I could not possibly love and recommend a place more than here. Our Lucy girl is a daycare attendee and there is absolutely nowhere that I would trust more with the care and keeping of our girl. Her favorite day of the week is daycare day. Each and every one of the staff members treat her and love her like their own which means so so much to us. The second she walks in the building not only is she absolutely over the moon excited for a day of play, but she lights up the second she sees any one of the incredible staff members. She comes home every single day happy and so incredibly fulfilled. Thank you all so much for all you do and thank you for truly being one of Lu’s favorite places to be!

UPDATE: We went back today and WOW. Malibu came home thoroughly exhausted (see our run down girl shown below).... Everyone was super great and friendly...as they usually are... (except that one girl that one time around the holidays that told me there was no daycare that day after me driving down there with my dog who still gets car sick. I had checked the website before I left and it didn't say it was closed that day so when I went and she said there was no daycare that day, I was quiet for a moment... surprised... and she said "well we posted it EVERYWHERE" ... Except their website apparently... (Sorry, I'm still salty about her unnecessary attitude when I wasn't even complaining about it... Just was standing there for a moment thinking what my next move was)Anyway, she wasn't there and today was great. And I'm happy for our girl to have a nearby place where she can get exercise, get groomed and socialization and that shows their love of animals in their care. ❤️We'll be back for sure.

Can’t say enough how well they take care of my Remy, and another plus is he loves to get dirty they rince him off before I pick him up. They are right there to answer questions with my pups also. He truly loves to go and play with his friends.

My pups absolutely love it here! They normally wear a vest, and when I take it off them, they know it’s a daycare day, they literally jump with excitement! Both my pups are high energy pups, and a day with their friends at NPTR gives them a reset, and gives my household some peace and quiet the following day or two. As for the staff, they are all great there, I know there was a recent change in management, and they are making improvements to the place. I’ve never used the boarding services, but management and staff have my trust. Five stars, all the way!

I brought my reactive dog in to board for 9 days, it amazed me how well the staff did with my boy. They tried their very best to earn his trust and made sure he felt loved. Some of the workers even made it their priority to let me know how he was doing, since I was very nervous to leave him because I know how he is. I will be back in the future and I recommend this place to everyone!

I bring my dogs for boarding and for day care, I love this place!Recently, there’s been changes in management and staff and it’s reflecting such positive light throughout the facility. They are even re-doing the lobby!!I recommend this place if you want your dog to feel at home and loved.

I love this place I bring my dogs there for daycare. They are always so tired when I pick them up, it is always great bringing your pets somewhere you can trust. Also the staff is super friendly and the place is clean. I highly recommend it.

I’ve had a lot of friends who bring their pets here and have nothing but great things to say! They book up quickly so it’s best to book in advance! They have a knowledgeable and caring team who you can trust to take care of your fur babies for the day or for longer!!

Been coming here for years with my current dog for daycare, and previous dog for boarding. My dogs have always been well cared for and come home happy and tired. The staff really care about the pets and always share pictures, videos and stories when I pick my dog up from daycare. Many changes over the last year with new owners (now owned by same parent company as Gagnon's in Colchester), new management and staff. Admittedly, it seemed a little rocky at first with staff turnovers (it's hard to keep good employees anywhere since covid) but they have found their strive with the new management being really invested and taking good care of the place and staff. Looking forward to more positive improvements!

First time using a kennel for my 2 puppies (7 months) and 10 (months) they were great ! One employee in particular Emonte(spelling ?) was excellent! Definitely will use again!

My Ruger Bear has seen going here since 2020. He is happy to show up and pooped when I pick him. The staff has been so loving too him. And there is a bonus for him, He gets to see his foster mom! 🐾💙

Every time my dog comes back he looks amazing and the grooming is exceptional. Thank you so much for doing such a wonderful job. We even had a chance to use our dog friendly hair coloring, and we gave him a tad bit of purple. He loves it.

I keep coming back to drop off my dog every other week or so. I wish I could do it more often but I live out in New London. The staff that works here is overly friendly and really cares about animals. I’ve even taken my two cats and my guinea pig to be boarded. They always come home very well loved. And my dog is always tired out. I would recommend this to anyone who is nervous about bringing their pet to daycare or wants someone who pays attention

Been contemplating writing a review, but after seeing all the fake reviews here, I have to write about my experience- shame on the new owners for this tactic.Have brought my dog here a few times for boarding. I pay for the more expensive room, with activities and never receive an update (besides one stay where she was bleeding in the mouth from a toy and they took her to the ER vet which cost me over a thousand dollars). I always have to call them and check in. They say they will text pictures but they don’t. I have never received confirmation or pictures or messages that any of the activities that I paid for were completed. Most pet spas these days have cameras in each kennel, ironic Norwichtown Pet Resort & Spa hasn’t invested in that - they don’t want us seeing how they leave our pets alone for hours and hours. My dog is always scared, dirty and paws covered in poop when I pick her up.This place is not safe. Do not bring your pets here.

We left our dogs here for Xmas. Prepackaged their food for the exact amount of days they were staying there. When we picked them up they had unused meals. Probably weren’t feed. Also I don’t think they get taken out much when they are there even though we paid for two walks per day. I would stay away

When my wife and I went out of town a couple of weeks ago we had a last-minute change in plans and needed to find someone to take care of our puppy before we flew out the following day. Norwichtown pet resort and spa were fantastic throughout the whole process. They were able to get her in for the next day and our puppy absolutely loved it. They made the process easy, painless and were very supportive when we called and checked on her multiple times throughout the week as it was our first time leaving her alone. We would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.Thank you Norwichtown pet resort and spa for taking great care of star flight!

Have always been very good with my Great Pyrenees, and he loves going. The staff has been terrific during the whole last month of April, while my husband was seriously ill in the hospital; it has been a godsend for us. I have already recommended it to friends, including one just this morning.

We will never be coming back to this kennel ever again. We boarded our 2 cats their over the holidays and when we came to pick them up they were disgusting. They both smelled like dirty litter and when we checked them they had feces stuck to their butts. One of our cats had so much poop on her butt that it was red and inflamed bad enough that we had to take her to the vet. This is completely unacceptable and while we did get a refund we still will never use or recommend the Norwhichtown Pet Resort & Spa ever again.

Seriously I can not put into words the fantastic experience I have had with this place. The staff are amazing always willing to answer your questions. I don’t typically leave reviews but if I could leave 10 stars I would. My crazy pup Loki was always happy to go here. If you doggo is having issues they have amazing training options. From group to private lessons to work on your dogs needs. Loki is going to miss you all thanks for treating him like your own.

Used to love this place but the quality has really gone downhill since the new owners took over. The staff seems disorganized and I was given the wrong information twice, once about picking up on a holiday. The manager apologized and let me pick up my dog however the women on staff that day made sure to make a snotty comment about us being there, she seemed totally aggravated. Also my mother boarded her dog at the beginning of October for a week. She said the place absolutely stunk like urine and when she asked to use the bathroom she said there were flies covering the toilet seat. Her dog also has been coughing since she picked him up on the 9th. Sadly I would not recommend this place anymore and will be looking for a new place.

My working Maremma received a grooming and the groomer did a wonderful job! I’m very specific about how she is groomed because she is a working dog. She is also 10 1/2 so she requires many breaks for her hips to rest from all the standing. I would highly recommend the grooming service at Norwichtown Pet Resort

We have been at this resort since 1992 with 7 dogs over the years. Joyce was the first owner and loved all animals. Carol was the second owner snd again the staff gave us the best care for all the years we have been here. I heard there is a new owner now so I hope the care that I have had for the past 31 years continues. From the past week that our dog Zora has been back the staff has been fantastic! Knowing your dog is in the best care is very important and I have never had a doubt with the Norwichtown Kennel.Lorna Gallagher
