My partner and I had a great experience at Mew Haven. We visited the kitties and were able to adopt Colby. The staff was kind, and the application to adopt we filled out prior was simple and clear. Plus, the coffee was good. Thanks for helping us find our new son😻

A fun and unique experience! The cats were wonderful and the staff very friendly. Parking is easy, sorta across the street and the whole experience was a blast. It took a lot of self control to not leave without adopting one of the cats.The drink and food selection was also pretty good. Both hot and cold drink options and some snacks, including vegan cookies.My only complaint is how far away it is from our house.

We loved our first visit to Mew Haven! Staff was knowledgeable & kind, they were patient explaining the rules to a pair of young children. The cat profiles & where to pet guides were great! Love how each cat is adoptable. Thank you Mew Haven Cat Cafe!

This was our very first time at a cat cafe. We loved it! The cats are so cute and playful. A lot of them were sleepy though. The ones that were awake were very friendly. It was so fun to play with them. We both got drinks, they weren’t great but they weren’t terrible either. They were okay. I got a cinnamon roll with strawberry icing on it. It was so good!! Perfect amount of sweetness. The staff here are so nice and informative. Overall we had a great experience. This is great for college students, we received a discount for that. It’s minutes away from my college. It’s also great for kids, there were many kids there and they had so much fun playing with cats. 10/10 would come here again.

It was such a great experience! I love cats and this place provides a wonderful space and environment for all different kinds of kitty personalities. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and it wasn’t long enough. Next time I am booking extra time. The staff was welcoming and friendly. I hope to visit again and adopt

My daughter and I really enjoyed our time with the cats today! It was a beautiful experience! Everyone was super friendly! We also really enjoyed our coffees! Soooo fun!!! What a great concept if you’re wanting to adopt a cat, to have that time to spend with them!! It was a beautiful place, very peaceful!

CT’S FIRST CAT CAFE!I had the pleasure of visiting this cat cafe with my family during my visit back to my home state. One hour of cats, CATS AND MORE CATS!! 🐱 🐱 What more could you ask for?!?All the cats are adoptable and the cafe provides plenty of enrichment and spaces for them to just CAT! Even the bathroom is decked out with a small cat tree on the wall, so if you do need to do your business, just know you may not do it in private. 😹I did not try any drinks, but I did snag myself a nice bag to support this wonderful cause.

I had a most enjoyable time. I recently lost a cherished cat of almost 14 years. This is the first time in about 20 years that I don't have a cat running around the house. It is now way too quiet. Spending time at the cafe was good for me. I loved interacting with most of them. I'll definitely return in the near future.

Amazing place and great treats for humans too. So struck I'm trying to get two of them but if it were up to me I'd get them all. Joe and Ray... some of the beautiful cats available 04/24 are sweet hearted. Staff amazing and the matcha is the best I've had. ( with oat milk) with luck I'll have these two beauties in my home asap.

Awesome cat cafe! So glad we have one in CT. A handful of the cats will scratch and bite however, but playfully so be wary. Some cats are spicy so it's important to look at their bios on the wall before you start petting any

I went for a crafting event and plan on going back for more and just because. Everyone is so nice and welcoming. The cats are so funny and cute. I may get a cat in the future, and if I do, I definitely will adopt through them. They know their personalities well and take care of the cats even if there are a lot there. The cats were all really cute when we went! They give warnings on which ones are more on the feisty end and which are friendlier, as well as where each cat likes to be pet. I went with a bunch of friends and we all took turns pointing out different cats to each other. A lot of them were sleepy, but considering we went on a warm afternoon, what else could you expect?

We went to the cat cafe today for my birthday. It was so much fun!! There were so many cats and the cats were so cute! Many of them let you pet them and a couple of them even let you hold them. It was a wonderful experience and we would definitely go again!

It was such a fun time visiting MewHaven for the NYE event on December 30! The staff was so sweet and awesome and the other folks in our time window were all about the cats and helped create a good atmosphere. It was great to meet Scrunchy and Bug before their adoption dates as well as some new kitties: Jafar, Pamela, Phoebe, and Patrick. <3

I love cat cafes. These sweet babies were the best to sip coffee and spend an hour with. Just remember to check in at the Cafe side first and then go around the little alley to the second door and that's where you go in at. And of course, read the sign before you walk in. Wait until they let you in just so the kitties don't get out. I, apparently, can't follow directions. 😂

Probably my favorite place on Earth 😭 Drink prices were reasonable, the barista was friendly, and the atmosphere was cute, cozy, and clean. And of course CATS!! 10/10 definitely hope to come back soon!!

What an awesome place! Went for extended hours. The cafe had a huge variety at excellent prices. The lady at counter was very nice. Kitty area had about 15 kitties. Had an awesome time going around and watching and petting them all. They had tons of room toys and space. Counter lady checked on us to make sure we were doing alright. Loved the relaxed atmosphere. Would love to go back again. Highly recommend for kitty lovers and relaxation.Love the tarot with kitties event!

We recently adopted Mr Grey, an older cat. Halfway Home Rescue and Mee Haven Cat Cafe were wonderful in arranging everything. Getting my application approved only took a few days. Everything went so smoothly and Grey is settling in and now is King Grey master of all he surveysThank you

I am NOT a cat person but I attended with my family. The space was smaller than we imagined, but the cats were extremely well taken care of. Fun to see the different cats’ personalities. Great idea to support animal rescue even if you’re not ready to adopt.

The staff were great.They explained the process and knew all the cats, what they liked and didn’t like.And the cats were so sweet, I wanted all of them lol.The place is very clean and the cats look very well cared for. Oh, and the cappuccino was good too 😁

The Outside of the cat cafe was less than desirable with mildew all over the awnings. The woman at the front was not very welcoming and friendly. The cafe part was very small and not quaint. I expected more of the cafe with fresh foods to choose from and a more pleasant atmosphere. The cat portion smelled a bit harsh when entering. However, the atmosphere where the cats were located was fantastic. The cats were beautiful and it was a fun experience. The girls helping could have been a bit more interactive and not on their labtops but they were helpful if you asked. I think if they were there to explain the cats personalities and what they liked would have been fun. All and all I don’t think I would return because I drove and hour to get there. If I lived close by I might go again, not really sure. All and all I think the cafe and outside needs a facelift with some beautiful decor to give a more pleasant feel with a friendly kind person in the cafe - I think it would be a better success.

Mew Haven Cat Cafe is the place to be if you love furry feline friends, yummy treats, and kind people who also love animals. We had a great time visiting with the bebes even though they were pooped from a busy day of cat yoga and entertaining human kiddos at a birthday party before our visit. Very chill, clean environment with staff who clearly care about and take solid care of the kitties 🐱

This place is wonderful. Not only is it lovely to have a place dedicated to helping rescue cats find FURR-ever homes, but also for people to come and enjoy and spend some time. Each cat has a profile so you can see how "spicy" aka feisty they are vs. friendly. I brought my 5 year old but with very clear boundaries and understanding. He had a great time playing with cats and even just seeing all the sleeping cats around. There were playful cats as well as sleepy cats and antisocial cats around the room (24 cats total on the day of our visit). Very clean! 50 minutes is a good amount of time. I don't think at this price you'll be disappointed in your experience. Thanks again!
