My family and I decided to go into this place to get a quick snack. WORST. DECISION. EVER. The woman at the register (Asian lady) was so rude. I touched a snack and put it back in its place since I didn’t want it. Then when we went to pay she started rudely saying “where’s my candy” and telling me that they have cameras. My family and I were super confused to what she was even taking about but then she pointed me out saying that I touched her candy and that there’s camera everywhere capturing me. Like ok?? I don’t care that there’s cameras and her candy was right where it was when I entered. She was accusing me of stealing and kept asking where her candy was. I told her it was “right there” and she told me to go get it and I did. I showed her that I had ZERO intention of stealing her dumb candy. If she’s so scared of someone stealing candy then that’s a her problem and she needs to work on it. Instead of being rude and treating me and my family like robbers. In conclusion go to this place if you want ur day out with your family ruined and to see a rude lady obsessed with her merchandise.

Avoid this shop like the plague. It's conveniently located near campus, and the management takes advantage of that fact regularly. Prices are NOT adequately displayed in the store so it is difficult to know how much something costs or to dispute the price. It is legal robbery at this point. The only redeeming qualities are that the second and third shift employees are nice, and they are open 24/7.

I ordered a sandwich at Good Nature Market via Snackpass. The worker there could not make my sandwich in time for my class (I had about 5 min before my section started), so I asked very nicely if they could move my order back. They forcibly cancelled my order when I explicitly told them no don't do that. It felt like my voice as a customer was not important.Furthermore, they really need to start putting price tags on all items. All of their food are overpriced as they take advantage of the inelastic demand of Yale students. I spent $15 on a bag of gummies and a chocolate bar last time I went, and didn't realize it because they didn't have any of the prices up near the items. This is deceptive pricing and a sign of corrupt business practice.

The only reason I come here is because of its location. The service is really bad here. Lots of food here is expired, and everything is extremely overpriced. I've gotten multiple moldy items from this market while paying too much for it in the first place!! The man who makes sandwiches at the deli bar is very blatantly rude to customers - I've been yelled at many times. However, the man who works the register on night shift (Angelo) is super cool. He's the best worker

i went in to ask for a bag even offered to pay for it. the asian lady at the counter was the WORST had a nasty attitude immediately ruined my day and i was having a good one. considering this is a hot spot for yale students she doesn’t need to be there. students are stressed with finals and she has the audacity. DO BETTER

Good Nature Market is okay, but the new management changed the entirety of this shop/café, definitely enjoyed this site more when it was known as Gourmet Heaven....The quality of service was by far more personable, the food was much more appetizing, the floral arrangements/bouquets and fruit options were ample to choose from, the general items and selection were good as well...Gourmet Heaven was pricey as well, but the experience at least for me was enjoyable. - Good Nature Market isn't horrible, just not a favorite if I'm being completely honest; everything is overpriced, the options throughout the store are limited and the service isn't all that as well, nice location on Broadway though!

I would come here on a regular basis as it was close to work. I do enjoy the food and still do, even after finding hairs in my muffin. I was at first a bit displeased with the fact that I had been handed the muffin that I did ask for. My displeasure grew to pure dread towards the establishment when I found myself flossing with the hair of another man (or woman I don’t know). The hair is light colored, about 2.5 inches in length, crimped in places, and was stuck in my teeth. I thank the nice people who work here for looking out for my dental hygiene. May the health inspectors have mercy on you.

Yea the new owners are not as friendly as the last owners but the food is still great there and the prices are the same and they have so many things to choose from for breakfast and dinner you can definitely rack up a bill here but trust it is worth the trip.for breakfast I only get egg and cheese but dinner I could be there all day...good good. Five stars for good food and not raising the prices and being local..

The store owners are SO RUDE! My husband and I walked in for some breakfast to-go around 830am on a Saturday. The place was nearly empty. The store owner was behind the deli counter preparing food. Being that it was our first time in the store, we were taking our time with the menu and asking some clarifying questions. My husband ordered something, but they did not have pork so he had to pick something else. He asked a few more questions about the menu and For whatever reason this set the owner off and he went on to call my husband STUPID and his order stupid! You cannot treat your customers like this.I was so terribly turned off by this experience and I will never be returning.

Even though there's a hot line... There's little to no variety on a weekly basis. There Needs to be 3 people during busy hours behind the deli counter. If hot line is bad , the wait time for a sandwich is too long

No price tags so you don't know you're paying triple what you should be paying until you get to the register. And you have to ask for receipts. Not worth shopping here at all. So unreasonably overpriced, you just throw money away. Plus I've found expired products multiple times, and the produce and lunch meat always look bad. They have a good selection of drinks and snacks and it's a convenient location, but it feels worse throwing away so much money just because its convenient than just shopping elsewhere.

Absolutely terrible people at the front. This asian woman was so rude and would not let me use the restroom even though we had purchased food before. I then had to take out my used dishes as proof to show her and she then still proceeded to accuse me of using someone else's leftover plate. This place does not give an ounce of respect to its customers. Incredibly unfriendly and rude.

Nice little market, well located between Yale's Old Campus area and the area of the Yale Bookstore and Ezra Stiles College, so convenient for small stops. Has a great in-store eating area, both on the main level and upstairs. You can buy prepared food by the pound to eat-in or take-out. Given the small space, they have an excellent variety of products. Staff seems friendly and helpful.

Lots of choices of prepared food: hot bar and sandwiches and soups made to order. Nice eating area near the windows. Clean. Good range of packaged products on the shelf. Happy to find baked goods from Bread and Chocolate, including on one visit a multigrain cranberry nut loaf that no-one else seems to carry. Prices are a little on the high side, but they are in line with other businesses in the area.

very great sandwiches although the hospitality was very poor I wasn't sure if our presence was unwanted. my son and I sat in the back to eat our food near the huge window and this one worker kept commin back there checkin us out even began sweeping near our feet. and taking garbage out so close to out table that it was very evident he wanted us to leave.

Apparently when you take back your credit card, you must be extremely careful on not touching the cashier's hand. She yelled at me for mistakenly touching part of her finger as I grabbed my credit card back. Also she judged that I grabbed "too much" noodle soup? I'm not sure how that's even possible since it's a container given by them and that's not even the issue, I am paying for the soup it's not as if I ran out of there stealing so in conclusion just terrible customer service.

I work very close to the Good Nature Market and find the prices for normal grocery items to be 3 to 5 times more expensive than normal market prices. I spent many years working in NYC and patronized very similar establishments. Good Nature Market has consistently delivered bad customer service for me. I've even experienced being sick after eating from their hot bar. I will not eat there or buy from them in the future.

The staff is really nice and I regularly talk to them. A bit expensive but also one of the few easy accessible market places that has organic foods. The buffet is good and will usually be fully stocked until around midnight.

I really like their food selection, accommodates all types of consumers, dairy free, gluten free, meet free, vegan, etc. They have unique foods and food you've never seen before. Only 4 stars because they're so damn expensive. Open 24 hours which is awesome for me!

I frequent this place for lunch. They have a good variety of foods on the per lb. buffet and the sandwich station. Their array of salads are the things dreams are made of. It's a bit pricey but worth every penny.

Buffet table has a good variety of healthy assortments. Just have to get there early. The longer the food sits out they dont regulate the temperature/water for the steam table so the food does not dry out.
