Disappointed Customer

Had a very nasty interaction with an employee, an older woman with gray hair wearing glasses who is running the register was so nasty when a coupon didn’t work and I asked what I had done incorrectly. She proceeds to slam the items down on the counter at this point, I decided I wasn’t going to buy anything and I said I would put it back, she then starts to loudly. Say if you read the damn coupon you would know why didn’t freaking work. I understand retail can be hard times, but I have never experienced a store associate be so nasty in front of a line of people she was honestly the worst employee I’ve ever seen at any company , I reached out to customer service who said the general manager was gonna give me a phone call that never happened I can definitely see that there’s no interest in customer feedback with this company. I would’ve at least expected a phone call when the company said the GM would call me , very poor customer service that lady needs a new job

First time here. Needed a marker for some renovations. Didn’t want to have to go all the way to Home Depot. Took a chance and came in here.Fortunately found a marker I could use. Picked it up quickly went to the cashier. She was super nice and efficient. Prices were excellent. Was in and out.

Expect to be panhandled as you wade through the litter in the parking lot. Worst dolgen I've ever been too and I've traveled plenty. Seems like they just gave up on appearances.

Women staff working on Christmas Eve were super helpful and nice! Also kudos to DG for being open on Christmas Eve for those of us last minute shoppers! Aisles are tight for carts, though, and it was kinda a mess - but I think this was from holiday craziness. Pricing and options are great though, and will def be going again!

Neat displays, prompt, friendly customer service and effective management. Tara greets everyone and is always willing to help. She is a true asset to this company and raises the bar for customer satisfaction. She deserves recognition!

Most of the employees are great there, but the two women that are usually there when I go in the evening after work are rude, disrespectful, miserable human beings. They go out of their way to be mean and make customers unwelcome and uncomfortable. If you hate your life that much that you take it out on everyone around you, maybe customer service isn't the best fit.

Very nice employees work here. They are very helpful. I couldn't find what I was looking for and one of the associates brought me directly to it. The store is very clean and organized. I would definitely go back.

Supermarket with good section and good prices I mean it's pretty run-of-the-mill.I will say I'm not sure how most employees have been able to remain positive these trying times. It is impressive.

I understand we have a pandemic going on but there is always excuses as to why the shelves are not stocked. On most Saturdays they offer the $5.00 off $25.00 plus digital coupons with sale items. I usually am looking to buy the toilet paper, laundry detergent and fabric softener. On Saturdays most of the time there is very few of those items or none at all. Who unloads these trucks? I called several hours ago and the truck is still not unloaded so I will miss out on this sale because the truck is still not unloaded.

Fantastic store ,I stop often because of the great deals . Coffee is always a great price ,I get the Maxwell House bonus size for a little over 5 dollars ,most stores have it at 10. Household goods ,cleaning products ,the prices save me so much. The people working there are always helpful and kind. My kind of store!

The employees all are helpful, store is clean for the best it can. Well stocked and pretty organized. Overall a great experience every visit. Parking is plenty, hours are great. Easy to get to.

There was such a long line I would've thought another employee that was on the floor could've come to her rescue at least to get the line down. Then cashier needed a key for my transaction for a void and it took what felt like forever for the key holder to come up. He had to have seen that long line yet still walked away to go back to whatever he was doing instead of offering cashier a hand. Teamwork let down I'd say.

This location is usually clean and stocked pretty well. There are a couple of employees who are a bit on the brisk side, but some are quite lovely. I definitely prefer this one over the Main Street location which is usually pretty bare and overpriced.

I was very disappointed in the management and cashiers not making sure customers are wearing masks and staying 6 feet apart. The manager does not know how to run the place. She keeps one person on the cash register the lines are going down the aisle to the end of the wall. She has no one called for help so they couldn't get these customers out customers come first stocking come second. All you ever do is see her outside smoking and telling people how hard she works. There's just too much talking on the register instead of getting the people out nobody cares about the cashiers lifestyle or what she cares about they just want to get their products and leave. The manager telling people to be patient we can't be much more patience and waiting in line for 25 minutes at a Dollar General store which is supposed to be a fast quick pick up place now it's printed on side on their building what a sad excuse for a manager. Sorry about the bad review.

Store shelves were mostly empty, was dirty.Stock in the isles blocking the way.Employees were nice, but they didn't have the stuff the other Dollar General stores have..Griswold, and Moosup have much nicer stores

I go here, before work. Manager and staff in the evenings or first in the morning are great. Store is always stocked, and clean. Typically.in and out no long waits.

Silva is very rude unless you are Spanish. Wouldn't talk to me but would speak to other customers that walked in in Spanish. This was not the first time she has done this. She makes it very uncomfortable to go in. I have not shop there before when she is at the register. Only if I have will I shop there now. I like the dollar general stores just not this one.between the kinda of customers they have and Silva seals the deal for me

These stores are pretty much all the same. It's like they crammed half of Wal-Mart into a pint sized bottle, that said, it's a useful place and convenient!

Value for your dollar for sure and allot of people know it. Some stocking issues sometimes due to popularity but majority of the time what your looking for is there.
