A very diverse spread qof products. I sought help on one item from a store associate but his attention was on his in house walkie talkie while trying to talk to me. I walked away angry and unsatisfied. Checkout person was very friendly as she tried to answer my remaining question about the item I was purchasing.

I had bought a 6 volt battery. When I got home, I found out it was the wrong kind. I called the store and explained what happened and I was able to return it for the right one. The clerk was very friendly and helpful.

Mike is a friendly, helpful and welcoming Manager at this Ace site. The Staff are all friendly & solicitous.The supplies are abundant, varied & easy to find. Ace hardware has a Reward program & great sales on high quality supplies seasonally. The deal on mulch and soil in October was hard to beat. We went back three times. I highly recommend patronizing the Norwich franchise.

Friendly staff and a pretty good sized Ace. It's tucked away by the nearby gas stations, so it's hard to tell it's even there unless you're actively searching Maps for a hardware store. They do display items they don't have in stock, but it's easy to order for in-store pickup. Staff seemed a little clumsy at checkout, but still nice.

The people who work there are very helpful. I needed a plumbing piece, I didn't know the name of it but I described it to him. Well he called someone else and he new what I needed!! They are super helpful.

Over the last few years the customer service has been excellent. They are knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful. This is where you go if you want good customer service. It is so much easier to go here than to one of the big box stores. Some things are a little bit more money but other things are cheaper. It’s definitely a time saver going here and that to me is well worth it.

Employees are knowledgeable and helpful, but the store is obviously understaffed, and I feel it is unfair for the "helpful place" to operate in a way which inconveniences their customers/the people of Norwich.In addition, for a place which prides itself on its savings, there are some suspicious price hikes. Business owner's gonna business owner, I suppose. Still shameful.

I had to replace my water heater and needed some parts and advice. Went down to my local Ace Hardware in Norwich, CT and saw "Big Joe" who Answered my questions and showed me where the parts that I was looking for were located. He also had some past experience with the products I was purchasing so it was helpful and reassuring to find out how easy they were to use. I replaced my water heater and it was a success. Thanks again Big Joe!

Excellent service - been running around for the last 3 weeks to get a spare car key - Joe did an outstanding job of Programming it in 15 min - the Local Mazda dealer was a big disappointment - very expensive and unable to do the job - Rates at ACE for spare ket was a fraction of what the dealer was quoting

Store was clean and well stocked. Staff was knowledgeable about the product and offered helpful suggestions. Sales associate advised me to swap to an alternate item that was on sale for half the price of what I had originally selected. Prices were competitive before sales, and comparatively very low when sales were taken into consideration.Would highly recommend for DIY or home improvement needs.

Rented a U-Haul from them and they were very helpful explaining to the last detail, cost of U-Haul was very reasonable and beneficial for sure, also love the store, but selection of nuts bolts and screws ext, you'll find what you need for a very reasonable price :)

This is a nifty hardware store. On top of having all the expected hardware items, it has all kinds of nice cleaning products and other home care essentials. Nice, bright store. Lots of paint and wallpaper goods, too. I'll go back, for sure.

After an online order through the main office was messed up, this store location went above and beyond to correct my problem and I am more than pleased with their customer service. They also carry items that are hard to find elsewhere. I highly recommend.

Staff very helpful some prices are high but the only place in Norwich that I know of to get any quality building supplies. I really recommend checking them out for your building and painting needs. If you are familiar in what you might need to do a project feel free to ask any staff member and they are happy to help. My Mom is an elderly woman I I just stood back and I am so impressed with the way she was helped. I am going to take the time right now to say THANK YOU FOR BEING SO PATIENT WITH MY MOM!!!!🤗♥️

This is possibly the best ACE in the country.While enduring a HORRIBLE experience with Uhaul (which this Ace location had no control over), we spent 3 hours in their parking lot. Mike helped us with our truck and trailer for over an hour and did everything in his power to fix the issue. The staff inside the store helped us get relevant phone numbers and invited us inside to stay out of the heat. This was a pretty bad day, but I've never had a better experience at a hardware store.

I had come a while ago and an older man helped me figure out exactly what I needed. The store has generally what you might need and I think it's fairly easy to find things. Today (11/25/17), I had no trouble finding things I needed, however, the cashier was terrible. Some young kid who acted like I was disrupting him playing on his phone. He tossed my little bag of bolts onto towards me, slapped the receipt on my pack of wood blocks and went back to his phone. I'd rather have checked myself out and left the review 5 stars for the stores selection and layout.

If you're looking for hardware, you'll find it here. There's so much packed into this store that it's just fun to walk around to get ideas for things you didn't even know you needed. Helpful staff, free popcorn, good sales, and just the right size floor plan to make it easier to find what you need. If you do get lost and can't find your way out, one of the area's best BBQ places shares the same parking lot, so browse without fear! Bet you'll find something you need... or at least want. Love the ability to pick up online orders here without paying for shipping!

Consistently extremely slow... I'm waiting in line while I am writing this review. If you have 30 min to burn waiting in line, this is the place to go. You can't run in and grab an item and leave. Paint counter is manned about 40% of the time, most of the time you have to search for someone to mix passi. I have come here alot, but it's faster and easier to go to Home Depot ten miles down the road. I'm done coming here..

Absolutely rediqulous that they do not honor posted prices as marked is the cost not you raise it 2 times !!! To get to 20% over competition Absolutely unprofessional your "manager" changed it again I get the mislabeled shelf price but then they price checked it told me another price and then when I said I'd take the product ohhhh no wait that's not right and then double it again 😉 nice job
