Cindy at the front desk is one of the kindest and nicest person I’ve ever met, and she always greets the clients with a smile. Northford veterinary clinic is trusted and the best.

We have taken our cats to Northford Veterinary Clinic for over 20 years and found Dr. Azzolin and his staff to be caring, professional and amazing. They always fit us in when our cats were sick or dying. Since Dr. Azzolin retired, we have had 3 different occasions when our cat was sick and needed to be seen, each time we were told there were no appointments available for days or weeks, and to take them to Central Hospital if we couldn't wait. Today our 14 year old cat was dying and I was told the earliest she could be seen was 2 days from now, or take her to the hospital. The idea of her final moments being in the cold chaotic atmosphere of the hospital is infuriating. What good is a neighborhood vet if they don't see your pets when they are sick or in dire need?

We use Northford Vet for all of our personal animals as well as our rescue and client’s animals. Everyone is always professional, courteous and polite. Not to mention that Dr. M. makes sure that you know exactly what is going on with your animal and is honest and pure with the biggest heart.

We have been coming to Dr. MINOTT for a very long time. He is smart, kind, and very compassionate. There is no other Vet that cares for animals like him. He brings great comfort to me and my babies every time we visit. Dr. Minott has a beautiful demeanor with my cat and dogs. He speaks to them so gently and makes them feel comfortable immediately. Cindy at the front desk is also onenof my favorite people in the world. She has a heart of gold, is kind, and caring just like Dr. MINOTT. I had a horrible experience with his vet. I found him condescending and antagonistic. I went in with my beagle for a possible tick disease and for him to check my beagle’s ears. I had to sit while he bloviated about every question I asked. He really was in love with the sound of his own voice. What a miserable experience.

Dr. Minott is truly the best! He’s the kindest and most patient person, as well as immensely competent and dedicated to doing the best for all animals. He miraculously saved the life of one of our cats and has always treated our other pets with great care and attention. He is wonderful with little humans too! He, Corrie, and Cindy helped keep my rambunctious 5 year old focused during one of our recent visits. Corrie is super knowledgeable and helpfully, and even stayed late with us one evening. They’re an amazing group! Highly highly recommend!

I called Northford Veterinary Clinic because my 15 ½ year old dog that has been seen by this Veterinary Clinic since he was 8 weeks old was not feeling well and I knew he needed to be seen either that day or next day. I was told they couldn’t see him until two weeks out. If there was a cancellation, they would call me, or I can take him to the hospital. They know him and his medical issues, I was just really taken back by this. In the past they always took him in, since they changed hands, it isn’t the same. You think that the Dr. or assistant could have given me a call back to see what was up. Well, we ended up taking him to the hospital and had to make a very hard decision which was putting him down. We did have a feeling that this was going to be the outcome of this visit. Although I would of rather him been in a place, he has been to with people around that knew him, Guilford Central Hospital did a great job, very kind, caring and compassionate staff and Dr’s. If we decided to ever get a dog again, I would not use Northford Veterinary Clinic. They do not seem to care about there long time animal patients.

My family has been bringing our pets here since I could remember. When I moved I tried a few different local vets and I ended up bringing my pets back to them. Well worth the drive. Knowing my animals are being cared for by a compassionate, knowledgeable and professional staff is more important than anything to me. In June of this year we almost lost our Yorkie but with the care of Northford Vet Clinic, she’s still with us and happier than ever! Highly recommended!

I have to say the staff was so helpful and understanding with a troubled kitten we have. It took us several attempts to get him into our cat carrier to bring him in and they never made us feel bad because we had to cancel last minute more then once. I have been going to Dr. Azzolin for years now, 6 with my old dog and now five with my new guy. He is calm, considerate, extremely thorough and compassionate. He is so kind to all the pets that enter his office and he has always followed up with me regarding some on-going issues with my dog. The rest of his staff is awesome too, Kaylee, Cindy & Lynn are all so caring and accommodating, I would recommend Nortford Vet to anyone!!

Everything was perfect! We scheduled Gracie to be spayed, it worked like a clock. Wait time at the hospital was minimal, was called about Gracie before and after the surgery. Pick up at the hospital the next day was quick and pleasant. They treated her like she was their own. Great Doc and Great staff

Dr. Azzolin & the team at Northford Veterinary Clinic are extremely professional, compassionate, and knowledgeable. We have trusted them with the care of our dogs for 15 years, and continue to even though we no longer live in Northford. It is worth the trip for the level of care.

I am glad everyone is happy with this vet but I found him very condescending. My dog wasn't getting better so I went to another vet and it turns out she was on twice with recommended dose of pain meds He just said she had arthritis but he didn't say anything about the issue with her knee caps. He also missed a growth on her or at least didn't tell me. The follow up is terrible. I was planning some dental procedures and possibly x-rays but they never called back with quotes or to schedule. I won't be back. I guess they are good for simple vaccines and if there are no problems but I don't recommend for anything more.

I have been taking all of my pets to Northford Veterinary Clinic for many years. Dr. Azzolin is one of the best vets going. His thorough and holistic approach to treatment of his patients is one of the many things that keeps me bringing my pets to him for both routine checkups and medical issues. His care extends from the pets to the pet parents, both in assessing the pet kids' needs and the resources and abilities of pet parents to care for them in both healthy and ill times. His treatment plans and advice are practical, based on medical need and the abilities of both the pet and the pet parent to administer the treatment. The clinic staff are great as well, and are knowledgeable about the holistic care of animals being cared for by Dr. Azzolin.

I will admit that the Doctor and staff were very nice, however, I brought my dog there for an ear infection and it cost me $450, then 2 weeks later I had to buy another does of the ear medication for $20. My dog gets frequent ear infections and it has never cost me 1/2 as much as this appointment. Will not be going back.

Go here!Dr. Minott took care of my dogs for over 6 years when he worked at Banfield Pet Hospital.Over 3 years ago, he helped me get through the 6 months from when my last dog was diagnosed with liver cancer to when I put her down. It was horrible to go through it, but he was tremendous and caring.Now I have another dog he saw there a few times before he left for another veterinary job.To this week.....I still have a plan at Banfield. My current dog was diagnosed there with a heart murmur 5 days ago and it was recommended I get an expensive echocardiagram done on him.Well, I decided to find Dr. Minott as I wanted to talk with him about this. After looking on the Internet, I found he now owns Northford Veterinary Clinic.I immediately called the clinic and received a call back in 4 hours. It was like talking to an old friend. After explaining the situation, I decided to get a second opinion from him today. He spent extra time listening to my dog's heart and found no heart murmur. He also checked him out for a possible fractured tooth.We discussed a plan of action over the next few months just to make sure there is no murmur before we address the tooth issue.I'm relieved and my dog is now a patient at Northford Veterinary Clinic. If I could give Dr. Minott a 100 star review, I would. All I have to say is bring your pet to see him. You won't be sorry.

Dr. Azzolin and his whole team are outstanding. They really care about our two boys, and are extremely kind, careful, and knowledgeable. Dr. Azzolin is a pro at diagnosing what's wrong quickly & efficiently. His vet techs are absolutely wonderful and are super-organized. It's clear that they love what they do. Our dogs love going to visit. Before we found Northford Veterinary Clinic, we spent a fortune at other vets trying to figure out what was wrong with our dog, Carson. Dr. Azzolin nailed it on the first try. Carson's been doing great ever since. Dr. Azzolin also helped our English Bulldog live comfortably and fungus/yeast-free (those of you who have bulldogs know what a challenge that can be). Even our newest little puppy loves Dr. Azzolin, despite having to get vaccines every time we go! I can't recommend him highly enough.

I have been fortunate enough to have Dr. Azzolin and his trusted staff to care for all three of my dogs, a positive relationship that has spanned 20 years. I find that Dr. Azzolin is patient with answering all of my questions and truly dedicated to the health and well-being of my dog and her medical needs. The clinic has a great staff and is very responsive to the needs of pets (gave me an appointment same day when I called on a Saturday). I completely trust the care provided by the vet. This clinic may be a bit expensive. For me, it's worth it.
