The new owners are excellent. I love the changes they’ve made to the store as the selection is so much larger now. Yesterday my boyfriend and I went there and took quite a while to pick what we wanted, but the owner was so friendly and offered to help us with anything we needed. We finally decided on our selection, and the owner stopped us at checkout and said the prices were incorrect. I fully expected him to raise the price, but instead he dropped it. I don’t know many people that wouldn’t just take the extra few dollars. I wouldn’t usually go to Occum, but now it’s definitely going to be my first stop.

I am here often, I have been on the phone before because of a selection i needed to make and while on it the clerk asked me if i needed help and no one has thrown me out, I just want to say that i have gotten nothing but good service here, i know the owner and pretty much all of her staff and never had a bad experience with any of them. I wished most retail places had a staff like the staff that works here.Keep up the good work every one at the store.

Where else can you walk into a store and be greeted like family? They have a great selection of local brews and wines. Don’t have what you are looking for? Just ask! If they can get it, they will. Did I mention the store dogs? Now that’s a greeting! If you are looking for a local store with great selection and fair prices, this is the place to go! Did I mention the dogs?? Anyway, stop in and say hi and soon you will be family too!

I was walking around the store for 10 minutes tops trying to decide what I wanted from a very limited selection. I happened to be on the phone while I was walking around the store (not even at the counter mind you), because of that I was refused service and told to leave. Go literally anywhere else. They probably won't have what you're looking for, and, if you need to call someone for an alternative, they'll kick you out. Save yourself the trouble.

On 11/8/17 I asked the young gentleman working there if he had any more Nips of Evan Williams Honey Whiskey? He said no, but said that they just got a new delivery the previous day. I said, can you check in the back to see if you have any? He said we don't. I said "if you just received a delivery yesterday, can you please check (2nd request). He went in the back and found a sleeve of E.W. honey whiskey nips. I bought the sleeve.On 11/18 or 19, I went in and a woman was at the register. I asked her if she had any E.W. Honey in the back, she went and checked and there were none. I explained that this was the only liquor I buy and 9 times out of 10, you never have it. Her answer to me was that it's too hard to keep. They order cases of the E.W. honey nips and can't keep it in here. That was it, she never offered to order more so that I can buy it there and she seemed irritated with me that I was hoping she would try to keep me as a customer. I find the selection there is not so great, the people who work there don't seem to care or want to go out of there way at all to make the customer feel wanted in their store and their prices for other items I have seen are quite high. That was my last trip there and I will spread the word that it is better to drive a little further to buy your alcohol then it is to give Occum Package Store their business. I live right down the road, so it's sad that I will be driving to the next town over to get good service and my alcohol of choice.

They sell 750 ml Jack Daniels $10 higher than almost every other liquor store and make you wear a mask to boot..

First package store that I ever walked into, it's been the same staff for over 20 years now, it's a really nice friendly package store they have two awesome little dogs running around the store that won't bother you unless you want to pet them the package store wouldn't be the same without them also the selection is good they always have my favorite drink Not Your Father's Root Beer
