I love Petco. All of the staff are great. The only problem is that I have a pet bunny and she only loves certain food/treats. of course, the one she loves, I have a hard time getting them at the stores. I am not an online order person, I prefer to go to the store and check things out.

Clean, easy to find associates to help with fish etc, and sometimes that’s not an easy feat, particularly knowledgeable staff. I volunteer here with an organization and the staff is very friendly, always willing to help, & take good care of all their animals. I’ve never had a poor experience at this location

My first grooming experience here was alright, although they left his hair rather long. Not a big deal. My second grooming experience though was quite terrible. I asked for a lion cut (hair around head left long, around body close), provided example photos from his first grooming (that I absolutely loved) and then they basically shaved his entire body including head. It's going to take months to fix it.

I do like the petco on main ave better. This petco doesn’t have as much stuff and I saw a poor baby dead betta fish. I showed the employee and I kid you not he LAUGHED. Like how is that funny. Anywho, if you live closer to here then it suffices for a quick visit but if you live closer to main ave definitely go there

My first grooming experience here. It was not really what I expected. The people are not very friendly in this store, either buying anything or going for grooming. I was told that my dog nails could not be clipped. I had to book another appointment at another groomer to have his nails clipped and it took them 5 mins. I am just not a fan of the people who work in this store. They are not welcoming or friendly.

I’d like to formally recognize Shane and commend him for having an excellent attitude and providing thoughtful, attentive support. Shane helped us out with the difficult task of catching 10 individual Cichlids (extremely agile fish!) that must’ve taken ~45 minutes. He got soaked in water, never complained once or even seemed frustrated, smiled and made sure it was enjoyable experience even though it was a chore.Shane is an excellent employee and I hope he continues to receive opportunity for professional development and promotion.Justin

The purchase was made online, very easy to do, and the purchase was available for pick-up in, literally, minutes. The young man who brought the dog food bag to me was very nice, polite, wore a mask! and was just really great.

Please do not go to this Petco. The manager, Hakeem, is the worst manager I have ever dealt with in my life and all of my years working in customer service. He laughs at customers and is the rudest, most disrespectful individual I’ve ever encountered at Petco. He should not have employment there or anywhere for that matter and is a complete disgrace. Shameful that Petco employs individuals like this. Please do not give this store any of your money or business!

I went to purchase some things at the norwalk westport Ave petco. I walked in and no one greeted me. (A couple employees walking around, saw me, and a cashier at the front)... I was interested at buying an emerald crab and a couple fish from that department. I waited for fish help for about 30 minutes, again no one was available for help. I didn't mind waiting... but then another person walked in. An employee then walked over and assisted that customer buying fish first even tho I was waiting for assistance before that customer that had just walked in. That was very frustrating as tho my business didn't matter. I ended up placing an in store pick up order while in the store for the dry good items I wanted (since I didn't get assistance IN store)... grabbed my order and left.

I give this 5 stars because I love the groomers here. I use them for nail trimming, and I can always walk in and have my dogs nails trimmed quickly. They are very friendly and caring with my dog, who is a little skiddish about having his nails trimmed. The store is well stocked and has good prices.

Nice store, staff knows what they're talking about and the products are mostly healthy all natural due to their recent health push. The pricing is way better than PetSmart and you're more likely to save a buck or two here than any other pet store if you check the online pricing as they will match their online prices.Always check their online store as you can sometimes get a dollar or two off the cost of your purchase. They never give you any trouble over it and are willing to adjust the cost.

Petco had the products we needed for our fish. When we called to double check the items were in the store, the attendant picked up the phone quickly and confirmed our in stock items. One call, again picked up immediately, when we arrived at the store was all it took to get the package in our trunk. We really appreciated the efficiency and friendliness of the whole experience.

This store is good for things that Petco carries for pets and it is a good location with good parking. Customer service is not their specialty, however. I've never had anyone who works there ever offer to assist me with getting my 40lb bag of cat litter either to the counter or to my car. Every single time they've watched me throw it over my shoulder and walk out. This is fine b/c I can get it out to my car myself but it is indicative of a general trend of lower customer service everywhere. You might hear more about what the employees did over the weekend than get help for your pet.

Do NOT go get your pets nails trimmed at this Petco location. It is not a good use of time or money. This is the second time I asked for them to be trimmed far down and they barely take any off, so I go home and finish it myself. My poor pup. The store is good but the grooming services are lacking. I would reconsider the training that the workers have or hold them to higher standards

Would give a lower rating if even possible, worst customer service in history of any store I’ve been to and employees don’t care at all. SteerClear of this store especially their fish section the fish always die I have multiple aquariums and never had a problem with fish dying on me but this store sells anything they do not care and on multiple occasions I have had the door slammed into my face.

Petco rarely has the Pure Bites Freeze Dried shrimps my cats craves. They don't order enough for this product since it is always gone every time I go and their products are delivered now every 2 weeks. I might as well go back to ordering online since they always seem to be out of things my cats love.

Service has severely decreased in the last 6 months. Be prepared to wait whether shopping in the store or online as seems one staff person handles both. In store shelves not well stocked. It’s unfortunate as this was my go-to store but switching to Main Ave store

The staff at petco are always great and helpful, but being able to order on line and curbside pickup, your staff goes beyond and back for those of us paying attention to the social distancing rules.
