, slightly spiced, with a little bit of crunch from the walnuts,The shredded carrot really helps keep these cupcakes super moist and delicious.Don’t make my mistake I got one to eat the next morning with coffee, but ate it same day! 😋

We had an 85th birthday party for Mom and had Sweet Momma's cater it. The food was delicious. All of our guests enjoyed everything. Parmesan chicken in butter sauce was the top favorite. Chicken wings, dirty rice, sweet potatoes and black-eyed peas were favorites also. The cannoli cake was moist and very tasty. The party was a success everyone was stuffed and happy after the meal. Thank you Jean you out did yourself

Delicious baked goods. She gave me a fresh baked cowboy cookie to try- it was one of the best cookies I've eaten.The store is not easy to see from the road. I went right by it even though I knew about where it should be. She really should have a big sign painted on the side of her building near the handicapped parking sign (if possible).

I ordered custom cupcakes for a wedding shower from Sweet Momma’s. They were amazing! I shared a recipe that I found on Pinterest, something they have never made, and the cupcakes came out perfectly. Safe to say, they were the hit of the party.

I love supporting this local business and they make it so easy by having such delicious bakes. The chocolate peanut butter cake was absolutely amazing and surprisingly not too rich and heavy. They moved locations just slightly to where Dunkin used to be (next to McDonald’s and the laundromat) which makes parking or just stopping by just a little easier.

Heard Sweet Mommas Bakery in Norwich had the best cupcakes. I went today and tried the Red Velvet Cheesecake Cupcake. OMG...it was so scrumptious. So DELICIOUS! Best tasting cupcakes I ever ate.

My husband ordered a custom black Forrest cake for my birthday and it was phenomenal. I then ordered their Reese’s cheesecake for his birthday and it was superb. Definitely worth every penny. This is also family owned and everyone is so sweet. The place is so cute. I love everything about this bakery.

This is a must if you are in the area! We were on a road trip and just happened to drive through this town. This was the BEST brownie I ever had and the chocolate chip cookies are also not to be missed. Go visit Sweet Mommas!!!

It was the end of the day and the week; however, the owner and assistant were excited about their operation. Plus the cupcakes were fabulous. Their enthusiasm was authentic and I will order some baked goods in the near future to backup this rating. This is a bakery that should not be missed. Stop by, you will not regret the experience!

I had not been into the store until I ordered a 10-inch carrot cake for my husbands birthday a couple weeks ago. It's an adorable store with a family-atmosphere. Was greeted warmly and carrying the cake to my car the heaviness of the weight assured me it was going to be good! I was not disappointed! It was beautiful to look at, the frosting perfect not too think or sweet not too many walnuts on the top and the cake itself?? Perfection!! Moist and just the right amount of flavors! It was a favorite and it will be a staple for our holidays. Thank you!

Sweet Mommas is the most adorable breakfast and bakery place. The pudding, cupcakes, coffee cake, and coffee were all AMAZING!! They even gave us free samples of warm cookies and their stuffed turkey pastry! They are very kind and accommodating, we will definitely be going back! 10/10 😁

I am a good baker. I worked as a baker never eat processed baked goods. This family owned and run bakery in Norwich offers real home baked scratch items that I return for. Coconut pineapple cake is high and fluffy and dense all at once. It tastes like grandma made it for you with love. Corn bread is moist and sweet and pairs well with beans and rice for dinner. Do try an egg and bacon or sausage breakfast sandwich on a homemade biscuit. It looks small but is so rich I share mine.

I've been going to Sweet Momma’s at least once a week for the last year now, and I can't help but update my review.The quality of desserts I've had from here is always top notch. And the breakfast sandwiches that are made to order ALWAYS hit the spot. I've ordered breakfast, lunch, and a cake for the weekend all in one stop.Something just as good as the food though is the service. The family that runs this place is amazing. I've never felt more welcome in a business than when I walk into Sweet Momma’s. I've been greated by 4 generations of friendly faces some days, and it brings me back every time.

Just went to Sweet Momma’s to get breakfast, I love grits and knew t could get them there.I had the Sausage, egg and cheese on a biscuit, it was the best breakfast sandwich ever, the biscuit itself was so big and delicious, add the Home Fries which were amazing, making this the best breakfast around.Try it you will love it.Of course I couldn’t leave without a slice of my favorite Carrot Cake for later.Thank you to Sweet Momma’s for being here in Norwich❤️

This is not your grocery store bakery. The cakes, puddings, pastries and cookies, are made from scratch and are so delicious it is mind blowing. Everything is pristine and each new item purchased has led me on a gastronomic adventure with all the taste and textures that have caused me ecstasy. I have visited Sift in Mystic, and while it is good, it has not grabbed me that way Sweet Momma’s has. You will not be disappointed. P.S…make sure you try the banana pudding, better yet, buy various deserts, and have a taste test with your family and friends. It is a blast!

I ordered a chocolate cake with canoli filling from sweet mamas. It was so delicious! My guests loved how soft and delicate the cake was without being overly sweet. The whipped cream frosting was excellent too! My new go to for desserts.

Let's start off with the good things. The gentleman behind the counter is very helpful and courteous. The carrot cake is one of the best I've ever had, ever! The banana pudding is too rich for my taste but I'm sure the majority of the population absolutely loves it. I did however also try the banana pudding cupcake and that was not as rich; it was very good!I tried the canoli cake and I have to say I was disappointed. The canoli cakes I have had previously had layers of canoli filling throughout the cake and also on top as the frosting.This had one thin layer of filling and a whipped cream frosting which I didn't feel belonged on top. A thin layer of canoli filling and a half of canoli stuck inside does not maketh a good canoli cake.The parking is not the best, particularly for someone with walking problems and hopefully one day they will be able to move to a better location where I am sure they will get a lot more customers.Overall I think the place is unique in its offerings and has excellent baked goods. Sweet Momma’s is the newest gem of Norwichtown! They have the most delicious selection of baked goods and treats that will make you come back for more. They are the nicest people you’ll ever meet and you will not be disappointed in your experience. The banana pudding is to die for!

Me and mom went the other day and we got 3 slices of taramusi and it was literally the best slice I have ever had. I highly recommend you check them out. Also very friendly workers.
