I’ve been coming here pretty often for the past year, never had any complaints, pretty good selection of stuff and good deals, like any dollar general.Now for the 3 deducted stars:I walked in last night with a couple of my friends to get some snacks and drinks. I cracked open a soda can while looking at some snacks, and immediately two employees poke their heads into our aisle, one demanding that I pay for the drink immediately. I told them that I was going to buy other snacks and asked if I could just pay for everything once I had finished looking. Nope. I have to go up right now and drop everything. Mind you these employees have interacted with me countless times on my previous visits.If you care to read this far, on these previous visits with my friends, an employee has happened to be “working” in the same aisle as us while we walk around, as one does when in a store. And I mean EVERY aisle. One worker was “rearranging” paper towels on the shelf right next to us for the whole 10 minutes we were in the aisle. You’re not slick. And we don’t appreciate being followed everywhere we go just because we’re younger.Well done lady in the glasses, you just lost the business of 8 would-be loyal customers.

The store is usually very neat and tidy. All the staff is very helpful and friendly, at least the night staff because that is the only time I usually go. Personally I'm trying to stop shopping at Dollar general and some stores of that nature. But at least I know I can go in there and be treated courteously by the staff.

If you need it in a pinch they have it most likely. It’s amazing how many things are packed into these dollar generals. Prices are good too. Bring a list and see if you can cross off every item.

There is a sign at the register that states "no cash back" Given that many businesses are going cashless, I inquired "sign says no cash back, do I need to use my card? I only have cash" Snarkbaits answer "think about" I did think about it, Snarkbait, you shouldn't work with the public. It was a reasonable question. A reasonable resonse "no ma'am, it means we're not an ATM." You should try that answer instead Snarkbait.

I am a regular customer here, and nobody was being rude to customers the other day, i was in here shopping this lady was walking in front of a pepsi electric pallet jack as they were moving soda around and the worker just asked the lady to go around another way for their own safety and she started flipping out on the employee saying that the other worker was rude, the only rude person here was that customer to the employees. They are assuring your safety, not being rude.

Awful I had to use the bathroom there and it was out of service cause the employee didn't want to clean the bathroom. Mind you I'm pregnant and they refuse to let me use the employee bathroom. The same thing happened to a friend of mine a week before. Now I'm out here and there is a "we will beopening late" sign with no time on it. not much of a convince store if you ask me. This is the only store within walking distance in morris and they have been slipping up alot lately. Not the first time they have decided to close their store out of the blue too

Very disrespectful and unprofessional. My partner was in there to obviously purchase stuff. She wasn’t wearing a mask , and a customer said to the cashier , everyone must be vaccinated these days. The cashier goes yeah or just lies about it. Basically making a harassing comment towards my wife. We are both vaccinated as we care about the health of our children. We won’t be going here. There’s literally always an issue. Or one time she needed cash back to do laundry. And the cashier yelled at her in front of our kids saying we aren’t taken cash back. I’ll be going to corporate about this

Great place to shop, great place to work, also we have plenty of dollar items including but not limited to an entire dedicated dollar valley / isle, by far one of the most cleanest dollar generals I’ve ever been to and we try to keep it that way!

Store is nice but employees were trash talking former customers in front of us..very poor taste...then the bathroom was absolutely filthy...fecal matter all over the toilet and my fiancé was extremely disgusted l..you’d think they’d clean it or have the time to as they were doing nothing otherwise. No place for a lady!

I went in right before closing because I didnt pack appropriately for my trip home, and the ladies working there were so sweet. Most people have an attitude when you have the audacity to walk in 5 mins before close but they were great!

I work overnights down the road and I showed up at 9:53 and the doors were locked. I called three times to no answer. They finally answered at 9:58 and I asked why they closed early. She said it’s 10. I said I been here since 9:53 and the automatic doors were already off. She said “it’s 10 o’clock. Sorry.” So even after closing early a customer gets ahold of you and you still blow them off. It’s 5 minutes to you but it’s a whole shift without food or drink for me. So thanks for that.

Very nice people. Smiling and laughing. Its refreshing not to have someone who works in customer service be absolutely miserable to you. Kind of rubs off on you. Always a pleasant experience when im here though.

Had never been into one before and needed to find a couple items that I didnt want to go to multiple store for. The store was nest and clean and had what I was looking for. Some of the prices were good on items, some were about the same as what you would pay elsewhere. All in all I'd go back

I have been to a few Dollar General's this one was very well stocked. Very clean and the staff were very friendly. I am going to continue to go the extra few miles to shop at that store.

The most misleading name for a dollar store. Nothing is a dollar here. This is basically a mini overpriced Walmart, if you have the time, save your money and drive elsewhere. The staff in this DG is slow, and slightly rude. It's always a mess in there and the place is brand new. I assume its understaffed which results in cashier also playing stock person between customers. This setup never resulted in a positive customer interaction in my experience. This particular store leaves alot to be desired, and DG brand as a whole sells subpar products in pretty packaging misleading the quality until you use it a week. I bought a garden hose that looked awesome, heavy duty, on clearance ($20) so felt like a great deal. It bubbled in 3 locations in a week and burst 2 weeks after that. Not my first type of experience with this brand, but definitely my last. Ocean State is 2 miles away, half the price, and way more understanding with customers and products.

A friend of mine was recently there and an employee had the audacity to yell at her infront of her kids. Over getting cash back. The employee lied to her in her face.

So funny how the whole town said they didn’t want it but the parking lot is always filled. It’s super convenient, and cheap love it.
