Manager is terrible. I wanted a final receipt after I returned rug cleaner , since I bought the wrong kind.The lady said how come you returned only one.it says two on the receipt. stupid , one is for me and my mother but she didn’t want that kind.so then said take a picture of the receipt.stupid questions just as stupid as the manager looks. Get rid of her she’s lazy.

I walk in the to buy breakfast and everything in the fridge is expired. You tell Damaris the manager on the floor on the day and you.come next day and the expired food still there. It's gross and unsanitary to buy any food in that store. On 3 different occasions I bought bag of south of the border tortilla chips and it was expired. The staff are very unprofessional the worst is fat girl Ayslin how ever you spell her name.. she is rude with no work ethic and very negative energy. Damaris today in specific had a Crack head moving a UBoat. What happen to nobody works for free in family dollar. Yeah I know your policies Family Dollar as a whole should close its doors.. don't get me started with the rat infestation they be having..

One star for the manager who has an attitude problem. They can have several employees in the store but only one register is open. They take all the good perfumes for themselves and try saying that people steal them and yet there are still the same sized bottles on a shelf nearby. Also the last few times I was there the place was messy.

In general I think family dollar is great, but the one in downtown New Britain I a joke. I never, in my life, have seen a Manger tell an employee to lay hands on someone. Which by the way is a gross violation of both Family Dollar corporate policy, and state law

Customer service is awful and always has been. As I'm checking out the cashier is literally on her phone...like excuse me hi hello I'm doing fine how about you. Also, as I'm putting my items on the counter she's snatching them away. Therefore, I took my time to remove the remainder of my items inside my basket. Let's not forget to mention the homeless people that are always in yhe front of the store begging for money. I'm definitely not returning returning this location.

Store was Much Better Organized, & Cleaner. Music wasn't blaring.New products on shelves.Cashier #1, after ringing up customer, and having a long conversation in Spanish, left station, but didn't tell the other cashier there was someone waiting in line. Stocked items, but very low on toilet paper today(04.26.22)

Getho comes to mind. However to be fair & honest most of the shoppers just triffing. No home training, playing music on their phone, talking on speaker phone, like go somewhere with all that noise. The store messy, but the customer service was nice.

Good store, up until you encounter customer service which could be better. Other than that, I got what I needed.Edit: Don't bother calling, they almost never answer the phone so best of luck for whatever your looking for.

It's beyond me how a manager can have such a bad attitude!!! She has such a nasty disposition and acts like she is going out of her way to help the customer. She wouldn't have a paycheck if people don't shop there. Seriously, corporate NEEDS to do something. Each and every time I've shopped in this store I've had an issue with her. She even walked up to me one day and took my backpack out of my cart while I was shopping. I didn't know I had to leave it at the front counter. She didn't ask or say anything. Rude! RUDE!

So far This perticular location is one of my favorites as far as other Family Dollars iv been to so far that Iv seen here in CT i feel it's definitely best so far walk in with greetings 😊 and leave with friendly helpful staff stores clean organization on point which is nice to find exactly what I'm looking for 🤑🛒🛍️ A Daily Must for Us(ƪ(👁️👅👁️)ʃ)

Worse store bunch of high school children and old women who think they are teenagers. Very rude and during a pandemic no one practicing social distance no mask everyone in line up close this is a terrible store should be shut down the positive reviews on here are from their own friends,family and co workers i recognized one.

The staff here isn't really helpful or friendly! Whenever someone asks for something I notice they are rude! But the store itself is great in terms of savings on things I regularly use! Lots of cheap stuff!

RUDE people working who open the safe every couple hrs. Unprofessional, the only up side is its clean. Everything else sucks. There will be 6 people working and one register open. They need new management... yes again.. and they need to start thinking smarter when they hire. One girl knew NO english what so ever... which wouldnt be a problem (because we all have to wrk) but dont have her on the register.

Place got better after renovation, but staff is lazy and dirty. Don't keep store clean. Most of staff does not speak English, this is uncalled for.Unfortunately, 5 months later I have to lower the stars.Employeesdo not speak any English, ridiculous !!! And place has gotten even dirtier. Lazy bunch

I got humiliated in that stupid store by unprofessional management after she ask for my backpack and sons father backpack as well I after noticing we were the only customers she outed I asked for my stuff and took my business elsewhere ... And the management just mocked with another customer. I have been va regular there for a year have spent lots of money in that store and have never seen a sign about backpacks of being a store policy will never go there. Very rude will never go there awful experience.

it has whatever you need at the moment, literally. A california rasberry coke in crystal bottle? yes. Lube? pregnancy test? condoms? yes to all and you dont need to pass the awkwardness of having to call an employee to open any of those items because they are not locked. NEED FAST SNACKS FOR SCHOOL, AND BACON? they got it.

I speak English Did not understand when asked of things for st Patricks day. Anothercutomer had to translate for th e women on the register. Felt like I was.not in the US. But a foreign country I was only passing thru the area and needed decoration. Lso wanted cash back from my debit card and a charge appeared in th be sales transaction You have a big sign about providing money needed by using a debit card to obtain. I didn't see that you charge to use it

I might not speak Spanish or Polish or French or India , Indian but at least it’s a store to shop at if they don’t really need a bathrooms because people leave it dirty it’s not their responsibility if they don’t want one and they are trying their best I don’t judge people or the store at least it’s open for everyone or anyone that wants to go shopping at least is called a family dollar that you can at least spend as much as you want I’m sorry but some people are negative please put the negative a side it’s not a Restaurant that’s all!!😏😔😌👍

Rude rude rude. Only Spanish work there and Carmen is rude, as well as the rest of the employees. They do not accept any other ethnicities to work their and they do not do interviews, which is required. This family dollar has to be investigated.
