At 6:30 tonight we went there for dinner. And very glad we did. My baby back ribs with the sweet sauce was delicious. My husband loved his meal, as well—St. Louis ribs and beef brisket. Our meals came with cornbread and two sides. We both loved the coleslaw.Definitely plan to go again.

Would not recommend at all we came in with big group of people did not even eat my food we was the first ones to put are food in the last one to are food evey order was wrong so when the kitchen was not back up half of the room got are checks, we waited 1 n half hours for 3 small pieces of potato, they gave me my wrong food. They gave me wrong food then I take an hour and a half appetizer. Poor staff never been here never would come back poor kitchen would not recommend this place at all would never recommend anybody coming here , someone at my table said the water was good that was about it Even though she was supposed to get cold this is Coke and they said they were gonna bring back. Coke and the Coke is 100% water down. These r bone in wings , I do not like macaroni and cheese and give me macaroni and cheese vs mashed potatoes would not come back here if they comp me hole dinner for free

We really enjoy Tavern on the Hill both for take out and dining in. The food is always tasty and hot. Potato Skins are excellent and the smoked chicken is delicious. The onion rings are great and my wife loves the veggie plate. They poor heavy drinks and the staff is always nice, even when busy. They often have music and we are grateful to have a local eatery that is dependable and consistently good!

Food was pretty good but giving three stars because I placed a relatively simple order for pick up that was still incorrect-jalapeño not regular corn bread for one meal and missing cheesecake. I called to inquire and was told the woman working didn’t hear me but “not to worry because I didn’t get charged”…I’m no mathematician but can’t figure out how two $15.95 dinners comes to $43 if I wasn’t.

My first time that I ever reviewed any place in my life, but it suck to walk into a tavern to have a beer and just because a local female approach me and started talking to me the bartender Nadia told me I had to leave. I was speechless about it but left the place. What a poor attitude she had against me for no reason. I ask why she was telling me to leave and she just walk away. It is sad to experience this attitude against town residents ( 5years in the area.) Good luck bringing new customers.

Another great find while we were out cruising on the bike Saturday afternoon. My husband and I both had the pulled pork with chips and onion rings and the food was great especially for the price. The sauces were delicious and so was the Coleslaw that had a nice little tang. Unfortunately we don't live that close or we would pop in for taco Tuesday and trivia on Wednesday. The outdoor tented area is also really nice to sit out in the open air.

Came in on a Saturday at 7pm. Waitress was great . No customers in the restaurant. It was awkwardly quiet with no music or tv sound the whole time, till you could hear people in the kitchen yelling.Appetizer(nachos) were decent. Entrees were a miss. Brisket was dry, deviled eggs had good flavor but can tell they pre make them long before because the egg was tough. Tavern bowl, the Mac n cheese in it was completely flavorless with mushy noodles and the beans on it weren’t drained so there was like a pool of bean sauce Over the Mac n cheese that I was to pour out and soak up with a napkin or else it would of just been a soup.

We just moved here and really enjoy this place. The food is delicious and the drinks are generous. Often there is live music. The crowd is local and friendly. We also take out frequently. The servers are great and always get things right. The kitchen is fast and I have lots of special requests all the time with no problem. Very happy to have Tavern on the Hill around the corner!

First time here, stopped by with my daughter for lunch. I ordered the half rack of St. Louis style ribs which were so good and the meat just fell off the bone. Sides were mac n cheese (good but could use a bit more sharp cheese) and hot deviled egg (very good). Daughter had the Smoked Chicken which she said was excellent along with the backed beans and garlic mashed potatoes. Our server who said she was new there , made a few good drinks for us and did a great job both handling the bar and the seating section on the right by herself and in a timely , friendly fashion. Was very happy with everything. Will try a few different things next time.

Great as a Dive bar, that is what you should expect. We had some beers and some bar food. I had wings which were alright. Not the best wings I ever had, but not the worst either.they specialize on BBQ and offer smoked wings. It's a spot that's just fine. If you are looking for a few drinks and want to chat up some locals it's a good spot.

Didn’t get past ordering drinks. Took at least five minutes before anyone came with menus and taking drink orders. Took another ten minutes for drinks to come out and then there was stuff floating in some of them. At this point we were done. For the prices they’re charging, they need to have more than one person working. It’s not fair to the staff to have her trying to cover drinks and food for that many tables. This is 100% mismanagement. Need to close the dining room if you’re going to staff it this short.

We came to dine there yesterday. The girl at the bar shouted from the bar that we could sit wherever we wanted. We sat down... 10 minutes past and we were not approached for anything- water or otherwise. We can here the girl having bar conversations with other patrons. Either this place was severely understaffed or the person(s) working there just didn't care. I know restaurants are struggling and customer service is essential. That said, this was a very poor experience and we just got up and left and took our business else where.

We called in to place a large order for the office and asked if they could put a name on each order so that we would know who's was who's. They labeled each order individually for us (even though I'm sure this was a pain for them) and the tacos and nachos we ordered were very tasty!!! The smoked meats were great and the sauce was key!. Ask for sauce on the side, you will love it!! We will be getting more office lunches there especially for Taco Tuesday!!

Sitting here. The jalapeno pineapple margarita is spicy and delicious!! Had the brisket meal with mac and cheese and baked beans and the brisket is tender, flavorful and juicy. Rhe sauces were all really good too!! Absolutely delicious! Mac and cheese was nice and gooey, cheesy, baked beans amazing. All I can say is its better than the place in Windsor and I never thought I'd say that but you should really try this place. We will definitely be back! And no wait..now. when people find put how good this place is..youll need a reservation so try it now. So good!!
