The staff is always helpful at this location, as far as my experience goes and they carry a decent variety of products.My only suggestion is actually for the management. It would be great to move the registers a bit further away from the entrance or come up with a better door system, because the casheers are exposed to cold all the time. They shouldn't have to wear jackets or warmer clothes just because the management can't figure this one out. Given the staff shortage out there, be appreciative of those employees you have do something for them.

I have recently moved to Norwalk and was looking for a location to take my dog to get her nails trimmed. I found this location and I am very pleased with this grooming service. They are very friendly and Dan does a great job trimming my dog's nails and making her feel calm while this is being done.

The service was not what I had expected or being used to. I also found the prices to be a little too high for my taste. OK, I didn't expect Walmart prices but expected them to be somewhat lower. The sortiment was also limited for my taste. I was looking for a winter coat/cover for my dog and found only one item like what I was looking for, but I found it way too expensive. I think I will look somewhere else.

I brought my 5 month old puppy here to be groomed by Daniel, and I made a same day appointment on a rainy Saturday, not expecting much but he definitely exceeded my expectations! I didn’t even think to look at grooming reviews before dropping her off, and when I finally did an hour into her appointment, I of course freaked out. I had no clue what to expect from my pup when I picked her up, but she’s already an anxious girl and hates baths so I was expecting the worst. However, when I got there, Daniel was so happy and honest, he told me what she liked and didn’t like so I know for next time what to ask for, and she was so happy to see me! She wasn’t scared at all when I picked her up, and she even made sure to give Daniel a quick goodbye. She got the Top Dog Plus package and I love it. She smells so amazing and is so clean and fresh. She’ll be seeing Daniel again soon for her Halloween package bath 🐶

If I could give zero stars I would. I brought my dog in to get groomed at 8 am and the workers didn’t arrive until 8:15 and then made me wait outside an additional 10 minutes. When I finally got inside the woman helping me was so rude and had a huge attitude. She told me the groomer I signed up for (Stephanie) wasn’t there so she would have to do it. I never received any communication letting me know Stephanie would be out and I said I would reschedule and the woman, whose name I didn’t get, snapped at me and said “I told you I would do it”. I knew I shouldn’t have left my dog there but she was so hot and needed to be groomed. A few days later my dog has scabs all over her head and bunch of bumps in her ear. Had to take her to the vet and they said she had a skin infection. $190 for the vet visit and medicine on top of the $120 grooming. Don’t bring your dog here.

Super disappointed. We always get our dog defurminated. It’s not cheap but it’s usually worth it. We tried this location due to better availability, but now I see why they aren’t booked. My husband are I are covered in hair. Someone definitely gave up halfway through the process. She still has so many loose tufts of hair. Very minimal effort.

After being a regular Petco customer for dog grooming, I decided I no longer wanted to spend $200 on my baby’s haircut every few months.Not only is Petsmart way less expensive, but the quality of service blows them out of proportion. ALL of the staff are good people, you can tell. I was looking at dentist sticks and one of the staff came over and suggested apple cinder vinegar to remove plaque. The cashier was lovely as well. It’s obvious how much everyone there cares about animals. I love that so muchAlex was my groomer and we will definitely be going back. He did a FANTASTIC job and I knew my anxious pup was in good hands. He even gave me some coupons! It was my first time there, and he exceeded any expectations I had. He was thorough, kind, and generous. My dog’s haircut turned out so beautifully, the best cut ever! He convinced me to get the halloween package, and boy, I did not regret it!!Truly the best people and service. Thank you!

Grateful for Kelly & Cheryll they was great!!! Customer Service was really good!!! Now Stephanie on the other hand, could use a day off bc apparently she don't understand that she has a job bc of the customers...She smelled and looked great...Will definitely use their grooming services again!!!

Joe trained my baby dog, bolinha and he was amazing! Patient, kind and Bolinha loved him. Joe is the best dog trainer around and thanks to him she is well behaved :) and trained! Kudos to Joe.

I was imprrssed by the variety of fish amd other animals they had. I have been looking to setup a small acquarium at home, I was pleasantly surprise to see how many options they had to choose from. Their staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, answered all my questions and helped me select the right acquarium for my home. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a pet and pet supplies.

For aquarisits!Went here to pick up a 75 gallon tank/stand combo. Would've gotten it from Petco, but they didn't carry it with the stand. Unfortunately, unlike Petco where your new item comes unopened in a box, PetSmart puts all of their tanks on the floor. The tank I received had obviously been there for at least a year, so the stand has some pretty significant cosmetic damage, and it was filled with cobwebs and dust. The tank had a small gouge in it, three massive streaks of adhesive that I was unable to remove from the label on the inside of the tank, and it was also filled with cobwebs and dust, and confetti too.On top of that, the store is quite dark and unappealing, the staff was slightly less than helpful, except when moving the tank to my car which they did for me. They also do not have any live rock in their store, so I then had to drive all the way to Milford Petco to get that and to get some real good advice on setting everything up.In short, I'd say for a PetSmart they're fine, for you're average pet store they're fine, but if you're going for a tank and related materials, Petco far exceeds this store.

so the place is great, good selection the only thing is that ive found too many fish on the floor, anybody could slip and fall. be careful, im pretty sure they will learn the hard way. to keep the floors dry

I called to find out if they had an item in stock. Their pre-recorded greeting said that their staff was busy helping other pet parents so they couldn't look to see if an item was in stock. I waited for a person to answer the phone to ask if they have an item anyway. I figured the worst thing would be they tell me they can't look and I have to come in. A gentleman picked up the phone sounding like I woke him up from a nap and I asked if they have CapStar 25+ for dogs in stock (this item is regularly back ordered) and he HUNG UP ON ME! I have always disliked this store, now I hate this store.

Their grooming is bad. Dog got groomed here in February. The girls kept trying to upsell services. Then she nicked his ear really bad and did not care at all. She said that scar was always there, then she said “well it was his fault for moving”. When I picked him up they said he was “aggressive”. He’s 10 years old, 17 lb, and no groomer ever has every said that or anything bad about him. I think they might have been hurting him during the groom- and dogs can also tell when someone’s a bad person. The girls had really bad attitudes. Also, PetSmart is really overpriced compared to other local groomers- especially after the upselling.

Booked the $37 grooming package for my dog which should have included a bath, nail trim, amd ear cleaning. The bath was ok as he didn't smell 'doggie' anymore. But I checked his nails and ears when we got home and some of the nails were still pointed (didn't appear to be cut at all) and his ears were still very cruddy inside when I wiped the insides with a damp wipe. So I'm not really sure why I even bothered with this place. I'll know better next time.

This place is very unprofessional the staff is Rude, They barely bother to ask if you need help and there very uninformed about there merchandise. Save yourself the time and the visit strongly don't recommend them to anybody.

Went there to pick up food for my cat and looked at the The cats they have for adoption one stole my heart and I had no intentions of adopting another cat but I wanted to give him a Nice home. I really would have liked to take them all home but that's just not feasible. I felt good that I Rescued one cat and hope all the rest find beautiful homes

They have been great during COVID with curbside pick up, when I have gone in store is really clean. Before I got my puppy I was looking for a blanket to get to give to him to remember the sent of his litter, I told the manager what I was looking for and he pulled at a bag and handed me a PetSmart blanket, I put everything else I had on the register and they didn't charge me for the blanket, they said it was a gift. Considering I didn't have a pet at the time and that was my first time there I can assure you that made a lasting impact. I tried to pay it forward toward one of their charities, but the act of kindness was what really sat well with me.
