Ordered a simple grilled chicken wrap. The wrap was an over fried piece of chicken. I couldnt believe they would even sell something so bad. Two bites and in the garbage it went. Very disapointed, l heard this place was good. To bad.

I am always amazed by the quality and variety of products offered here. From their thick cut bacon to the gourmet cheeses, I always find what I need and more. Their holiday selection is great. The staff is friendly and there is rarely a wait to check out. A true asset of Moodus.

Skimpy on products and just not what it used to be when it was "Grist Mill Market "....update - went today to get sour cream.Half of what was on the shelf had expired at least a month ago. Kinda made me afraid to buy any of them. Luckily I found one with a good date and it ended up being fine. But I definitely was not impressed finding old products on the shelves for sale.

Got a grinder here because of the great reviews. Meatballs were extremely dried out and tasted burnt. Almost no sauce at all. Bread was good. Disappointed.

Nice little market with the small town personal feel- the employees are super friendly and helpful. The produce and meat are top notch. Knocked off 1 star because the prices are too expensive to do regular shopping, but it's a great spot for those last minute items or fresh food.

Great brand new market that's improving as time goes on. Grinders are the best in the area and with recent new management added to their meat and deli departments I'm excited to see what's next. Kudos to them for continuing to raise the bar!

It is with great pleasure that I give the owner of this market this rating. Momar has been more than a nice friendly person. He has gone out of his way to make sure he has the products that we are looking for in stock. If he doesn’t have it, he makes sure to get it. He is doing a phenomenal job in keeping his customers happy . We sure are very impressed!! Recently we were preparing for storm Henri and Momar made sure he had plenty of water in stock because he understood there was a need. Absolutely thoughtful and very caring ☺️ We also appreciate how helpful his staff members have been anytime we’ve shopped there. Thank you 🙏 & keep up the good work!

The meat counter, and butcher, are top drawer! Little gem in Moodus. We get all of our special order meats here and what they don't have, they will usually order. Support local!
