Friendly staff. Fresh food (except their berries which grow mold within 2 days even if you rinse them in vinegar before you use them, the mold is there, so Stop and Shop and Aldis are better for berries). Meats are excellent, I love their grinders, especially their chicken salad or roast beef. Always clean and neat.Only criticism is the fellows behind the counter in the deli area tried to close down the sandwich and grinder and prepared food kiosks too soon. Sometimes before 8 pm when the store is open til 10 pm. In Winter, when people are more likely to grab a prepared dinner, it was odd. Strange. The women working those areas and the new fellas work til closing or 15 minutes before. Very pleasant!

I remember when they were building this Big Y. I was excited for it to be finished and I was not disappointed. As with all Big Y’s, it’s world class. The store is always very clean, staff are friendly, and all the food selection and quality is top notch. Big Y is always my first choice. This specific one also has an excellent organic section where you can find numerous allergy friendly foods.

They had fried chicken on sale, I didn't see any, so I went over and ask if they could cook an order for me. They told it would twenty minutes, I said no problem and waited the twenty minutes. Now the issue, I ask how the chicken was coming along and the same person grab a pad and pen and ask what did you want, really? He then went over and asked another worker and he came over and told me they were out of chicken because it never came in. Why didn't they tell me that in the beginning, a total waste of my time!

For around the last 6 months multiple dairy products have been completely rancid the biggest one being sour cream and when I brought it up to the store they repeatedly denied it. Fix your system or something because this is completely ridiculous.

Has such a clean new look with vibrant colors and creative signage. A little smaller then I expected it to be and has some interesting design setups that I wasn't expecting. Overall you gotta love the fresh food, and a helpful staff.

In the last 6 months every container of sour cream that I have purchased from this store no matter what brand it has been bad and nothing seems to be being done about this issue if you have purchased sour cream from them and it was bad let them know because they keep saying no one else is reporting it and it's quite disappointing to have a meal ruined because the sour cream is bad

I absolutely love shopping at this BigY. It is always super clean. The layout is easy to navigate and doesn't feel overcrowded. The food is always good quality and fresh. The people are AMAZINGLY friendly and always seem happy to be at their jobs. I especially love that all the grocery carts are in excellent condition - this makes a huge difference for me in my shopping experience. Keep up the good work, Marlborough Big Y!

This is literally the cleanest grocery store I've ever seen with the best selection of items. I'm from the West Coast but loved shopping Big Y when I was back East. Especially loved the Deli and the fact that items (including soups) had ingredients labeled for Dairy Allergies. It's always hard to find things to eat with an allergy while traveling and Big Y made it easy. I would shop here all the time if I had one near me.

I really enjoy this family-owned polish grocery store. They are the right balance between high quality food and reasonable prices.You can find specialty items like the dragon fruit below and everyday essentials. They also have a great prepared foods section with famous polish treats and decent grinders. I like the selection of fruit, vegetables and berries; as well as the olive bar and in-store pharmacy.Perfect addition to Marlborough Town Center!

Better than other grocery stores. My biggest beef is the fact they got rid of buy 1 get 1.Buy 2 get one is what all the grocery stores do so Big Y is gonna need to not be like the others. Self checkout isn't a good start.

This shopping experience was great! Good customer service! Someone there to help you navigate the store. Easy flow of displays and lots of sales! Every department was well stocked and check out was a breeze!! Clean, inviting and easy access location. Great job Big Y!!

Wow! Fantastic job Big Y!! This newly built store is beautiful, parking is easy and the staff are so nice. We've been 3x now and love the selection of produce and bakery items. Plenty of sale items that very week to week. The only downside is twice we've needed to use the restrooms and there was only one stall with TP. They do stock it quickly once notified though so bonus there. Come time to check out you can have your pick of registers and friendly cashiers. This is a far cry to the store that is actually local to us so we definitely don't mind the 15 drive to this one.

Beautiful store! Has everything you could need. Great selection of teas and all natural foods. Handmade soaps, and beautiful produce section! I was very happy with our first trip there on opening day. My husband loved the hug the machine for a free Coke. Well stocked and plenty of employees working. Plus my favorite thing was that they actually had open lines with cashier's! Not just one line open and all checkout yourself lanes like similar stores in the area.

Very nice! They did a great job putting so much into a smaller space. The parking is a bit limited, but that doesn't take away from the great experience of shopping here. Their selection of foods and layout is perfect. The isles are nicely sized and the entire location is very clean. Next time I'm in I'll have to try the SUPER BIRD!Click the thumbs up icon up below if you like my review. Very nice store. A little on the small side but plenty of selection for food items. The store was very clean, and the cashier's were very helpful. Everything was well stocked including the hot prepared foods which usually seem to go quick in other stores. I visited the store around 7pm on a Saturday and did not expect to see the rotisserie chickens, hot wings, mozz sticks and ribs still available.

Poor circulation on dairy items, fruit and veggie buyers need to do better. Whole Foods is by far superior quality and product range as well as being price competitive as crazy as that may sound.I like the convenience but I'm back at Whole Foods for the quality.

They sell anything you can imagine. Their cheese selection is world class. The staff are great. My only complaints are the small parking lot and the high prices. Sometimes the convenience of going to a nearby store make Big Y worth the additional cost but, if I'm not in a hurry, I'll save a few bucks by going to Stop&Shop or LOTS OF BUCKS by going to Aldi.

Never buying a birthday cake from here again. I came in a few days before the event for a spider man themed cake and showed the exact photo I wanted. Came for pick up and it was the incorrect spider-man photo and it was terribly pasted onto the cake with the edges showing and bubbles all in the center of the image. Lastly the cake did not taste fresh at all and was hard the next day which tells me they made it a few days prior..a fresh cake doesn’t become stale the next day. I wasted $50 here so you don’t have too. Oh and I’ve been ordering big y cakes for years with no issue..this location is terrible though.

The new big y is a welcome addition to the town of Marlborough! Finally after 15 years of living in this area, I finally have a grocery store on my way home from work! The food is fresh, selection is good and the prices are not too bad. My only complaint is that the parking lot is too small for all of the businesses in that plaza. Don't let the full parking lot fool you; the grocery store is not as busy as the parking lot looks. If you can find a space, big y is a great place to pick up your groceries.

Now that the honeymoon is over for them, there's plenty of parking. I found most all of their regular prices to be MORE than Colchester S&S for the exact same items, which has the highest prices of any S&S around. Their sales are good though. Store has a nice layout, plenty of open space. There are always enough cashiers on so there's little if any wait. They don't have the few healthy items my wife regularly gets at S&S so we still need to go to S&S. The do have a pretty good craft beer selection and always have a local beer on sale.

First off I've never been to a Big Y but this grocery store has set the bar high for any other grocery store I've been too. Parking lot was very clean when walking in. Everyone I had asked for help finding items was polite, professional and seemed to have a genuine interest in helping me find everything...from a PEZ dispenser to some hatch chile to coffee beans. Very delightful experience...from the deli to the meat department...from the restrooms to the parking lot. As I was walking to my car blown away by this store a cart attendee told me thanks for coming in and have a wonderful rest of my day. Oh my goodness! The effort, care, professionalism. Best grocery store experience I've ever had.
