I love coming to the store they have everything I need here my dog loves walking around the store as well everybody that works here is very friendly and they always say hello to you when you walk through the doors. I always find what I need here and my dog does too. They have a good selection on all your pet items and pet needs they also have a great selection of shrubs plants and flowers out back. I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you have not already. I definitely give this place a five-star rating.

Competitive inventory and prices. I come here regularly and any time I can’t find something or have an issue with prices, coupons, etc Tim always goes above and beyond to make things right. His patience and attention to detail always has me leaving with a smile on my face. Give this man a raise! Thank you to Tim and the rest of the team.

The middle field Agway is my go to store for pet food and supplies, as well as my yearly planting needs. The store is run like an old fashioned general store, the employees are always friendly and helpful. The store manager Maria is amazing, always greets me by name and works very hard to keep her store clean, organized and well stocked. I love this store!!!

I have always purchased mulch from Agway a.k.a Smithland but this year the mulch is full of large nuggets and pieces of wood along with the mulch. I was told it's a new distributor, they need to reconsider their choice!

Excellent time today for our Halloween photo with our beloved dog brownie!!! The photographer and staff were attentive and patient! They took the time to get the best pictures! The background was an actual fall harvest set up with bales of hay...mums....pumpkins etc. We can't wait to come back at Christmas for the next photo shoot! Our "batman" brownie gives 5 paws!!

Be careful of sale items. On 12/20 I was purchasing cat food and ringing out I realized the total was way too high. They were charging me 2.99 a pack for "fridkies party mix" when it was 6 for $8.40 at 1.40 a pack. When I told the clerk he acted like i was bothering him, never apologizing or explaining why this happened. When arriving home and checking the rest of my order I found I was charged full price on several cans of blue buffalo that were also on sale.

Really well stocked in all things pet, small farm, and garden. So many healthy beautiful plants...bird seed and houses...wind chimes...garden shoes and more. Its neat and friendly. I won't be visiting other newer chains again

Amazing experience here. We broke down on the side of the road and we ran across rt 66 with 6 the kids. I believe the woman’s name was Madeline. She said we could stay there as long as we needed and gave us ice pops! Such amazing customer service!

Just moved to the area and it was my first time to this Agway. The staff was so knowledgeable and helpful. Seemed to be high school to early collage age girls that I encountered but again so pleasant and knew all about all the different plants. Very surprised at the quality of service and the plants. If I had a question on price they got right on their walkie talkies and found out. If I had a question about the plant they knew the answer. I had just been down the street at another plant store and I had asked the price of a plant and the woman just said "Oh, I don't know...sorry" and walked away um Ok? Also the plants at the other store were all wilted and half dead so when I arrive at the Agway I was very please to see plants that were well maintained and healthy. 5 star experience for me 6/10/16 !!!

They are always very helpful and friendly. There is a lot packed in that little store. Typically prices for soil and other bagged items are cheaper than the big box stores

Diego and Middletown is a nice little operation they have everything that you need for outdoor needs for your trees and shrubs as well as gas grills we buy all of our pet food supplies there sign up to get emails which will lead to discounts for you great place been going there for years.

I was driving on route 66 today,July 11 2019,And had the last minute thought to stop for more chicken feed,This is my first year raising these magestic animals and thanks to both the southington and now the middlefield location, I've had a lot of luck!SUPERIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND KNOWLAGE,I LEARNED EVERYTHING ABOUT RAISING CHICKENS FROM STAFF MEMBERS.HOWEVER TODAY WAS VERY DIFFICULT AND THE STAFF IN MIDDLEFIELD REALLY MADE A POSITIVE IMPACT ON MY LIFE!I WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE STAFF AT AGWAY IN MIDDLEFIELD I FOR THEIR KINDNESS, AND WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT AS THEY OBSERVED ME VERY SHACKEN UP AS THE ADRENALINE SURGED.I ENDED UP A 1ST RESPONDER TODAY TO A BAD CAR CRASH ACCIDENT.I'VE NEVER DONE SOMETHING LIKE THAT BEFORE....THERE WAS A PREGNANT LADY THAT WAS PART OF THE ACCIDENT, I STOPPED TRAFFIC MULTIPLE TIMES, BETWEEN GETTING WATER AND HELPING DIRECT PERSONAL TO THE SCENEI WAS THE ONE THAT CALLED 911.BUT THE STAFF THERE WAS TREMENDOUS! I APPRECIATE EVERYTHING YOU GUYS SAID TO ME, BUT I DON'T DESERVE THE CREDIT IT WAS JUST A REACTION.WHO KNOWS MAYBE EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON, MAYBE SOME THINGS DO ANYWAY.BUT I CAN DEFINITELY FEEL THE PRESENCE OF MY SISTER, R.I.P.CSP TROOPER 1221 DANI MILLER
