If I could post zero stars, I would. This pharmacy is barely functioning! I am appalled by my experience. 3 hours after my medication was sent, the script was still not filled. When I called to inquire, I was put on hold for over 20 minutes! When I finally did get through the staff was mean and defensive, arguing that I should understand the difficulty they were having. Sorry, but my empathy runs out when I'm forced to go to the emergency department for intractable vomiting and dehydration because I can not get access to my medication ALL DAY long! This pharmacy should be ASHAMED!! Do Better!!!!

Dreadful service in the pharmacy. Prescription was called in, insurance approved, and 24hrs later still no fill. Dr tried to help out and call directly, but CVS would not answer the Dr phones. When I went in I was instructed to wait in front of 3 staff who refused to recognize me, and they still could not fill. Threw my cvs card in the bin, done.

The pharmacy does not answer their phone. I’ve called so many times throughout the week and at one point waited 30mins before I gave up. Try another pharmacy the one on Dixwell seems to be operating. It’s so frustrating.

The absolute worst when it comes to calling to check on your prescription. I'm on hold listening to the same song rotate for a half hour now. Every time! I'm going to stay on speaker phone just to see if a pharmacist or a CSR will actually pick up.

On 3/29/2022 at 7:26 PM I arrived to CVS to pick up a few items. There were 2 items I needed that was locked up and needed assistancte.. I informed 2 young ladies that I needed help and they claim they “called for a Manager” but failed to do so. After waiting for 10 mins still no one showed. The girls noticed me waiting a while then tried to call for a manager “Natasha” . I waited for almost another 15 min and still no help.. I would never step into this store again as I always do for my daily needs. This store failed today…

I was held up by my pescription billing, because they didnt know how to enter it correctly in the computerSystem, And the manager would not let me use the restroom! That's a poor costumer service manager decision. They have employee restrooms that are available.On top of the rude attitude! My last CVS visit!

I come here all the time, most of the Pharmaceuticals are very nice. However, the tall lady with the braids, is extremely impatient and nasty. It wasn't professional for her to yell cross the store. On what I should do or need to do. So let me tell you what she needs, an ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT.

Wish i read the reviews before coming here. I'd give ZERO stars if I could. I will absolutely never ever come back.The pharmascist was EXTREMELLY RUDE & DISRESPECTFUL. So incredibly unprofessional and flat out disgusting display of behavior from pharmacist.

I’ve come multiple times to the pharmacy and I’m given the wrong prescription, charged for it even when I tried to verify what it was, then spoken to rudely about how I can’t get a refund for prescriptions that have been taken out of the store. Ridiculous that I’m penalized when the pharmacist couldn’t be bothered to explain what the script was before I took it. Rude and unprofessional staff

Recently changed my insurance and had to find a new find one in my network. After trying to find one close to where I live to no avail. I called CVS on Church Street and the pharmacist (Kim) was so pleasant and helpful I called a taxi and went directly there. When I went in the staff couldn't have been any nicer!! Filled my prescription within 15 minutes and one of the staff members even told me to try using baby shampoo on my glasses to keep them from fogging up when wearing my face mask for Covid Pandemic!! Transferring all my prescriptions there! 😷

Very nasty and trubled pharmacist who yesterday, for no reason cane on the phone screaming, refusing to give me medicines filled an already while hunging uo on me with untrue accusatiins not allowing me say one word. The store manager stood by her musconduct. Regretfully, as l had no problem transfer prescruotion to Walgreens treated me kundly, professuonally and efficuently

4 times I have tried to get a prescription filled and 4 times I have had issues with 2 different pharmacists. Both times I've been treated with nastiness becthey were stressed out. Today I tried to drop off a prescription and mentioned I wanted to wait. The pharmacist proceeded to loudly tell me she wasn't accepting any drop offs she had to many people to care for and to come back another time. Time to move on.

Staff is laughable. I live nearby but have started walking an extra block to the Rite Aid. Employees here will routinely be on personal phone calls over an earpiece while ringing you up. You have to stand there like an idiot and guess if their comments are directed at you or at the person on the other end of the phone.

This is an okay CVS. I would say that it's no better or worse than the next CVS. There is no drive-theu for the pharmacy due to being located in downtown (adjacent to the New Haven Green on the corner of Chapel & Church street).
