We are in the middle of a major remodel and the Red Baron team has been an amazing part of the experience so far. They have been extremely accommodating with meeting our scheduling needs (a lot of moving pieces that have to get done in the right order) and knowledgeable in providing recommendations to suit our vision and budget. The carpet installation team was friendly, efficient, and extremely respectful. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with how things looked before they wrapped up for the day. Highly recommend this team to anyone. We are really looking forward to seeing these guys again for phase 2. Even the baby inspected and approved of how great things looked! :)

Had a wonderful experience with Bruce and Pete! They were very knowledge in teaching me about all the carpet options and helping me decide on what would look and feel best. We had carpet replaced in 4 rooms all in a half a day. The installers were prompt, clean and courteous professionals! It was a great experience and I would highly recommend them !

Just had my stair tread put in today and I am in love! I stopped by Red Baron one weekend to take a look at a sample piece of carpet and by Monday Bruce came out to measure. I placed my order with Pete, the carpet came in the next week and the following week it was installed. The guys were great! Super nice and they did a fantastic job!

Very upsetting: One Star for no call backs, and no help. I see many stars for this business, so maybe we're just unlucky. Many years ago, we had a PREMIUM carpet installed in our master bedroom. We're from Newtown, and only chose Red Baron because our kids played baseball with the owner Bruce's son (a nice kid). The installers did a really bad job with a wall-to-wall seam, they put it in a conspicuous place, and did a sloppy job with the padding seam - leaving gaps and overlaps. Red Baron (Bruce) resisted having someone come out to fix it for us. We finally got them to agree, but they didn't fix the padding problem, which ended up month by month creating a bump crease nearly across the room, seen in my photos. Over the years, we called now and then to complain, and were always told there was nothing they could do; that we'd have to pay. Have any of you out there ever seen a professionally installed premium carpet look like this? So much for shopping local!

We were moving to Newtown and had a very tight timeline to have the carpets replaced and Red Baron got it done. Pete and Bruce were so easy to work with. They went above and beyond to get the carpet I chose in time despite the current challenges with shipping and supply. Their prices were fair and competitive. The crew showed up on the day of the install on time, they were courteous and did a wonderful job. Overall a great experience. I highly recommend them.

Needed a carpet for my whole house quickly. In 2 days they measure and installed and did a great job. The owner was friendly and helpful, the installers were professional and cleaned up, and the gentleman in the office went out of his way to assist me get it done quickly and at a great price. UPDATE to my original review, in response to Red Baron:Thank you for your perspective. To be clear, no one from Red Baron ever called us; maybe you called a different number but we did not get any calls or messages from you. I called twice to check on the status. The first time I was told it’s taking longer because you were busy—not that it was taking many technicians and extra work to clean it.Unfortunately, the cost to clean it was NOT CLEARLY STATED EVER. Not verbally or in writing. It’s insane that it’s less expensive to buy a new carpet than to get one cleaned.ORIGINAL review: My husband dropped off our 10x14 area carpet for cleaning. He was told it would be 2 weeks. We called after 2 weeks, but it was still not ready. Three weeks later I call again to see if it’s ready and it was… but the cost is $794… ALMOST EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS to clean it?! That’s more than I paid for the carpet!! I have no idea how they can justify that. So upset as I thought they were a reputable company.

Excellent experience with Red Baron Carpet cleaning. I went with a carpet cleaning service as a step before replacing living room, 2 bedrooms and hallway carpeting ( stains, spills, grease, etc. from "guests" and pets....). He explained he would pre- treat stains and do his best. The carpets came out looking like new! ALL stains were removed. Fantastic job. The worker was meticulous. If you want your carpets professionally cleaned by someone who knows what they are doing I highly recommend Red Baron Carpet Cleaning out of Newtown.

The sales staff guided me to a vinyl tile I hadn't originally considered, and they were SO right. Red Baron was able to schedule the installation when I needed it, and it went exactly as promised; and the new floor looks (and feels underfoot) absolutely fabulous -- much better than what I'd had before, and even better than I'd imagined.
