A really nice Petco location with genuinely friendly staff (I’ve yet to run into anyone who wasn’t awesome), they almost always have everything in stock, and lots of things going on here (they hold adoption events, grooming, etc).

I spoke with a representative for two days but I wound up buying the gerbil from another representative. That is ok! Totally wonderful! I wanted a teddy bear hamster at first but I was so glad she talked me out of it. It was a gift for my grandson, my daughter had alreadypurchased the cage which I showed the representative and the little guy fits perfectly . The teddy bear would have been too big like she said. Love the help. Not keen on prices. I would NEVER pay the price for a ferret they want. You need two so by the time you are done that's like 1500.00 dollars. Totally ridiculous for a weasel. Hope the scent sak is removed for that price. And the price of a fish that lives in a puddle, the betta. You can't get them unless you buy a 200.00 kit. You can get them for a cheaper price elsewhere. But, the associates were terrific! They don't make the prices

Vin is extremely rude. Gets himself crickets and proceeds to tell me they don’t have crickets for sale. Place is depressing honestly. I drive the extra 25 minutes to the Brookfield location. This pic is of a leopard gecko . The care for the animals is trash as well.

Dont come here for grooming. Incredibly long wait times despite having an appointment; my dog was kept in a cage for 2 hours before being groomed. Bath wasnt thorough, and the cut was horrible. Hair that is essential to be in place for his breed was clipped off, he looked like a mangled mess.

I like the store for many reasons: its close to home, the people who work there are generally pleasant and helpful, and I can usually find what I need. The issues I have with this location are they remind me of a boutique: smaller and more expensive and they are often out of live feeders.. Overall I recommend them for pet supplies.

They really screwed up my maltipoo. His hair was different lengths and they shaved his tail off saying it was matted. It was pretty disappointing as my regular groomer who was on vacation has never trimmed his tail off in the 6 years. I will never go back there. The older groomer was also kind of rude on the phone when I told her I had a Maltipoo to schedule an appt.

I had a 4:50 appointment for the clinic yesterday, and had to drive from Greenwich to get there because they were the closest clinic that I could schedule timely for my puppy's appointment. I left my office at 3:00 to arrive at 4:30, hit two accidents and got to the clinic at 5:03, which was stressful to say the least, as I'm always early for my appointment. The clinic staff could have sent me away as they closed at 5:00, but seeing my distress they were kind and stayed late to take care of Eli. I'm grateful and appreciate their caring and flexibility. They are a 5 star team!

Loved this store but my visit today was less than satisfactory, the new manager was speaking to the employees very aggressively for not cleaning while they were currently helping customers, all other employees are usually very friendly but it seemed store moral was at a low

Inventory is atrocious. I can never get all the items I am looking for. This time the shelves were bare of the food I feed my dog. I couldn’t even pick up a small bag to tide me I’ve the weekend. This wasn’t the first time. And Petco’s automatic delivery can take forever to arrive. I guess I’ll try Chewy, Petco just doesn’t have their act together.

It seems the fish department is very neglected along with the customer trying to purchase although reluctant, it's close to home. This time the employee even told me she would be right back, so I waited and waited ,and then left the store once again disappointed about customer service. Maybe they should take notes from the Brookfield location on how to keep tanks clean and help customers

When I got home and smelled my dog after having taken her here for grooming she smelled like she wasn’t given a thorough bath at all. I tried to call the groomer but to no avail so I finally popped in the store and she wasn’t working that day, I was asked to leave a detailed message, which I did. When I woke up my grooming appointment for next time was cancelled but no audacity to call and speak on the problem at hand, I’m disgusted by this! Don’t take your dog here for grooming. Our dogs are a great part of our lives, our dogs are our babies and if you don’t have the stomach to deal with clients complaints as a business you should reevaluate your line of work cause this is definitely not it.

Tried to order online allergy aid for my dog. First order they were out of stock. Went back online and ordered another brand. Went to the store to pick it up and was told they were out of that one also! Never got an email on that one and I was told there are other brands. There was not!! I bought the last jar of allergy aid! I had to get an employee to help me find it and she also had a hard time.

All typical. Just don't buy pets from petco. Don't support their conditions. Also the reptile food/feeders are very sub quality. Even half the packs of worms are dead

Went to this location for the first time Sunday. I wanted to buy some salt water fish. I waited for one hour in the fish department as employees walked around me. One man working walked in between the fish tank and myself pushing me into the shelf like I was not there. A young lady walked around in circles but said she was busy and the other man would get my fish. I left after one hour. I bought $300 worth of fish at another store.

I’ve gone here once or twice. Trying to find the cat food my cats like… what a depressing store. It’s just dark and gloomy I don’t like the mood. The girl that was behind the register was nice and very cheerful. That’s about it. Go to Feed Barn or even Agway.

No one was around to help, but it was pretty easy to find what I wanted. There was a good variety and cheaper than I found on amazon. Also Anthony the groomer is excellent and we would highly recommend their services!
