I recently had the pleasure of receiving outstanding customer service from Josephine at Charter Spectrum. She went above and beyond to assist me with my account-related issues. Josephine's kindness and helpful demeanor made the entire experience a breeze.Not only was Josephine extremely knowledgeable, but she also demonstrated a genuine commitment to resolving my problems. Her expertise in handling the issues with my account was truly impressive. She took the time to address all my concerns with patience and clarity, ensuring that I left the interaction with complete satisfaction.I appreciate Josephine's dedication to providing excellent customer support. Her professionalism and positive attitude made a significant difference in my overall experience with Charter Spectrum. Waited a few minutes, but much better than previous visits to their old location. Apparently you can schedule an appointment - I was a walk-in.I went to cancel TV service and i wish I went there before calling to cancel. Quick, efficient and polite service. Much appreciated.

As usual, Spectrum does not provide an adequate customer experience. I spend 500 per month with them and they still wanted to charge me an activation fee for a new line. Staff at Newtown CT store is not familiar with products and they are, IMHO, "low calibre". While their Mobile Service is a great deal, it's at the expense of essentially "poor" customer service. They just do not care!

Awful Experience!!! Just needed to exchange a modem that stopped working. It's been an hour and going nowhere fast. The girl who seems to be a manager is worthless as she had done nothing. The two people who are working are doing what they can to move people through. Another worker just got here, looked like he was logging in, used the computer for a good 20 minutes and then disappeared. Beyond Frustrated, terrible customer service. If you sending back equipment use UPS, this place is useless.

Went there on labor day because of my phone was dead. Brain helped me to check it out and contacted with Samsung support when he learned I didn't have any other phone to call them. After he got the instructions from them, he showed me on the website where the Samsung authorized service provider located and printed the directions for me. Super friendly and helpful! Very nice experience over there.

If at all possible, use anyone else for an Internet provider. Poor connection, equipment required frequent restarts in order to function, and shady business practices. At the end of my service, they charged me for an extra month after having returned all of the equipment and refused to refund me.

If you’re dropping off equipment, just go to a UPS store, ANYWHERE, EVEN IN DANBURY. Your drive will be shorter than your wait here. This is DMV level corporate sloth. With 15 waiting, and a costumers transaction completed, the rep says “so, how’s your TV service…” well now that turned a 3 minute transaction into a 10+ minute chat, and this was happening at EVERY REGISTER. “Ok, you’re all set, and I see 11 people have been waiting for over 20 minutes, but may I ask if you’ve considered bundling your phone/cable and internet?”. 😳

Despite having a rather long wait with two small children in tow I really had a great experience. Josephine had everything to do with making the time spent at the spectrum store positive and worth the wait. She was extra attentive and accommodated. I didn’t have to repeat information and she was very knowledgeable when providing information on products, services and current promotions. I went in to just change out my WiFi equipment and ended up upgrading my service and moving my cell phones over! I happily did so knowing I would be saving so much by changing. If you need help at spectrum ask for Josephine!

Five employees in the store on 9/20/2023 at 11am and only ONE assisting customers. Ridiculous unnecessary waiting. Leave yourself a good hour if you plan to do business here.

I was not a customer but I had to go to take over my mother's account with a POA. The two men helping me were very good, Marc and Bill I think. Within 11 minutes the account was switched over and I paid the bill. Probably the best interaction for a utility.

Josephine was so helpful when we gladly switched from Verizon to Spectrum mobile. She helped us get the best deal, and was extremely patient and helpful when we realized the phone we were trading in had videos of a family member who has passed that we had not yet backed up. Totally our fault but she was so patient, helpful and understanding. Shout out to Mark who also helped us with this.Thank you so much! Recommending my friends and family make the switch too! I visited the store several times, my best experience was with Maxell. He took care of all my needs in a friendly professional manor even though I was frustrated because I didn't have the correct information. Because of his knowledge all my needs were met. He took extra time to help me with thing's that he didn't have to do. I'm beyond pleased with the service Maxell provided, a lovely human. I will gladly recommend this store.

I can’t thank Josephine, Chris and Mark enough. I had a major issue with my phone and ran over to the Newtown store close to closing hours in a panic thinking that I wouldn’t have phone service for days. They assured me they would take care of my issue and 30 minutes later I walked out of the store with my problem solved. They are super knowledgeable and very friendly. If all of Spectrum employees are like them then I am confident I made the right choice switching to them to be my service provider. Thanks again all of you!

First Armani was awesome on the phone with explaining everything and then Jimmy at the spectrum store was awesome with getting everything I needed. My bill was able to get knocked down quite a bit so I'm happy. And happy with my experience on the phone and at the store

The worst company and customer service. The workers are great but the managers don't do what they're supposed to do. New phone didn't work so I exchanged for a new phone. That phone didn't work. They tried everything to make it work. Tried to change to a different type of phone and they can only do 1 exchange. If they do a return then I lose my number. They strung me along for weeks until the 14 day return was over. WORST COMPANY!

They told me there was no equipment fee when I canceled after being with them for over 10 years and then sent me a bill. I then called back asking what had changed and what equipment I was suppose to return. I’ve always purchased and used my own modem and router so it didn’t make any sense. They refused to give me any sort of equipment I’d so I could even look for it in the junk drawer. Maybe they left something at my house that I didn’t need or use but to charge me for it a decade later at full retail even though it’s probably obsolete, is a terrible way to treat a former customer. I was just trying another provider but after this experience I’ll never go back.

I am disappointed to read that this location has been given such poor ratings from customers. And I understand that the cable/internet industry is one we all love to hate, probably because we rely on their services for everything we do.I for one had an exceptional first hand experience when they first opened the store.I had to transfer my cellular service from another provider that I’d prefer not to verbally trash because some people might have better experiences than I recently did. But the team at this location took the time to get me set up, and it wasn’t an easy process. But since I took the time to drive up there from where I reside, they went the extra mile. Particularly a gent named Tim and another named Pierre.They had to try everything under the sun to get my phone up and running, but it worked out great.Once again, I know these folks work for an industry we all love to hate when it doesn’t go OUR way. I’ve been there (like I mentioned, I just left a company to be better serviced by this one).Give them a chance! I know I am!

The lady was extremely rude and inconsiderate. I came in completely patient, and understanding that she was busy with other customers. She told me it was going to be a few minutes and I said, no problem. I totally get that she was busy. I just needed to drop off old cable boxes, I was told that all I had to do was stop by and give the phone number on the account and hand in the old equipment. She proceeded to tell me that I can go run errands or do something but it would only be a few minutes. I say in my car for 30 minutes. I came back inside and she completely ignores me, and then proceeded to tell her coworker that she would help him when she’s done. I am beyond frustrated.

Today was my first time going to the new store. As I walked in right away I was greeted by a young man who was very helpful. I followed the directions put my info into the greeting pad and waited about 5 minutes for the next available salesperson. All I had to do was return equipment and get some information on my service. Everything went well until I said no thank you to switching to their cell phone service. After that the salespersons manners disappeared and she was rude. Maybe she was having a bad day, maybe not but regardless poor customer service on her part. I dont think I will be back to this store. I would rather just deal with the tech service over the phone.

I went in to return equipment I didn’t need. I never opened the box but was told to take the boxes off the counter and put on the floor. Then told take all the equipment batteries, cords , remote controls etc out of the box. The representative was snarky in the way I was spoken to. I was told the numbers had to be scanned on the DVR. The same number was on the box. Why not scan the barcode on the box leave everything intact, and just use it for someone else nothing was ever touched.. only one DVR with scanned I was handed the receipt and said there you go. What about the other one? I asked. It’s on your receipt which it was not. then the other one was scanned.. everything was removed from all the boxes and just throw in a big basket. What a waste of time, energy, and money no wonder why cable fees are so high . Crazy.

I came to the store to move my ATT mobile to Spectrum. The entire process, while time consuming was handled professionally by senior and junior staff. The experience for me was very good. I left with my phone switched, saved money, got a break on my home internet package and even got my APPLE watch connected. Saved $30 a month over ATT plans. Happy customer.

Great customer service. I see the same rep in the store and everyime I let her go into her sales pitch about spectrum mobile. What she keeps forgetting (which I don’t expect her to remember) is that I work for Verizon Wireless. Cracks me up everytime, however I still give her an "E" for effort. Again, great job.
