I have been going to Healthy pet for many years. Sometimes a good experience, sometimes not.. Today a young man Trevor assisted me in my search for a healthy choice of can food for my 9lb 17yr old dog. I need to give him a shout out of thanks for his knowledge of the different choices without any pressure of purchasing a specific brand. I was extremely impressed not solely of his knowledge n great customer service he truly seems to care for the wellness of animals. I have been a loving pet owner for close to 60yrs n have been to so many pets store I've loss count. Trevor also seems to be a kind human, I will strongly recommend Healthy pet.

Wonderful store! The owners are friendly and very knowledgeable. Huge selection of quality supplies. Inviting atmosphere - bring your dog to shop with you - clean and organized. Not the cheapest but prices are appropriate for the quality and variety. The big box pet stores just don't have what Your Healthy Pet has and don't you want the best for your pets? Our little dogs have food intolerances but plenty to choose from here.

As a proud paw parent and a professional dog walker/pet sitter Your Healthy Pet is my go to for everything!!!They have an amazing selection of the best foods, toys, supplies and supplements!Not only do they have everything I could ever need, if by chance they don't carry something, they will most graciously order and deliver!!As if that weren't enough, the owners Mary-Kay, Tom, Ryan and they're wonderful staff are some of the most genuine, kind and helpful folks I've ever known!! It's always a pleasure to visit the store!!Their knowledge of animal nutrition and of course all the products they sell is unsurpassed!Always friendly, smiling and VERY generous!! SO very grateful to have this amazing store right here in town!!!

I'm sorry that the person who left a negative review had a bad experience at The Healthy Pet. Everyone in my family loves shopping here. The owners are not only friendly and very knowledgeable, they also have a GREAT selection of healthy products. Terry, if you expect more choices you are better off going to a franchiser that sells you crap for cheap money. You get what you pay for! I love to support local businesses, especially when I'm treated like a friend. They know my dog's name and she gets tons of free treats every time we go.

Your Healthy Pet is without a doubt the best pet store around. They have everything I need for my dog. The owners are friendly, knowledgable and very helpful. They take time to explain everything and answer any questions you may have. The store is extremely clean and inviting. You can bring your dog into the store (on a leash) and let them pick out some stuff as well, and the prices are great. What is comes down to is that they really care about your animals (and you), and want what is best for them. I am lucky to have them less than a mile away, so I stop in quite often. I highly recommend this store to anyone who loves their pets as much as I do. 5***** across the board for them.Markus

Tom, Mary-Kay, and Ryan are wonderful!!! Their store offers the best in pet food and supplies available in the marketplace today. They are knowledgeable about all of the products they sell and are genuinely kind, nice people. They go the extra mile to make sure the customer leaves feeling welcomed and happy!

Wonderful pet store with that home town feel no big box emptiness here. Your Healthy Pet has a knowledgeable and friendly staff. They stock all sorts of neat natural things for our lovely pets. I would highly recommend supporting this local business and in turn getting all the things you need for your pets in one stop.

The only place to shop when you need supplies for your cats or dogs. Staff is really knowledgeable and show they care about their business. Helped us get our dog on a solid diet. Prices are really reasonable and they have a extensive selection of high-end food brands.

Locally owned (owned by two generations of the Novak family, in fact) store offers a great selection of food, bedding, toys and treats for those who want to give their pets a better offering than what you'll find at supermarkets. The prices are a little costlier than the supermarket, but you do get what you pay for.I love that Your Healthy Pet occasionally does special collections for local animal groups, and hosts weekend events with local animal adoption agencies. These folks definitely walk the walk!

I am very disappointed with this store since the new owners took over. I told myself to give them a chance, but it has been months of trying now. The products have diminished and very few things are priced or labeled now. Also the last 4 times I went they were out of stock of at least 1 or all of the items I needed. This was never an issue with the past owners. Your Healthy Pet has been such a beautiful, convenient, local stop for years but unfortunately I do not have the time or patience to keep dealing with their inconsistencies and will be shopping elsewhere. I urge you to call ahead instead of wasting gas and time to find they are out of what you need and have always purchased. Sad situation.

I bought my dog's Canada Pooch harness which has two options for walking. I love the no pull front clasp, Theo does not but it works. My daughter gets her dogs Zignature Food for her schnauzer here, she has a point reward card. The excellent service keeps us coming back. They have two locations, Newtown and Middlebury, we shop local to suppprt local businesses!

Very knowledgeable about pets, pet health issues, and nutrition. Wide selection of food which is key because I have a dog with a chicken allergy. High-end food so it seems pricey compared to generic brands, but very good prices compared to stores selling the same products.

Really love this pet store it may be a hair more expensive than some other places but it’s worth it the staff is friendly and the owner is so knowledgeable and will take as much time to talk to you about the well-being of your pet. They also are always giving me free samples of products and they really are just the best around

My go-to place for anything let related. I'll buy it here before I look online, chances are they will be able to order what you are looking for for a competitive price. There is a store rewards program, and I do save quite a bit by being enrolled.

They carry a limited amount of products, their prices are quite a bit higher than what I can find online and the owner was very rude to someone that came in while I was there. I'd highly recommend that nobody does business at this place.
