Everyone is always so pleasant and kind to work with and my pups love it there. I have one girl who is very untrusting and after her first day there she was willing to go back again, now she’s even excited when she’s dropped off, which says more than I ever can about the care they give the animals in their facility. Thank you all for always take such great care of these crazies whether it be in daycare or boarding.

Puppy chewed through wire. I was afraid she swallowed some. Within 15 mins of my call. I had an appointment with X-rays done. She did have metal in her belly. No surgery needed. Just poop it out follow up X-ray. 2 days later. The care she received was fantastic and I’m so happy I am we are with this vet

This place is very modern being built and opening only 2-3 years ago. It is a combination Vet hospital, training facility and daycare center. The staff was very helpful, professional and knowledgeable during my appointment. My dog was getting some specialized veterinary tests done and seemed comfortable during each one.

As any pet owner knows, making a decision on where to board your “family member” is huge. Questions like, will she get enough attention, will they treat her kindly and will she enjoy herself may run through your mind. Pleasant Paws does a fantastic job of helping to alleviate those questions/concerns. The staff is friendly, helpful, and most importantly, they truly care about providing a good experience for their customers. Our bulldog is happy to spend time here….which gives us one less thing to worry about….which is why we keep coming back.

Have been with Mt Pleasant for approximately 10-15 years with many pets (4 cats and at least 2-3 dogs). Whether for pet care or kenneling they have been 10 STARS for us always. They tend to our pets as if the pets were there own.Would recommend they 100% and have in the past.Keep up the great work and the addition of Pleasant Paws Pet Center is a GREAT bonus.

Only have great things to say about pleasant paws! . They took wonderful care of my 12 yr old silky terrier fur baby who has some health issues which require 4 medications daily.She remained very happy and healthy during the lengthy 18 night stay. Staff was amazing, gave her lots of love and sent regular updates and pics. Highly recommend!

We love it here! My dog Comet loves daycare and gets so excited he wags his whole body when he knows he's going. We call it going to see his friends and he goes crazy. I have been recommending Pleasant Paws to everyone I know with a dog. The staff there are amazing, helpful and friendly! Photo for evidence, that's one happy dog.

My dog and two cats have been going to Pleasant Paws for vet care, grooming, and boarding since we moved to the area about three years ago! We can't say enough great things about this facility - it is clean, professional, and the staff are incredible. We often work with Noor and Sy to do all of our scheduling and they are truly one of Pleasant Paws' greatest assets! Not to mention, our pets love visiting (I think they spoil them!!). We are so lucky we found Pleasant Paws!

We had to bring in one of our bunnies for wound care. The staff was friendly, we didn't have to sit in the waiting room long, Dr. Mangold was very nice, efficient and explained things very well. Very happy with them and will be bringing all my animals here from now on. We have 24- dogs, cats, bunnies, guinea pigs, a bearded dragon and a corn snake.

I drove about an hour from New haven to go to this Veterinary office. My turtle was sick m Dr. Mangold was incredible and helped us get to the root of the problem. It was definitely worth the ride. The facility is clean. Beautiful, and has kind staff there. 10/10

I can’t say enough about pleasant paws!Beautiful, clean and welcoming. The staff goes out of their way to take care of us.It’s so great that they are located close to my work. Moscato can’t wait to go to play care!He loves it there and they all love him💕Also to open a place like this during a pandemic with so many people getting pets. Not being able to work at full capacity with very limited staff, being a small business owner myself I am so impressed with how they have managed all of this.. GREAT JOB everyone💕

We went to Dr Vali and Dr Mangold to help with the pregnancy, birthing and post pregnancy of our 2 Corgis. They had 3 puppies and unfortunately 1 needs surgery. Everyone at Pleasant Paws and specifically Dr Mangold has been VERY helpful and supportive. thank you all.

We have been bringing our Newfoundland there for close to 2 years for daycare. Lexi has come to love the staff just like family! She gets so excited when I tell her we are going to doggie daycare, and when she arrives she needs to say hello to the desk staff, especially Noor and Sahiba. Lexi knows the exact door to go to, to get into her day of fun! She will even bark to let everyone know she’s waiting there. She loves all of the staff, but especially enjoys her time when Ryan is there! He always takes the time to chat at pick up to share about her day and talk about her friends, habits and all things Lexi! We absolutely love Pleasant Paws and I trust them implicitly with the care of our gentle giant.

First time we took our dog for grooming was about a year and a half ago. We were so happy with her cut, she got a report card and we thought we'd found our groomer! Tried to book another appointment a few months later and were told they didn't have a groomer any more. About 6 months ago we found out that they had a groomer so we went back. When my dog was dropped off we were told the groomer was running late, they took our dog and because they have daycare, we wrongly assumed she was going to play with the other dogs while waiting. Cut was fine, not as good as the first but figured it was a new groomer. We went a few weeks ago and when we dropped off, again groomer was running late. This time we suspected that our dog was being caged. We waited 2 hours for the groomer to call as they're supposed to do so for directions on cut. We had to call, and at pick up our dog was very anxious. Cut is not good, called and confirmed they are not cage free. Will not return.

Every doctor at Pleasant Paws and Mount Pleasant Animal Hospital has taken the best of care with our 2 mini-dachshunds. They are getting older and I find they are so gentle with our senior dogs. I would recommend highly as I have had nothing but positive experiences and have been bringing our dogs there for 11 years.

Highly recommend PPPC. We brought our severely anxious pup here for boarding. The staff went above and beyond getting to know him and spending time with him. He was previously not socialized with other dogs and they even spent the extra time introducing him into their play area where he learned to enjoy time with other dogs. They go above and beyond just caring for your dogs basic needs- they are true dog lovers and care for your dogs happiness as well. I will never board my dog anywhere else. FIVE PAWS!!

The experience overall was great and made us feel at ease leaving him for the first time. Really appreciated the daily pictures to provide an update on his stay. Only thing that didn't meet our expectation was the nail trimming on his last day. His back right paw is sore due the nail being cut to low, and is tender to the touch. Will not allow his nails to be trimmed here in the future, but would recommend the facility for boarding and play care but advices to skip the going home bath with nail trimming.

Jayda was boarding for almost a week and I can’t thank them enough for their patience and diligence. She is a nine year old lab who has never been away from home. They saw how upset she was and knew just what to do. Thank you for all the letters from Jayda and pics! We really appreciated it💖💕I know Jayda did too!

Great place for your dog. Responsible staff. They are on top of checking the necessary vaccine and test to keep all dog safe and healthy when they are together. Staff are wonderful. My dog Heisen can’t wait to get out of the car to go inside and play with his friends.

EDIT: I appreciate the quick response from Pleasant Paws and it is clear the feedback was heard. Bear had another stay this past weekend and it was great to hear from the staff via the detailed email received (with cute pics of Bear in action!), the reception noting how much fun he had, and the staff member who brought him out. They even helped put him in my car for me and said he was a staff favorite whenever he visited. Small touches like this make the whole experience feel so much more personalized and like they truly care. Thanks Pleasant Paws :)—Pleasant Paws Pet Center has the potential to be a really wonderful facility. The facility is beautiful, clean, and I can tell our dog, Bear, has a great time whenever we book him for stay-and-play boarding - he sprints in circles outside of the daycare doors and can barely wait for his own “vacation”! It’s so important to feel like your pet is safe and having fun when boarding them, which is why we have been, and will continue to be returning customers.What holds Pleasant Paws back from being “great” is the customer service element. Every time we’ve boarded Bear it has felt completely transactional. We hand them his food, they take him to the back, and move on to the next person.Whenever I pick him up I always ask how was his stay? And there’s no personalized response, just always “good” before moving on to the next customer. I’ve received the “report cards” before which was an email with a picture (which was nice to see!) and 1 sentence that said “I am having a great sunny day and eating my meals/drinking normally”.To me, it feels like it’s “just a job” to everyone working there. It would be great to see the staff show more enthusiasm and personalized care as they are being trusted with people’s furry family members.Overall as said previously, what’s most important is feeling like your pet is safe and that is why we will continue to board Bear at Pleasant Paws, however I’d love to see them continuing to improve in the future!
