Just had the most lovely experience with Seth. They were so kind and attentive while checking out my items. They even noticed my partner had a cut on his arm and gave him a bandaid. We left feeling so great just by them being so kind and caring. Seth deserves a raise!!!

Believe it or not, this is actually not a bad Walgreens location. I am going to assume that it receives a bad rap because of its location in New Britain. However a book should not always be judged by its cover.Well this location is probably not the most clean and modern. The customer service at this location probably makes up for its lack of visual appeal. I recently went into the store and received the best customer service I’ve ever received in any Walgreens up to this point. I really can’t tell you much about the store’s inventory, or matters like that, Because nothing else stands out to me about that location other than the customer service.

How ya gonna have folks schedule an OPEN available appointment for the Flu Shots but then tell me “oh you gotta wait in line but will have to reschedule cause we are busy” THEN WHY EVEN HAVE THE DAMN AVAILABILITY OPEN ? be there 15 min early but they had me waiting almost 40 mins!? Then ya never sent my damn prescription to CVS cause ya just horrible in general.. Worse Walgreens hands down!! Ya do this everyday and need some better service!!! Slowest individuals!’

It’s insane at the amount of time you need to wait in the line wether it’s inside or drive thru. It’s ridiculous. You’ll go specify the meds you’re picking up. They acknowledge and read it back and give you half the things you mentioned and cancel out the rest like why ? Nobody has time to argue with people over these things honestly. Friendly staff for sure and they’re making due with what they got but it’s honestly insane

Been sitting in the drive thru of the pharmacy for 45 minutes. None of the techs said one word to us or looked our direction as I’m waiting I see a customer inside waiting as well sitting there just as long as I have. Both techs just keep walking by the window. Ridiculous!

All I do is get my medication’s there and I’m from Waterberry moved here to New Britain and I appreciate them. They always have my medication on time.

Used to be 24 hours and apparently they fired their night pharmacist or they quit either way .. Waited in pharmacy line for 1 hour and 10 mins..one lady working the register in pharmacy. Don’t send your meds there unless you have time to wait

I waited in the drive through for about 20 minutes before it was my turn. And when it was my turn, these people had me wait 10 whole minutes at the window for a prescription that should’ve been filled already. That’s unacceptable. If I get that text that my prescription is ready, I expect it to be ready to go when I get there. Not me sitting in my car waiting for 10+ minutes while the pharmacist and pharmacy techs take their time and laugh and fool around in there. The worst part is that I had to turn back around because they gave me the wrong meds. So I wasted my time waiting just to not even receive what I came for.

Worst Walgreens in New Britain. I went in to pick up my daughter medication and the line was literally half way to the front of the store. I was in line for 45 min before I decided I was just going to leave. Came back another day and same thing they are super slow. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone

This is the worst pharmacy in New Britain. People are slow, this lady was barely moving and looking around the window for my drug! Jeez, took me an hour to pickup

RIDICULOUS!!! the amount of time you wait in line through the drive through and inside for the pharmacy is insane. What is wrong with these people. My God, hire people!!! Talk about horrible customer service, and the people the have are slower than the tortoise! Come on! Curtis Jensen, Step it up! Stop being cheap, hire people and pay them good so they can stay. And Anna, red headed with glasses is so rude, she said in front of the entire line waiting to her coworker im taking one more customer and thats it I'm out. Shook her head like she dont care. She wasn't playing either, as soon as i got in my car she was walking out and got in her red bmw and drove off.

Don’t send your meds here unless you have no other choice. Sat in drive through for 20 mins just for them to close it with 4 cars infront of me and 3 behind. I go in and there is a line of 15 people literally the worst. Never again.

This is a terrible pharmacy. They simply don’t have enough staff and their system is too outdated. The pharmacy lines can take hours just to help 2 people. Literally had to wait behind ONE person in the drive thru line to pick up meds for 30 minutes when I got to the front they said it’s an issue with the system. The wait at this pharmacy is ALWAYS long for one issue or another.

Yet another Walgreens location that's actually remarkably clean, well-organized as usual, and polite & courteous staff. Everything I needed was easy enough to find and the prices, while expensive, were as expected for pharmacies nowadays. Overall, nothing earth shattering, but it was definitely a decent experience and I'd come back here in a pinch!

My prescriptions are routinely canceled with no explanation to be found, even when the store pharmacy manager is asked, the staff has a wildly high turnover and much of it seems unfamiliar with the processes. They are also generally severely understaffed, (I assume this accounts for the turnover) and wait times for the pharmacy are from 30-60 minutes inside, and 20-45 in the drive thru. I plan to continue my relationship with them, but only out of duress.

Everything is fine except there is always a 20-30 min wait inside and outside. For example, I waited in the drive thru for 15 minutes, went inside, waited for 8 min, and noticed there was no more line outside because it was one customer holding the line up outside. So, I went back outside because there were four people ahead of me still, and by the time I got back to the drive thru there was one car and it was only a 5 more-minute wait.

The staff are friendly and do their best with what they have.But the pharmacy is inefficient and the slowest I've experienced. I was in a line with 3 people ahead of me. It took about 20 minutes per person...so it took over an hour to pick up one prescription. And 2 of the 3 people ahead of me had to leave empty handed since prescriptions weren't ready after being told it was. The pharmacy is desperately understaffed hence the insane wait times.

just terrible. on hold 1 hour. call dropped. on hold another hour. call dropped. always take at least 45 mins to get my script because theres so many customers. they need more help in the pharmacy, it truly is run horribly. very disappointing, always a bad experience, unfortunately.

Zero stars should be an option. I booked my Covid booster several weeks ago at a location in New Britain. This was convenient to my work site. I was on time for my appointment, yet there were 4 to 5 people in line ahead of me also waiting. There was one pharmacy tech who started processing the line. Then by the time I got the head of the line a second pharmacy tech showed up. She was very polite and quiet, but extremely slow.. Several people behind me passed through the other pharmacy tech and we were all waiting for some type of service. Waiting waiting waiting, and the pharmacy tech who checked me in brings me my insurance cards. In the meantime I see that the other pharmacy tech is passing out forms to everybody that she is processed. So I asked about the forms and The tech tells me she’ll bring them to me when they print it out. Now we are like 40 minutes waiting at this point. The pharmacist calls my name and I approach the window. He tells me I must’ve been late and that he can’t administer the vaccine because they are going to lunch and they need to monitor my 15 minute recovery window. Now mind you all the other people in front of me had a covid booster shot, because there’s no discretion in this pharmacy. None of them were monitored or waited for the 15 minutes clearance. I explained to the pharmacist that I was there on time. He was a total zero in terms of customer service. I will never go to Walgreens for anything again. And this is strike too because several weeks ago my son needed to have a PCR test, which I paid over $100 for, and have yet to receive any results. Poor poor poor poor poor service, unacceptable.

It just keeps getting worse, time to change my pharmacy.ALWAYS a line, yet not always busy. If you try to use the drive through, like today, there's a sign that says "the service isn't available".I first tried to pick up prescriptions at 11AM, no luck.Almost 9PM, same thing.If you need prescriptions filled, CVS nearby seems to not have this problem.

Walgreens on Washington St Needs some serious Customer Service training and possibly new management…. It has been several occasions now that i go to this Walgreens just to purchase a Tylenol.. Since they are under lock and key, i had to press a button to be helped and waited at least 10minutes before i had to go to the front register to ask for help, but when i did she responded that she could not leave the register and that the person in the Pharmacy should be able to help… i go the the person at the pharmacy and he told be that, THAT was not his job! All this For ONE bottle!!!!! Im sorry but if i were a mystery shopper id have given them a complete FAIL!

The worse experience ever. Booked Covid-19 test for my 3 years old child. There is no sign outside where testing supposed to be performed, waited 15 minutes on the phone, no one answered. I went inside the pharmacy and was told to wait in the drive through line which probably would take me at least 45 minutes. Policy states that after 5 minutes appointment will be canceled. Pharmacy refused to perform test inside. I spoke with the manager and in response just got “write a complaint”.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST PHARMACY ON THE PLANET. GO ELSEWHERE AND AVOID THE MIGRAINE. After reading reviews.....I'm wondering if this so-called pharmacy staff are telling people their Rx is ready, (but it's really not) just to get people in the door so they'll spend money while waiting for their Rx's to be ready. Good Lord!! thought it was just me that had an AWFUL experience !! Was I ever wrong 😒 Really Walgreens ???!!! 😵‍💫🤥🤦🏻‍♀️

Edited 12/5/2021If you want to help the pharmacy staff, take your prescriptions anywhere else; they can't keep up with the volume, here. They are understaffed, and too often people have to come back a second or third time to get their prescription filled.Walgreen pharmacy is bad, and this one is among the worst. So, let's lighten their load and go elsewhere. Beacon Pharmacy and CVS have downtown locations and a lesser wait.---------The wait after work for a prescription is Awful. Only one pharmacist for pickup. Certainly there staffing people know this because it's ALWAYS this way.SHAME!

Don't think I have ever seen a business with such a low score. It's scary to imagine what all the other people must be going through but for me it's so slow. You'll save time going pass this place and to CVS. I walked in grabbed a Powerade walked to the front with one customer and one cashier. After standing there for about 10 mins while she continues to press buttons and stare at the screen and the customer keeps trying to make phone calls put money in his account or w.e.e but either way I'm sitting there and the worker is not explaining what is going on or anything so I decided to just walk out and grab my drink from a corner store down the street. Also this is the only business Ive seen with a police officer on sight. Who knows what goes on here. Store is also pretty dirty cobwebs and brown on white walls haha.

Today 10/09/22 I stopped to pu some needed supplies. I made sure each iteam was approved OTC. Upon checking out the cashier at approximately 1.00 pm said the iteams weren't otc. I said I checked, she said ( WHAT YOU CANT READ? /WELL IDK, I WORK THE REGISTER? /WHATEVER? ARE YOU PAYING CASH? IM NOT EXSPLAINING THIS TOO YOU.
