The people who are in the store were great it's give your dog a bath month went in with my talkative Husky Jet he was very vocal and they loved it and really nice about his noise we went and chilled out after go there give em some business bought him some treats and flea/tick drops to thanks for a great experience!

Thank you dearly Jen. You were so kind in giving me valuable advice on reaching the right party to care for the injured bat. Your knowledge and experience saved me time, and greatly increased the chances of survival and recovery for the little creature. I called Norwich Animal Control and spoke to Michelle. She was so kind, knowledgable, and quick to respond. She came and took care of the bat, and brought it to rehab. Happy ending to a traumatic evening. By the way, the meal worms were delicious. Oh, was I suppose to feed them to the bat? Just kidding, the little guy really seemed to enjoy them. Thank you!

Love it here. Have everything we could possibly need for our pup and more. The have a place where you can pay to wash your dog, have a great selection of dog toys, treats, clothes, and food. The staff has been very friendly and have gone beyond what we expected with each visit. I love the fresh baked treats. Makes it feel like you're bring your pup to their favorite store.They also have cat stuff and actual kitties in the store.Love it there. Not overstimulating like petco can sometimes be.

I absolutely love this pet store! Their brand of dog food is by far better than anything else you can buy out there either dry or canned. The first five ingredients in the original formula are meats, protein.Everyone is extremely helpful, you can bath your own dogs there, using the different shampoos for 10.00 a dog.Military and senior citizen discounts. You earn a free bag of dog/cat food after every 12 of one size you buy. Just a fantastic place

I have been here twice to get stuff for the new puppy. The staff were super helpful and very knowledgeable. What made them stand out from the big box store besides being 20 miles closer is the sense of community I felt when I was there without higher price local stores usually have to charge just to stay in buisness. I observed the familiarity the staff had with multiple people who stopped in. It was actually pretty cool. Keep up the good work.

Awesome place. You can wash your pets in table height marble bathtubs and blow dry them. Great selection of toys. Check out their own food line. Comparable to Acadia or Origen at half the price. Super nice people who really care about you and your pet. The best pet store, frankly, I have ever been too. Knowledgeable and polite with a hometown feel. So excited when they opened up in town. I was driving 50 minutes to go to one in Connecticut and that was worth the ride! Get loyalty program.

Great place to get pet products! When we adopted our fur baby, they had a whole starter booklet with lots of savings, which allowed us to get above and beyond what we needed. When I needed to return a collar and a cat litter box cover that had a broken clasp, the staff were great and were able to find a clasp to fix the litter box cover! Overall, the staff are super helpful, the place has great products and there's a military discount once a month!

Easily the nicest pet store in the norwich area. Very clean, organized and a knowable staff. Although the product availability is limited they seem to have all the “best” stuff and some unique items. Best selection of collars in the are IMO Not a big as some but has that small independent feel. It’s my go to store now. Also the washing service is a nice bonus. It’s very professional and very clean. Products available for the pup - everything they have not limited to the garbage stuff other stores that do this give u for ur dog.

This is absolutely one of the best pet stores I have ever experienced. The people who work here and run the store are always polite and more than happy to speak with you and offer good advice for whichever pet you may have questions about. This store carries almost everything for cats and dogs, as well as hamster, guinea pig, ferret and other small animals! The prices here are almost always the cheapest of any pet store retail - much more than Petco or PetSmart. I only go elsewhere when I find the same product online. (They also price match any other stores prices!) Pet Valu also offers a rewards program for free washes and credit. Additionally, the ten dollar self dog wash is an excellent value. You are allowed to use professional washing supplies and a bath with an automatic drier and towels. I highly recommend you visit this location with your pet (yes, you may bring in your furry friend into the store!) before going elsewhere!

I love PetValue. It is close by where I live and the customer service is great and they have alot of items to choose from for your pets. I love buying stuff for my cat buttons there. They also have a points reward program and all. Ask them when you go in or checkout at purchase time.

This particular pet valu location is a favorite of mine because they take clearance items from other stores and sell them marked down 50-75% off. I rarely make a visit here without leaving with 20-40 pound bags of dog food for fractions of the original price. They also have a nice dog washing station... the best pet store chain you’ll find in New England... however doesn’t compare to Unleashed down south.

Pet Valu is a must for those pet owners who hate bathing their pups at home. Their dog was offers a $10 self service, which includes shampoo, towels, and a dryer. Their pet food is comparable prices, but I particularly love the treats and toys.

I just need to start by saying that this store is absolutly amazing . From the outside of the store you think its going to be just another norwich store on the west side . But as soon as you walk in you get this amazing vibe that trickles over you. Tons of smiling faces and awesome set up . Their pet wash station looks so luxurious. I just called to ask a question about my cat protesting against his food because his sister has special food for her urinary issues . The reason i called Pet Valu to ask what i can do is because they usually seem so well informed everytime i visit the store . I am a type of person who always asks questions ( i know ... annoying 😂) but everytime i enter the store i learn something new. So when i just called them i was expecting a normal amount of info, but instead i was given soo much information that i feel i couldnt have even gotten off google. These employees at this Norwich store are absolutley amazing . I call them mini veterinarians. And the amazing thing is ... they care about all animals, they are not there for just a paycheck. It warms my heart to know that i get insight from people that care just as much about my pets than i do . I dont know if they get speacial training to know as much as they do but they are by far the best pet store ive ever gone to & i will continue to bring my money to this store . Thank you so much 💕

It's a shame the end of December they are closing there doors for good. If you can get down there and take advantage of the last min. deals and warm water to give your pet a bath. Pet valu will be greatly missed in our community's

I have the world's most stubborn dog, who will only play with ONE particular toy. I had gotten the original toy at Pet Valu about a year ago, and we just recently lost it during our move. I went back to Pet Valu with the hope of replacing the beloved pig squeaker. The girls manually checked inventory and saw that they had ONE pig in stock. The two ladies did not give up digging in every bin, box and display until they found the pig! I don't know what I would have done if I had to go home pigless! Thank you so much for going above and beyond for me!
