My absolute go-to spot. Was introduced to this place by a co-worker of mine who recommended it when looking for a recreational dispensary after everything went legal. Staff here is always friendly and fantastic. You always feel welcomed when you arrive here. Even when it is incredibly busy they are very efficient at getting customers served quickly. Staff always seems willing to help anyone that has any questions about purchases and is always patient when explaining things. Absolutely one of the best spots in the area for recreational.

This is a well run establishment and these are very good people. I've gone in there a lot and I've always felt welcomed and comfortable. Now I'm a delivery customer but the drivers are the nicest people too. Tom, I hope you're out there. You're awesome. Rest of staff who are working behind the scenes, you've always done me a solid and I appreciate the work you do.

Nice, organized shop. Associates are super friendly and often remember repeat customers. They also tend to be a few dollars cheaper than some others in the area. Selection is pretty good, but also sometimes is low for certain items (but i notice it's usually similar for all the shops in the area). Def one of my go to stops!

They have gone from the best to where flower is not available. I hate to say it but will probably have to change my medical dispensary after 5 years. (SinceI posted this things have been improving, but where you used to be-able to get an ounce as one item for under $250, or an ounce of premium grind for $35 a quarter, prices have at least doubled since early November. Apparently not enough product to meet demand)Otherwise good people, great service, delivery is a nice plus, but without having anything in stock and prices going up exponentially I just don’t see them being open in 3 months. In prior times I would have rated 10 stars.

don't believe they deliver. they said they deliver to my town and towns much further away but when I tried to use the service they said I was out of delivery range . I live in Preston! and they say they deliver to Lisbon! obviously a lie! I've put up with high prices and low quality but I can't abide blatant false advertising

I've been going to The Botanist almost since they opened. The staff are always helpful, kind and go out of their way to make the customer comfortable with their decisions. The products are the best Connecticut has to offer and even if they run out of something they quickly refill. I've always left The Botanist as a happy customer.

The music is way too loud for folks with sound sensitivity. Especially for medical patients being forced to wait in a hot claustrophobic tiny room. Get some ventilation in there. And not the first time this has happened to me here at this location.

Stopped going here. The selection has been lacking but even worse are the prices. CT prices are insanely high then add taxes even worse. Not to mention there are hardly ever sales. If you can get to any in RI or MA do it. Always 15 to 20 percent off sales, always plenty of choices and way cheaper. Worth the drive to pay less than half of what you'd pay in CT and you get double the product.CT: 1/4 + .5 cart= $170!MA/RI: 1/4 + .5 cart + 15/20% off= $50Which means you can buy more product out of state and make LESS trips to a dispensary.We need to start going out of state if possible so these places in CT can drop their insane prices.

$45 for theraplant? I remember when it was $31. No tax for medical though! (Cause it's already worked into the price). Wow has the whole entire state just completely discarded the medical patients. Greed ruins everything. Why on earth should cannabis be taxed so high. It's criminal. How about we tax alcohol at 25%+... every other weekend it seems like someone's driving the opposite way down the highway and killing someone.. Black market reigns Supreme. Way more options, better quality, people who actually care about the products they sell and keeping customers happy. We live in a backwards world. Shame on everyone who's in charge, on every level.

The staff are still very pleasant, but the medical menu has almost disappeared since this place went recreational too. It's so frustrating and disappointing...And it's only getting worse, today there were only 14 vapes for medical and the only one I could use was at recreational price!!!Please increase the medical side of this business... It's what it was intended for.Thank You ,Kindly...

Since going to recreational and putting medical patients second, new staff has no idea what they are doing. I am a day 1 patient. Last time I checked in, I was questioned about having my caregivers card with me. I don’t carry my caregivers card. Why do I need that? Thankfully, a day 1 employee who was familiar with me let her know it was not needed. Once at the counter, employees are bickering and just not as pleasant as when this place first opened. The used to ask me about available points, available deals. Now I am lucky to get my order correct. Really has gone down hill for medical patients.3 words. Mass, mass, mass

The store is run well. Clean, friendly, efficient. I like the Botanist. Connecticut and it's growers, however, have a whole lot of work to do if they want to compete with neighboring states. Very sub par quality flower for 2010 prices. I'll go as far as to say the growers are even lying about their strains. Humboltd Sour D was not even sativa. It was fat, dense indica nugs that didn't at all resemble any form of any sour diesel strain. Not in aesthetics, flavor or smell. Haze- maybe a very distant relative but not even in the same ballpark as the original strain. Have to give credit where it's due though. Peach Crescendo and Indicol BC are great strains.Long story short, I'd love to support as much as possible because the establishment itself is good, but with head and shoulders better quality flower on the street for 1/5 of the cost of the dispensary it's tough.

IF YOU LIKE LEAF, STICKS AND LITTLE TINY PIECES OF BUD, TRY THERAPLANTS EGBRID T27 11514. THERAPLANT WILL NOT MAKE IT RIGHT. UNFORTUNATELY THE DISPENSARY DOESN'T STAND BEHIND THE Rx'S THEY FILL, AS THE PACKAGE COMES SEALED.

This place is super rinky dink. They don't have the items up for order on their website as what they send in their promotional e-mails. Half of the tike they don't have any weed available...I don't know how the state can allow a pharmacy run out of medicine....they over charge for product for absolutely no reason, 8ths used to be $38 now they are $50.Also inrecently bought their "moon rocks" and asked at the counter if these are dipped in concentrate and dusted with kief and was told they were...I got home opened it up and it's just weed dusted with kief...total deception.Used to be a good dispensary...now it's awful.

I usually have a pleasant experience here. But today I checked out with Brittany (wears a headband) she was very rude and unhelpful and rushed me out when she didn’t want to answer my question about points (maybe she didn’t know) I had to go to the front desk and ask a very nice gentleman to help me & he was awesome. Brittany should be more upbeat and have a smile on her face ready to help any customer who needs help. I felt uncomfortable but was turned around very quickly when I asked a different worker that was ready to help. Overall a great place though.

Welcoming and helpful employees. Even with a long line, I'm never there for more than 20 minutes, because the staff is quick and efficient. The products are the best Connecticut has to offer, since that's all they're allowed to sell. I have yet, to be disappointed.
