I don’t know where to begin the incompetence of the staff pharmacy unlocked a new level for me, the inconsistency of the staff, my medications are never ready, the pharmacist Tonya herself keeps just lying and ignoring patients, I have transferred my medications over a month ago to a new pharmacy and I’m still having to show up to this store to speak to Tonya herself and she still has no answer, no medication, no disposition to help me either, the store manager is nowhere to be found, corporate does nothing with the complaints, it is so sad and frustrating this pharmacy needs to be looked at and handled, this is not the way to treat a patient who has a need for medication.

Walgreens is where I do most of my banking. I use Chime and store policy allows me to add cash to my cards, cash app, chime, ect. For no fees!I don't use them for prescriptions because they are short on pharmacists and can shut down unannounced which had left me out of my meds for a few days. I hope they get their pharmacy together.

One of the worst customer service I have ever seen. They make it hard for people to get their prescriptions. When you call the pharmacy they answer and put you on hold, just to hang up on you after being on hold for almost 20 minutes. They are incredibly rude and hard to deal with. I’m surprised it’s not closed down yet. Unprofessional!!

If I could give ZERO stars I would. Horrible service pharmacy and store I placed an order for same day delivery. They sent a text saying sorry my order is delayed no contact at all for 2 and a half hours. Called them of course I get the back and forth no one would pick up in the photo department (they handle the orders). Unbelievable! I had to call the number listed for issues to get my order cancelled oh and that was after the store hung up on the Customer Rep who was trying to help me. Unbelievable and appalled. You need to do better!

The cashier was nice. I love the chocolate chip cookies but the Oreo gingerbread cookies were very sweet. I had an issue with the flashdrive in that it didn't connect immediately like it was supposed to when plugged into my laptop and a video system to play a PowerPoint presentation. I will most likely return it. During my visit the store was fairly busy but I didn't have to wait too long when it was time to checkout.

My mother has been having nothing but problems using Walmart Pharmacy in New Haven, Ct at 87 Foxon St. They continually give her issues with her prescriptions where they won’t tell her which of her medications are filled when specifically asked. She has had so many problems she told them she wanted her prescriptions transferred to a different location which they blatantly ignored! Then when she tried having a prescription called into the new Walgreens location she wanted to use she was never told the New Haven office had the order sitting there. Long story short I went with my elderly mom to pick up her blood pressure medication which she hasn’t been able to take for 4 days and when she was finally told by the new pharmacy it was sitting to be picked up at the previous location. So we get all the want to the New Haven location and get in line to only be told by the general store manager pictured in this complaint that the pharmacy was closing due to sickness. There were 5 other customers in line and when I explained how this was an emergency and my mother needed to get her blood pressure pill the general manager did NOT CARE!!!! I’m guessing his name may have been Roble by the pic I took but told him if something were to happen I would personally be holding him and Walgreens liable. He still didn’t care! He was not empathetic, nor showed any remorse to that fact that my mother could have a heart emergency without her medication. When I saw there was 1 person behind the counter I inquired and said you mean knowing this medication is for a heart condition and knowing your pharmacy was neglectful in getting her prescription to her in time that you’re not willing to allow her to get her med with the other 5 customers his answer was “No because there could also be someone else who comes in also!” This general manager does NOT belong manager and should be fired IMMEDIATELY for risking the health and well being of a customer on heart medications.I was so upset when I left the store I immediately contacted the North Haven Walgreens pharmacy and spoke to the pharmacist on an urgent basis. He without hesitation transferred (all) my moms prescription and not just the heart medication she needed. We immediately went to that pharmacy to pick it up.I will be leaving reviews and sharing this info all over social media due to the continued and constant incompetence and risk not only the New Haven pharmacy put my mother at but also the general manager of the store who did NOT care if a patient lost their life!

I have been calling for several days trying to get through, but no one answers. I called again today waited on hold for an HOUR AND A HALF to speak to the pharmacy for a refill for my epileptic child that I was told would be ready 3 weeks ago. A woman finally answered, asked for the DOB twice and I had to repeat myself as far as what I needed. She put me on hold, came back and hung up. I called back and was pushed to the back of the line in the queue with the recording "more than 3 callers ahead of you". She never tried to call me back either. I called back and asked for a mgr. The manager didn't apologize, just told me it's "the phones" then dumped me into another phone hunt line where it rung then hung up on me. I called back and spoke to the mgr again who told me they have several issues that need to be fixed in the store but there's no resolution so he said I should just drive down. Wow. They're a disgrace over there. I usually use the Walgreens in my area but they didn't have this particular medication. I'll travel farther even away to avoid them next time. Or, just switch pharmacies altogether if this is how Walgreens treats their customers.

I have been sick for several days, my doctor send me a prescription for some medication and called on Wednesday and they said it was not ready and then I when on Thursday and the lady, very nice told me to came back on the afternoon before 4pm as it was not ready. When I when back in the afternoon I when around 2:30pm, it was close when I when to the front and ask if they were running late, the manager said they were close for the day and told me to came back the next day. So I did and when around 9:30am and I was shock when I saw the note saying that the pharmacy was not going to open that day, I ask again and they confirmed. So I called my doctor to switch pharmacy. As Its not the first time this happened, this pharmacy for several months has been slacking. They don’t pay enough so no one want to work there, that’s why the shortage the schedule and always understaffed. So sad as it’s very convenient for me and my family but now I have to look for another pharmacy for my parents as we all used the same pharmacy. Very sad that they are short of staff all the time or close because they don’t have anyone to run the pharmacy, and no one want to work there because they are not paying enough, they are loosing people and that’s not good for business.

Went to this Walgreens branch yesterday.Wanted to get a copy of a picture from my cell phone.After talking to service specialist, I was told that their machines weren't working properly all day.Noticed they had a sale for some chips that I wanted.After standing in a very long line at checkout due to shortage of staff,The checkout person said that she could only accept very small bills due to not having enough change to break a $20.00 bill.Also, when she rang up my items,she rang it up at the wrong price.She told me that I could only receive the discount with having a Walgreens card.I told her that it didn't say this at the display sale.All in all,this was a HORRIBLE experience with them not being able to satisfy any needs.It would seem that management is absent with caring for their customers.I will very soon make a change to a caring pharmacy that is able to happily satisfy their customers.Maybe management is only there as a pencil pusher.

I had a good visit at Walgreens. The staff was very helpful and attentive to my needs. Unfortunately the ear buds that I purchased were a waste of my money and I would not recommend buying them again. They lose their shape and do not stay wrapped around the ear like they should. The store was well stocked and maintained. I would visit this location again.

To put it bluntly, somebody needs to put this company out of its misery. The pharmacy is an absolute joke, the line is out the door and it moves at a snail's pace. They probably can't get enough workers because nobody wants to work that awful job for a starvation wage..I don't even blame them. What was once a paragon of customer service is now a mockery of it. If I was dying and my medication could only be picked up at Walgreens, I would simply just close my eyes and embrace my eternal rest; and hopefully Walgreens follows suit.

The pharmacy is awful. I had been using this pharmacy for about 20 years and it has gotten worse and worse. Most recently I had requested a prescription be refilled and they said oh yeah there's still active refills on it and I came back more than a week later to have them say oh no you need to call the doctor because it's an expired refill and they never faxed us back. My problem was not that I have to call the doctor but that they never called to tell us that and they said well you should have gotten a text and I said I've never gotten texts about anything from Walgreens and they were like well you're going to have to call the doctor. Literally they had over 10 days to let us know but never did and acted lile it was my fault. Switching pharmacies and it won't be another Walgreens.

I'm not really sure what is going on in the pharmacy. This is the fourth time they texted that my script was ready. Went there, waited for 30 minutes to be told its not ready and will be tomorrow. My doctor sent the medication script last Saturday its been over a week and this is medication I cannot go without. You call to speak with a manager and just get hung up on. Get it together.

Sat on hold for 20 minutes to speak with pharmacy only to have them disconnect the call. Tried again same thing after 10 mins, flowed prompts for stor manager...after another 15 mins I hung up. I have been waiting for 3 days on scripts that say "in process " and been without for 2. My daughter is right I should just move to rite aide

By far the worst customer service I have received. I had a Covid test scheduled and called to confirm this ( as I had another test canceled by Walgreens the day before) and the person who answered not only confirmed that they did not have any tests available, but also that they did not even have the type of test that I had scheduled available ever. At least the other location had the curtesy to call and tell me that they had false information on their website. If you actually need anything specific definitely call ahead and confirm because booking does not mean they will actually help you.

This pharmacy is literally not answering their phones. I spent 2 hours on hold, almost half of which I was the second in the queue. I just needed a prescription transferred as I’m out of town for an extended period of time. This is so unacceptable when peoples’ health becomes jeopardized. Do NOT trust this pharmacy with your prescriptions.

Pharmacy closes down for days at a time with no notice and when they r open they don't do anything! This is by far the worst run Walgreens I've ever dealt with. If it wasn't nextdoor to my house I'd go elsewhere.

I picked up a photo order at this store. There is a white line going through all of my prints. Instead of giving me a discount or other benefit for my time and the inconvenience, the manager refused and instead argued with me that I should just take a refund and return the product.

Very desapionted about today phone call to pharmacy because they hang up in my face 3 time and the 4th call the lady answer and say may i help you and i told her why they hang up in my face 3 times and she goes ok and i told her well are you going to say sorry or not and she didnt care and told me again how may i help you again smh, they need better system and staff that are not rude🤦😏😡

When it comes to having clear parking lots when it snows Walgreens on 87 Foxon st. in New Haven get a solid F+. At 11am I went to pick up a script parking lot was full of snow I'm disabled and have both my feet bandaged I could go in there because the whole lot was snow filled so i say to myself "surely by 2:45pm it should be a go" nope stupid me gets yelled at by the thugs clearing snow in the parking lot that I couldnt park in the handicap spots they where shoveling at 2:45pm. I left cause they had guys and trucks clearing the lot at 2:45pm literally nowhere to park with these clowns milling about with shovels and trucks either management is soft and they won't get new people to shovel or its his friends business whatever the case 2:45 in the afternoon clearing snow in a major store chain where people cant even park is so unacceptable iam so mad I just wanted to get my meds and go home and rest but the Bumbling brothers snow plow guys work whenever its convient for them and don't you try to patronize the store thats paying them because those idiots got work to do shame on Walgreens for allowing this
