A gem of a place! The owner is very knowledgeable and helpful. I personally love the selection of teas and spices. There’s also an interesting assortment of antiques for sale. The best business I've ever visited. Mostly used the flea market location when it was open. Over the years, the proprieter has, on multiple occasions, refused to sell me products that he thought would be ineffective or counterproductive, often suggesting another of lesser cost. This kind of knowledge and honesty is appreciated, and I hope these qualities are carried on to the next generation.

Homestead Farms has been owned and run by the same knowledgable owner for over 30 years. Bob, the owner knows more than anyone I met in this business. Tell him what's wrong and he will lead you to the proper herb at a reasonable price. He studied in Europe in a very different time! He wants to help people! If your looking for most anything holistic, you can find it here. Also teas , herbs to cook with , down to sage to burn. Even the atmosphere of the little cabin and garden is beautiful. I suggest a visit.

They've got a customer for life! Homestead Herb Farm had been suggested to me by my OT who's very much into holistic remedies. I was looking for a specific tea and had no luck...until I called Homestead!! The owner took the time on the phone to explain to me the tea I was looking for was actually known by another name entirely. Not only did he have it in stock, but he told me he buys ONLY organic and packages it himself! I went straight down. He then again took the time to not only show me where the tea was located, but upon hearing why I was buying it gave me another, more successful option. The prices are excellent and there is a wide range of different products to buy from; both locally made and company produced. I'm definitely going back...especially in the spring/summer to walk about the outdoor garden paths!

I've been going to Homestead Herb Farm for about 30 years. Bob, the owner, is very knowledgeable and answers any questions I have. His prices are very reasonable and he sells delicious, local, unprocessed honey, along with teas, bath herbs, cooking herbs, as well as the herbal remedies.
