I wish I could explain how wonderful this food is but I just can't. I've been in my truck, 1000 miles from home just wanting a GOOD meal. A truck driver friend recommended this place and I did not get a good meal, I got a GREAT meal. Perfectly crispy fried Pickles, perfectly crispy and sauced chicken wings, perfectly chopped side salad, perfectly seasoned Poutine Tots, perfectly mixed homemade ranch. Perfectly friendly service and perfectly clean environment. This place absolutely not disappoint. I promise I will go out of my way to come back.

I do enjoy enjoy your bar. Very well laid out. Great atmosphere, and location. The food is good, and you have a great drink selection. You have all that, but if the service isn't thereyou lose everything thats good about your establishment. Please please have your bartenders pay attention to customers at the bar, and keep the socializing to a minimum when you have people waiting more than 10 minutes and still wasn't approached. I did end up walking out after a customer who came in well after me was approached without even a glance in my direction. I'll definitely be back, but I was a bit disappointed this evening.

Food and service were very good. 3 star review is for the price of the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. $16.25 plus another $2.50 to add fries. So $18.75 for an average size sandwich (no leftovers) with a small order of fries. Comes with coleslaw in a tiny jello-shot size cup. Chicken tacos were a good size serving for a more reasonable $13.75.

As first time customers, we walked in and Steph and Carly were exceptional behind the bar. The bar back (I forgot his name) was funny, informative, and just overall a welcome addition to our night. We ordered wings which were fabulous! Drinks were on point, and Steph and /or Carly were always close by to refill, answer a question, or to simply converse with us. My friend is local to the area and I travel here every 6-8 weeks and we will definitely be back and be bringing more friends!!

Love this place and love Maureen!! I come every Monday for trivia with my friends, Maureen has been our waitress twice and I wish I could give her more than 5 stars for service! She’s so friendly and always offers the best advice on what to order. Maureen puts a ton of effort into her hospitality and shows she truly cares about your experience at the salty dog. Food is always great and I can’t recommend playing Monday trivia enough!

Great place with some awesome drinks and awesome food and good service. I've been a few times so far and have tried a few different things on the menu, I definitely do recommend thee salty dog. I mean it's what they're named after after all lol. And it was delicious. Super messy but im convinced the best food always is. Also I've tried their Philly egg rolls and chicken tacos, all banging food. Drinks have also been a big hit, they have their own take on an espresso martini and it's phenomenal. Also they had some pretty cool drinks going this past weekend for Halloween that were just as delicious as the others I've tried here on the menu. Definitely a place I recommend. Also amazing service. Waitresses/bartenders are super sweet and nice and they all seem to have a good sense of humor and have a lot of laughs

A great spot for locals and an easy walk for over the road drivers.. I sampled a few menu items and was not disappointed.. Andrew was on it and attentive for bar service..Stephanie seemed glad to be seen.. as a bartender she would do better listening to her customers instead of reminiscing with friends.. drinks were good..

The food is delicious America food with a gourmet and creative tasty twist!!!! My husband got the turkey smash burger!!!! And I get the salty hot dog!!!! Both were filling and satisfied our taste buds!!! But the star of the show was the wings!!!! The delicious dry rub berry Chipotle wings w/ homemade ranch dressing!!! 😋 I will definitely come again!!!!

Saturday Night Dinner at the Salty Dog, plenty of seating, TVs galore. Enjoyed beers on tap (Ice Cream Man). Sarah the bartender was great. Our waiter Andrew also great. Definitely try the Nashville Hot Waffle.

I came her with my fiancée for the first time today. I had the wing sampler (hibiscus habanero, apple jerk, pineapple habanero) and the Mac n cheese pulled pork tacos and my fiancée had the shrimp tacos with the fried cauliflower mixed in sweet heat. Everything was delicious. Our favorites were the Mac n cheese pulled pork tacos and the pineapple habanero wings. My fiancée is very particular when it comes to meat so the fact that she attempted to eat all of my tacos shows how good it was. Our server Hannah was great and gave great recommendations. Chef Josh came out to say hi and was very proud of the food that he made. I highly recommend this place.

I hate doing negative reviews, but the grilled chicken in my salad was hard, rubbery and couldn’t even chew parts of it, pretty sure it was microwaved/overcooked. They used big chunks of Romain lettuce that was not cut small enough and I would’ve preferred spring mix. Some of the blueberries were mushy. Just not fresh and not quality. Not coming back. No manager ever got back to me either.

My wife and I and another couple had drinks and dinner here on Saturday night while watching the Giants playoff game. Although the game was a disaster, our experience at the Salty Dog was outstanding. The food and the service could not have been better. Ironically, we ended up there after leaving another pub where we had been treated very rudely. It was the perfect ending and we will definitely return to the Salty Dog in the future.

Had a great experience today at The Salty Dog Tavern. My Smashburger was fresh and prepared well. My bartender Alicia was awesome, very friendly. This definitely is my new home for Sunday football seeing how they have the ticket.Vegetarian options: They have a few vegetarian and gluten-free options at the moment but their full menu is coming out in two weeks. It’s loaded with options like keto salad, vegetarian sandwiches and many gluten-free substitutions. They even have gluten-free beer

So excited for a bar to reopen in this spot. The renovations made the space bigger with more room at the bar. Theres outdoor seating too which is akways great when the bar is crowded. Drinks, food, customer service and atmosphere are all top notch. Bartender remembered my name and drink so I didn't have to keep telling her which tab to put it on. She was very friendly and funny. Made us feel right at home. We ordered nachos which were HUGE to say the least. I have some food intolerances so the chef came out to reassure me what was used on the nachos. This may be our new hangout! You have to come check it out!

I just put 1 star so you would see this review. Everything here is pretty good except the wings (especially buffalo based wings) the buffalo was made like marinara sauce basically on three different orders. No taste on apple jerk or buffalo.The wings tend to have zero taste. Other than that, the hotdogs, nachos, quesadilla, onion rings were all great.

The food and drinks were phenomenal. I highly recommend that you grab a group of friends and head down for a fun night :)!The bartender Stephaine is so friendly and even with a busy bar gets to you in a timely fashion. I highly recommend The Salty Dog!Parking: Plenty of on site free parking :)!
